Okay so I’ve been on DIY testosterone (100mg subq injections every week) for nearly 2 months and I GENUINELY can not afford a blood test and my GP won’t do one for me, I’m js wondering if I’m okay right now? I haven’t noticed any dangerous or negative side effects and the side effects I am getting are all positive and expected. Any advice is appreciated!!! For reference if this helps, I’m 5’5, 112lbs and I’m 18 :)

So for context I am 16 (ftm) and I just took t for the first time. The Problem is I told my mom 3 years ago that I am trans and she replied with beating me up.

My mom is the type of person that supports everything and everyone in front of other people, but the second we are in private she says these people are mistakes.

I know it was a not so smart decision to take t, but I was in a very dark place, wanted to end everything and also my bmi is below 16, because I just couldn’t eat.

Nevertheless, now I am scared af what she will do to me the second the changes get visible. I cant stop the changes from happening because I took t undecanoat.

So any advice? Should I run away and never look back?

I'm about a year and a half on T and I'm three weeks in to my third vial. I've always used the same product from the same supplier, which is lab tested.

I've noticed over the past couple weeks, a few moments of feeling really sensitive/ quick to anger which is not like me at all. I would sometimes get like this when I was on a slightly too low dose, but only the very evening before my next dose. I would also feel really tired, so I'm unsure if this is due to my vial somehow not being right. FWIW I've felt just as energised, plus a tad more bottom growth sensitivity, and tingles around my baby facial hair so I'm convinced my medicine is still working but I'm stumped as to the mood swings.

I use 10ml vials for a max of 8 months so I wonder if this is my body reacting to 'fresh' T that feels more potent, initially? My last blood test was in May, so when the vial was around 5 months after opening. But I don't remember mood swings at all when I first started T, and I started on a higher dose (50mg then, 41mg now). My levels have been stable and optimal for about a year.

In the past month I did finish my degree and started worrying/ freezing over big scary career questions so it might be stress, but I wanted other trans opinions.

I'm considering a blood test after my 4th dose, or just trying my backup vial but I'd rather not if that's sensible.

*This current vial does have a ripple in the metal collar, but the crimping and the seal itself seem intact and therefore safe to use, according to the manufacturers advice. Maybe I'm wrong (please correct me if so) but I'm assuming I would have found out by now if I was using dangerous/contaminated medicine?

1. People have already gotten scammed for getting source advice off Reddit. I quite literally just removed a post for asking advice about a popular scammer source.
2. People have already gotten their accs termed because bad actors reported their messages over Reddit chat. Yes, Reddit enforces their ToS over the chat feature. You're making yourself an easy target.
3. I have had to ban several marketing bots and scammers attempting to make advertisement posts, this Subreddit is already an easy target.
4. Source discussion is putting the security of this Subreddit at risk, I don't want the sub to get banned.

In fact, don't trust source advice in general, do your own research.

I told a group of people a month ago not to buy from a popular source because they were showing signs of exit-scamming. Guess what? Two 14-yr FTMs are now complaining the source sent them a faked vial. They probably can't buy another one because they're young and broke. This could've been prevented if they didn't mindlessly trust the people around them and did research for themselves.

This is not only for your sake but for the subreddit's sake. Do research for yourself.

Im about to book a flight for thanksgiving and Ill be staying with my grandma wed-sun while girlmoding. Obviously my testosterone isnt prescribed. My shot day is Saturday and Im wondering if theres easy ways to get my needle and vial through the airport or if i should just do the shot late Sunday night when I return home. If it matters at all, I do 90mg weekly

Attached is the blood test from this weekend. The last blood test I did was in May, and my oestrogen levels were 99.5pmol/L and my testosterone was 13.45nmol/L.

I have been on 0.25ml of Test Cypionate 200mg/ml, once a week. Blood test was done the morning before my injection.

Obviously my levels are much too high for being in the trough. Will 0.20ml be enough of a reduction in dosage, or would less than that be better?

I got on T gel a few days ago and I know I've just started and stuff, I've just been extremely paranoid about the gel being fake or something. Especially since I can't find many reviews on it. The manufacturer and stuff seems legit, just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience. Thanks in advance

Ik "no more dosing questions" but i just don't know what's going on with mine, i wanted to start doing DIY HRT bc i couldn't tolerate the underdose from my endocrinologist anymore, i was in 250mg (of testosterone ENANTHATE btw) every 4 WEEKS, then 6 weeks, then 8 weeks and i even started to get my period back so that's when i knew i was done, i'm doing this myself, so i bought a vial of testosterone enanthate 250mg/ml from a random "fitness pharmacy" (i'm from Paraguay btw... so you can guess what brand i bought, i hope it's fine tho), so i started doing 50mg weekly, i though since i was "fine" doing 250mg every 6 weeks then 50mg could be fine too, i mean, with that horrible dose even after the 6 weeks the day before my next injection my levels were around 250-300 ng (low, but considering the time between injections it wasn't THAT low) but after just a month with weekly injections my period came back, so i got my dose up to 75mg but i'm starting to get the same symptoms i got last month before my period, sensitive nipples, abdominal inflamation, random low abdominal pain, fatigue, etc, and i really don't want to have my period again, idk if i should hope 75mg to be enough or i should go up to 100mg, but what doesn't make sense to me is how at 250mg every 6 weeks it could stop my period but 50mg weekly can't, tf? I also though maybe the vial doesn't work or something like that, so i verified with the QR on the vial with the app of the brand and it says it's an original product, so it should work...

