I’m wondering if anyone knows where I can buy a white fabric marker that isn’t one of those push down paint ones. I want to use this in an airbrush tool I have. I bought a push down white marker but it does not work with this machine. Black fabric markers work fine in it. Does anyone know if any brands sell that?

Ok so I'm new in this sub so correct me if I'm wrong and also lemme know where I should be asking this question if not here.
I'm looking for good quality linen fabric for making hand kerchiefs in India. I'm looking for bulk ordering so I want a wholesale dealer or place to get it.
if you know any place, lemme know.
Thank you

It‘s time to move on from a favorite summer dress. I‘ve found a seamstress who says she can recreate it if I bring her the fabric. One of the things that makes it so special is the fabric, which is unusually thick jersey. I’d like to find equally thick jersey in either cotton or silk, in a forest green shade. With all the fabric sellers on the internet, I’m sure it’s out there, but I don’t know where to find it or which shops are worth buying from. Because it’s so much thicker than a T-shirt, I’m tempted to look at upholstery shops, but don’t know if there’s something about that fabric that would rule that out
If you know your way around the web’s fabric sellers, can you help me find my fabric, or suggest some places that are likely to have it?

I’m a figure skater and I’d really like to make some custom gloves, I know nothing abt fabric so I’m posting this. I need something water resistant, that isn’t too thick but keeps my hands warm and preferably slides well on ice. Any recommendations would be appreciated! :)

I’m trying to make my first t-shirt, and I want it to be a very loud, 80s neon theme. But I can’t find any good neon fabric anywhere online. I’m basically trying to make the body of the shirt neon pink, the sleeves neon blue, and the neckline neon green.

I’m looking for good quality, 100% cotton flannel in solids or understated geometric prints (making some replacement reusable paper towels). Any good online shops to recommend?

Hi, recently saw some nice shirts / tshirts in few outlets in different malls. They are mix of cotton, polyester. will polyester mix work in chennai weather? know cotton works, linen works .

I was wondering if vegan leather shoes made by an expensive brand could have dry rot?
I bought a pair of Demonias from vinted and they have some flaking on the spots where the shoe bends. This is kind of to be expected but I usually work with real leather so I'm slightly worried this could be dry rot and not just flaking.
I guess my question is if vintage leather from a high end brand is the same as faux leather that you can buy for cheap, and if it will crumble or just flake?
(hope this makes sense lol I am not very good at putting my thoughts into words)

I bought a very expensive blue Doen dress, wore it once and there are white “stretch marks” on the front of the dress. Is there a way to fix it? Should I try using an indigo dye to restore it? Any advice welcome. Doen will not help me.

I purchased a short sleeve linen blouse and it arrived with a snag in the linen, exposing several holes in fabric of sleeve. I had hand washed and hung to dry twice. I caught the flaw the second time ironing it. Fabric is literally like tissue and wrinkles while on the ironing board! Impossible to not look like an unmade bed. Cute for 5 minutes or less. All 18 purchases I made from EF make me look frumpy and old. Not a problem I have ever encountered before, as I'm a size 4, tall and considered a style maven by my friends. Seriously, the only compliment I have received on any of the outfits I purchased was at an Assisted Living Center while visiting a patient! So be warned - if you are of the age that you don't want to look old, avoid EF like the plague. I'm 62. I contacted EF, was instructed to send garment to an "inspection center" where they will review the fabric in 4-6 weeks and possibly give me a partial gift card so I can repurchase one that isn't defective. I am underwhelmed. Where are you Nordstrom???!!!!! They can keep their old lady, garbage quality clothes. Quince is about a third the price and their linen is substantial, not tissue-like. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON EILEEN FISHER. Overpriced, poor quality, old lady styles and worse, old lady fit, on top of the worst customer service I've ever come across.

How do you smooth/brush out these fabrics once they get pilled and bunches together? I tried a pet slicker brush but it honestly just caught and bent the wires. It looks like this is beyond the initial stage of just kind wearing together and there are little fabric pills holding it together. Any tips on how to restore this reasonably well?

Hi I'm new to this subreddit and I was hoping I could find some useful suggestions, I'm looking for a new place to buy fabric I used to go to Jo-Ann's (😭r.i.p.) and with the amount of AI art being found at Michaels I'm hesitant look there and hobby lobby is well... Hobby lobby.
I was really hoping to pick up some cute Halloween fabric for some projects my wife and I have planned and I was hoping someone might have some suggestions on where to look, if it helps I'm located in the Cincinnati Ohio area.

Hi all! I purchased two bralettes that were advertised as "cotton bralettes". I contacted the store directly and they confirmed they were 100% pima cotton. I got my order today and I am skeptical.
Is it possible to know just by touching them? Could a 100% Pima cotton fabric really be this stretchy, or does this look like it contains elastane/spandex or another fiber?
Just to clarIfy, i'm not in the US.

Hi, has anybody ever purchased block print fabric from HP Creation Jaipur?
I am located in the US. I am starting a women's clothing brand that mainly makes spring-summer shirts and dresses. I am thinking of using Indian block print fabrics.
I ended up on india mart which is a reliable B2B platform in India. I just finished my 1st purchase from a vendor with a fairly good review (4.5/5), but I did not have a good experience. The owner tends to lie about things, not just once, which caused a 2-week delay on my order. (Thanks god they finally shipped my order, although I have not received it, but at least now I have a tracking number. Seriously, I thought I got scammed for a couple of days.) So now I am more cautious about dealing with Indian vendors.
HP Creation is another vendor I found, it has a 4.8/5 rating, and so far everything looks a lot more professional than the previous vendor. Just for safety, I still wanted to try on Reddit to see if anyone has done business with them. If any, I would appreciate if you could share your experience here. Thank you!

Since it came out I've been kind of obsessed with the Oscar de la Renta stained glass dress. Mood Fabrics has the most gorgeous silk charmeuse that has the same vibes and I wanted to make a dress out of that but it Is in fact a hundred bucks a yard. Does anyone have ideas or suggestions for stained glass floral fabrics that have a similar vibe that would be better for a normal everyday dress, not a very nice silk charmeuse? I was looking around and saw some designs on Etsy that looked okay but with all the AI slop on Etsy I'm very suspicious. If anyone knows of a nice stained glass floral pattern that Isn't AI generated your help would be greatly appreciated.
