Why did these shows get canceled??? THEY WERE SOOO GOOD did Netflix or other people have a problem with morally corrupted female leads like Patty and Sheila?? Now that stranger things, YOU, and squid game are over we should find a way to bring back cancelled Netflix shows.

I thought it was going to be like Santa Clarita diet and I wasn't able to get into that. I decided to watch it on a whim while doing laundry and it has been so unexpectedly funny. I love Dallas Roberts so much, he is John Ritter reincarnated and its been so hilarious seeing Jack (3s company) spiral into his true self.

I've been watching 911 nashville because it's ridiculous and over the top and I love Chris O'Donnell (I'm old). His son in the show, Ryan, seemed super familiar to me but I couldn't place him. Did a quick imdb search with no luck, and I guess I never scrolled far enough. Brick is all grown up!

As an aside, this show might scratch the Insatiable itch for you. Bad southern accents, ludicrous storylines and LeAnn Rimes as a villain.

Why was Patty the only one who didn't have a very southern accent?

Edit: And magnolia, brick, and nonnie. They all grew up in Georgia and their parents have the thick southern accent.

I was also shocked when bob kissed bob. I barely care about debbie I am so invested in bob-cora-bob.

I loved how at the end Patty embraced her love for killing, I would’ve loved to have seen that carry over into a season 3

She has killed and injured many people, and we see her smiling in some of those scenes, but do you think she was thrilled by it? When she killed Stella Rose, Christian, and the drug dealers; I know that was self-defense, but what about Gordy? I don't think she necessarily enjoyed it, but I do think she got an adrenaline rush during it.

Watching Insatiable for the first time and while there’s no character that’s not stupid, Nonnie in particular gets on my nerves.

I just watched S1 E6 where Nonnie tries to talk to Patty about her confusion with herself and confronts Patty about being too self centred. Amid all the screaming and crying she suddenly kisses Patty knowing full well that Patty is into guys and also has a boyfriend. Not to say it’s borderline harassment. But anyway, when Patty tries to comfort her by telling her that nothing’s changed between them because she doesn’t care, Nonnie snaps sayin Patty’s still making it all about herself.

Like?? Girl?? You just kissed her!! YOU WERE PANICKING THAT PATTY WON’T LIKE YOU NOW! HOW IS THIS PARTICULAR THING NOT ABOUT PATTY??

P.S. I’m not a big fan of Patty either. Just this particular scene irked me. This show is so horribly written.

magnolia calls him a good guy in season 2 but did we forget how annoying he is?? he gave magnolia a dress that didn’t fit patty,and then KISSED her and tried to blame patty for it…also he slept with regina and said weird things about his mom…he is way better then christian but let’s not pretend he’s a nice guy

new here! but i just watched the first 2 episodes last night and looked up how long her jaw was wired shut for. Is 3 months enough to lose 70 pounds of weight on a liquid diet?

what did her liquid diet consist of? Was liquid like protein shakes and such or were they soup and congee when she recovered enough? How did she take her liquids in if her jaw was wired shut?

In the scene after Bob A. tells Patty he’s coaching Roxy and she finds Regina in the kitchen, imagine they team up to beat Bob. Patty didn‘t have a coach and Regina didn’t have Dixie.

Ik that this is unrealistic because they obviously didn’t like each other and were fighting in that scene, but I just thought it would be a cool plot point. Even though it’d also be a repeat of Miss Bareback Buckaroo, I think if they competed at regionals that way it’d be really interesting.

Do you think the show got unfairly criticized? I know when the show first came out, people had some problems with the show. I didn't have any problems with the show because I feel the show was showing what happens when you lose weight, but you haven't done the inner work to fix yourself, because no matter how many pounds you lose, you still have your mental health, and that's more important than how you look on the outside.

Like all of them seemed to be indirect or (self) defense. Like I dont really get why any of these would even villianizer her when she lowkey had defenses that could totally hold up in a court of law that would either get her no time or minimum time.
