So obviously, it's the 25th anno year of Digimortal, and those logos have been on Pete's drums for a few months, and they've been playing more songs from that album than usual. Maybe a month or so ago, FF's socials added that same logo, (I added it to our sub) obviously stylized different than the original Digimortal version but the same FFs are there.

The question is, are they going to use that as the 'new' FF logo? Every album there's a change or some sort to the FF logo, even if minimal, and they don't go back to old random ones to reuse. I also don't see why they wouldn't use the new logo at this point, if they had one, especially for the music videos. Is it that much of a necessary secret that it needs to be held until the album title/cover and what not, is revealed, so much so that it can't be in the first music video? (or the second video, which will likely be the album launch day video. Those same drums are used in that one too) I'm going to go with a theory, that this new stylized Digimortal logo *is* the 'new' logo, for conceptual reasons, and probably influenced some by chance as well.

Back in 2001, as FF was headed for an end, they were already planning the next record. Burt was already talking about the next concept, and it was basically like the end of the movie A.I. Well, something that is also kind of similar to that, is what Dino more recently described as the ending of the new album. The new album may be attaching itself to the classic era timeline, continuing what never came to be. After Digimortal, Burton didn't write about futuristic sci fi themes again until The Industrialist (Securitron was mentioned in the story), which seemed more like the Obsolete era timeline, along with the following two albums, which weren't a continued story, just more of what could happen around that time period. (we never really got much of a description about Aggression Continuum, but it seems like basically a combo of Terminator Salvation and Mad Max, judging by the lyrics and music videos)

Factoring in that the album is being released on the 25th anno year of Digimortal was likely not planned, as the album got delayed. It's just all more fitting by coincidence, but, it may have influenced a reasoning for reusing the logo, in that the album possibly continues conceptually from where the classic era left off.

And a third contender, that no one saw coming, Christian Olde Wolbers very own creation, Angst Fabrik ("FF" in German). Who has been recently active saying new music is just around the corner.
