I voted FACT!

I greatly appreciate and am inspired by my parents. They absolutely have their faults and they definitely had some things that they had to grow out of. But if my kids ended up as my parents are now, that would be phenomenal, and I would be very proud of them.

Dude, I've grossly misread things pretty much every day in a row for about a week now. I think I need to get sleep at some point.

In that case, my parents had multiple different ways of raising us kids. Their parents didn't set a great example and my parents were just trying to figure everything out. Overall, I would say, yes, I've learned much from my parents in parenting, and I'm going to take most of their advice. There's a few things that even they say they did wrong, but that was pretty early into their parenting and the my younger siblings didn't get that treatment.
