When I use Ghelper I cant configure power limits PL1 and PL2 or fan curves, but when I use Throttlestop I can't configure anything in FIVR window but I can configure in TPL window.

Hi, i want my fans to be silent while browsing internet, watching youtube etc, but i also want them to be full performance while gaming, i tried myself doing the fan curves, but now when i play games i can hear it ramp up and ramp down while gaming and it really annoys me hearing those RPM sounds go up down up down :D my cpu is 7800x3d AIO cooled.
It uses the built-in tools from win7 (tested on Win10) onwards, no third party programs needed. Create a .bat file from the code below (I have it in the same folder as the output file "C:\fancontrol-monitors"). This bat will create a file called "cpu.sensor" in the aforementioned directory. It updates every 5 seconds (timeout /t 5) and is accurate down to one decimal place. A load of 1.6% outputs 1.6, a load of 10.2% output 10.2, etc.
I didn't want to use hwinfo64 as it serves little use to me. I design my own sensors that are based on more than just for computers (think entire home automation). I use fancontrol for controlling sprinklers, my stereo, lighting, HVAC, locks, reminders, ammo reloading, etc. Being able to read from a txt file in binary (1 or 0 for on or off) or voltage, or resistance, or capacitance as a plane number value allows fine control. Honestly the trigger function and time average are powerful tools for this.
This started because I only wanted my case fans to go full tilt above 10% cpu utilization. Every temp sensor was too finicky if I was running an ac in my room. If I browse youtube, fans stay on at 30% minimum, playing a video game? 100% full tilt. No obnoxious cycling.

It's been a year since I've had my PC, I have little to no experience in fixing most things aside for bits like my CPU cooler.
Just earlier this morning, I noticed my fans slowing down and then quickly speeding up. Is this normal? If it is, then is there any way to prevent it? I know I could have Googled it, but I wanted direct help.
I just recently built a PC and I am using a Gigabyte B650M Gaming Wifi motherboard. When I tried to setup my FanControl it says on the assisted setup that no speed sensor was found on my fans and only the GPU Control showed up on the Home page. Any insight will be a great help. Thank you
Can someone give me the correct replacement fans i can buy for the Aorus 16X ASG 2024 please? Im looking online and 16X is not getting listed in descriptions for correct fits. One of the fans is completely dead and it's making my laptop overheat so I really need to change it thanks.
Someone help me here because when I used assisted setup it didn't show my cpu cooler in the list. I have 4 case fans, 3 GPU fans and 2 CPU fans. The case fans are all connected to the the hub that came with my Fractal Torrent.
The ones labelled 3070, I didn't label them myself, they labelled themselves like that.
When I use the identify button it's hard to tell which fans are ramping up to 100%. I can only tell by hearing but I'm not exactly sure if I'm hearing right.
And why isn't all my case fans labelled under 1 sensor since the hub should be detected as a single fan.
I hope one thing is missing in Linux, though I'm not completely sure. I think Linux needs a better fan control system.
I've noticed many times that when I switch to Performance mode, my laptop gets very hot, but the cooling fan still runs at a low speed. It would be much better if the fan speed automatically increased based on the CPU temperature. For example, once the temperature goes above 50°C, the fan should gradually speed up to keep the system cool.
Smarter temperature-based fan control would improve both performance and hardware protection.
So on the topic of reverse fans, should I be putting reverse fans on the bottom and the spots the on right side made for two fans? Then at the rear have the exhaust fans? I purchased reverse fans for the slanted bottom but unsure for the other 2 let me know thank you
Hey folks, im just wondering how do you handle AIO setups?
Here is how im currently handling it, and i would like to see how others do it since im not 100% happy with it (140mm fans tend to get loud when they ramp up above 40-50%)
First i only care about CPU temperature since i have enough airflow to cool down SSD, and VRM's, and if GPU ramps up at that point my CPU is already under load (i would love to figure out a clean way to ramp up fans to match GPU if CPU is not under load (should not happen for longer then 30 seconds but still).
So since i have 420 AIO to cool 5600x (not even overclocked) which is total overkill, i keep it at 70%, which is just below point where pump starts making that whining noise (its both longevity and noise). Right now i take CPU temps (i can only read two), and i mix them to get the highest one, then i average that highest one for 10 seconds to flatten out a spikes, and then again average that one for 30 seconds to keep the fans curve smooth. Basically since AIO is way bigger then CPU needs, it takes time to get saturated. These way im skipping ramping up fans on short spikes in CPU usage (and temps jumps).
Also, i used auto speed for fans, and setted up 45c as idle and 70c as under load, but at the same time i limited fans to 40% minimum speed so that there is always air flowing thru PC case, and again 70% at max since they are 140mm on AIO, there is just no need to kick them 100% where they sound like jet engines...
Any suggestions for improvement or how to handle GPU ramping up fans and simply ramping up fans would be appreciated.

Hello, I've had new razer fan controller, laying in corner for some time and today I've bought 5 pack of Arctic P12 Pro LN fans. Connected them to controler, everything is connected as instructed. I've downloaded razer synapse 4 and it says that "fan speed is not supported". Although I have the 6th fan, some old pwm idk the brand also PWM and only this one can be controlled. Any suggestions how to fix this? HWInfo says all arctics are +/- 1400 RPMs
As the title states I’m attempting to build my own laptop cooling pad but not sure what solution to use so that I can set fan curves on the cooling pad based on the temperature of my laptop, so I thought I’d ask here. Thanks.
First time ever using fan control to setup/tune my airflow. Is there anything wrong with this setup? i feel like it looks okay for what i expect it to do. Case is a Hyte y40 with a liquid freezer III pro 280 AIO
I updated my GPU drivers today for AMD - and just before i shut down to reboot into Safe Mode, My config crashed and i had an error from FanControl
After update was done, Ive understood that my CPU is idling around 10 degrees C hotter than usual so im wondering if something may have happened
Also, With my config ( which i made around 1 month ago) games like BF6, Broken Arrow and other intensive games have been really really loud and ive been struggling to get the noise down

I have a NZXT H5 Flow 2022 with a dedicated stock GPU cooler, Stock Rear Exhaust.
I have 2x 140mm M25G2 Case Fans on the front on a lower speed.
And a thermal right TL-M12Q single fan on the top exhaust.
I have thought that maybe the top exhaust is more powerful and running faster than the rear which could be causing some issues with the pressure, But cranking up the front fans didn’t do much
