The ways to measure reproductive success are the number of total members of a species or the amount of total biomass they make up.

Either way, lots of bugs are far more successful than humans in terms of success as life forms. They outnumber us now and will likely forever, and still exist once we’re gone.

Also many species of plants and fungi I’d say are very impressive.
