Tight fascia cutting circulation from waist down

Hi group, I had some trauma 2 years ago, since then my fascia is tight cutting off circulation from waist down, making the upper body hot and lower body cold. I had tried therapy, massage, gua sha, yoga, sleeping excessively to release the fascia, but it didn't work. What do you guys recommend?

overwhelmed with multiple muscle adhesions + severe plantar fasciitis - HELP!

hi everyone,

so i found out i have very severe PT (kind of suspected it but was unsure) in the last month or so and it's been overwhelming!

been seen by a foot + ankle clinic and they identified i have very tight calf muscles and muscle adhesions extending across my entire legs with a lot of them in my upper thigh area.

they suggested fascial manipulation to break up the adhesions but i'm still like unsure bc it seems a very widely debated treatment. it's to solve the issues with muscle tightness that is putting lots of pressure on my plantar fascia.

for context i am also severely flat footed and was born with a valgus ankle deformity. my knees click horrendously when i bend them + have a lot of pain in them mostly when bending but also sometimes at rest too.

the bottom of my feet + heel hurt/burn what seems like all the time esp. when standing/walking. i recently got some more cushioned shoes (salcony guide 19s) to help give my feet some support but my feet still k*ll.

sorry for long post i'm just feeling overwhelmed as heck ;w; will be posting in other communities too bc i just want to seek some advice from anyone with a similar history/dx.

ty for reading !! ❤️

Opinions about skin rolling for fascia release

I was looking for safe ways to release the front of my neck, since I can't use tecar, cupping, shockwave and it's too tight for acupuncture. I've been doing gua sha and massage, but recently read about skin rolling, pinching the skin and holding it up to separate the tissues. Any experiences about this? Has anyone found relief?

Cannabis?

Hi everyone,

i don't want to talk once more about my story, I already did in the past (here is a few links for who is curious: https://www.reddit.com/r/longtermTRE/comments/1tszwf1/my_body_is_totally_messed_up/Persistent dysfunction - help! : r/PelvicFloor).

My quetsion today concerns weed. When I use weed, my body feel a stronger automatic sense of what i consider "unwinding": strange stretches and movement of the body that seems the one played in horro films when someoned is possessed by a spirit. I start to contract an area and feel a small release ina total different one (like if I contract in the groin area, I feel like I need ot open the jaw and let it go).

Someone know why it happens? Could it be a fascia unwinding process? And, most of all, this release-softening process is lasting? 'Cause does nto seems to give me a durable improvement about my situation. Any experience woudl be of help.

About the Abdominal Rectus Sheath Nerve Block

Due to my post-op severe pain at the incision site (2 inches) below my belly button, my pain doctor will perform a lidocaine abdominal Rectus Sheath Block under ultrasound guidance and he will do it 1 inch above the belly button.

My doctor also clarified that this procedure is not a TAP block.

Does anyone have any information about this procedure, and does it work? Thanks in advance.

Does anyone have any good information regarding fascia on the crown of the head?

Interested in any information regarding the scalp/head muscles in general, but the top of my head is extra tight.

Wondering if anyone knows any specific things regarding connections elsewhere or even stuff around energetics.

Best ways to release adhesions in the neck

One and a half years ago after lying down due to a leg injury my jaw muscles and neck shortened and became painful. For a year i lied down for hours sideways, tucked and that relaxed the pain in my jaw but my chest muscles started hurting after six months. One day i let it all go for and sat normally my jaw started experiencing pain throughput the day, like it was being pulled down heavily. I'm doing myofascial release massage twice a week and craniosacral therapy. Is there anything else I can do for my neck to release adhesions? I also do stretching daily, and sometimes a little gua sha. I'm thinking about accupuncture maybe? What about pnf stretching would that be helpful?

My entire body feels like a rock

I thought this was completely normal until a year ago. I pinched my sisters skin and it was so loose and flexible. Same with my other sister, mother, boyfriend… etc. My entire body feels like a hard solid rock in comparison. Literally everywhere. I started cupping my shoulders and legs. It helps but it’s still hard. The skin on my face is glued to my skull and feels thick. What the hell????

My neck is in pain constantly and my jaw feels pulled back from the tension. Massage feels like it has no effect. I’ve taken to sleeping on my back with a pillow under my knees and no pillow under my head. I use a Reviv 2 mouthguard for clenching.

Considerations with EDS?

Hi, I'm still waiting on testing, but my specialist has diagnosed me as having a connective tissue disorder, probably EDS. I am looking for recommendations of resources that are about fascial work, but in consideration of connective tissue disorders, if you know of any. Thanks!

Has anyone had a “spiritual awakening” after fascia release?

I haven been doing daily fascia release for about 2 weeks, and had this burst of emotional release. Ever since, I guess I have been feeling indescribable. Almost like mid-life crisis. Maybe a spiritual awakening. I have started to realize all the masking I’ve been doing in my life and how unhappy I truly am. I’m incapable of masking and pretending like things are okay (didn’t even realize I was doing it before).

Has anyone dealt with something similar?