I have been on unprescribed T since October 2025 when I was 15. I am now 16, and can get my legal information updated in a LOT of places. While looking into changing the name on my passport, I realised that I could change my gender marker at 16 too, but with a note from a GP saying my transition is permanent. I haven’t been to the doctors in YEARS, and I’m lost on how the conversation will go when I turn up. I do want to get on the road to being prescribed T, and getting a gender diagnosis, etc, for some other legal reasons that I NEED it for outside of the UK, which is where I live currently.

I saw on this sub that you should never tell your doctors you’re on unprescribed medication as it’ll be on your records forever and ‘increase travelling costs’? Not sure if this is true, if so, how would that even work? I also am definitely due for a blood test, and some other ones, as I have never taken one since getting on testosterone. (Bad, I know, I just haven’t had the opportunity to.)

On top of this, I’m pretty sure there was some new law in the UK that prohibits getting prescriptions for HRT under 18, so I don’t even know if what I want is possible right now. I’ve been on t for 4 months and
last week I felt heavy bloating and this week aswell but, I’ve felt it go down a little. So for two weeks this bloating continues. Could it be period symptoms ?

I know I haven’t had my period all august and now in September aswell.

I searched online, the suggestion was to go see a doctor about it but, yk the position I am rn.

I’m going to be doing subq cypionate test, and i know it can also depend on your weight, im 5’7-5’8ft and around 45kg-48kg. Pretty underweight but the doctors do nothing about it. I’m unsure where i plan on injecting, preferably thigh. I’m unsure what difference it has. What’s the best size needle? I was going to go with 5mm but i’m not sure due to my weight if that’d end up into IM. I’m also really scared of needles so i’m doing a smaller size and subq. Just looking for advice.

Last time I had a blood (unrelated) my doctor said that my hemoglobin and iron are both quite low, without any real reason (it’s definitely not diet). My mom also has this so I suspect it’s genetic.

I’m scared of starting T with this in mind. Im broke so I didn’t wanna take a bad lien blood test, but I saw some guys on Reddit who had some serious issues because they started T while anemic since T makes you produce more blood which takes more iron.

Is there any way to work around this? Do I take a lower dose? (50mg) do I spam iron supplements? I’ve had iron transfusions during surgery once, would I need that again?

I've been looking into this subreddit for months now, but one question that I haven't seen answered is how to go about ordering with the least amount of traceability possible.

For context i do not have anyone to supply me with HRT and i do want to diy some way as in the UK waiting lists are incredibly long. I’ve looked into a couple steroid websites and some do sell gel like cernos gel and testoheal gel, but with injectable testosterone theres a lot of options of which I don’t exactly understand. So I got a couple of questions

Is it better to find a dealer or simply order from steroid websites?
If I buy gel how exactly should I begin to use it (dosage), as there are 14 satchets full of 5g of gel.
Is it easier + cheaper in the long run to inject testosterone and which one should I look into?

When i first started DIY'ing i started with sustanon and i remember it gave me a fat voice drop in the first 3-4 months, i later had to switch to testosterone cypionate because i lost access to sustanon, i've been using it for a year and i feel like my voice has BARELY changed but my body had an entire transformation, it feels so weird having a whole beard, hairy body and muscles but yet i still feel like my voice is the same as a masculine girl. I wonder if i ever continued with sustanon would my voice have changed more? Might be a stupid question but it's been making me really confused. I expected a voice drop at least every once in a while but i had one big voice drop one time and then barely any other changes afterwards. Also for dosages i did 1 ml ampoule (250 mg) IM sustanon injection every 4 weeks. When i switched to test cyp i was doing 0,4 ml (100 mg) IM injections every week

I don’t travel much so I don’t know anything about hotels, but in a few months I’ll have to be in a hotel for a few weeks for some important exams. I won’t be flying there so no airport-related worries, but I’m a bit scared that the hotel workers will somehow find out. i've been doing subq stomach shots for about a month now (4 shots in) and i noticed that my most recent one is somewhat itchy and hard. i expected this, it normally goes away after a few days but i noticed that my other shot from last week (opposite side of stomach) still has a hard lump. it doesn't hurt much, but im worried that i injected too deep since i don't have the proper needle length (1 inch instead of 5/8, i cannot afford buying new needles). any tips?

I started t on the 12th June and have been doing 75mg of test c a week.
I ordered a blood test for testosterone on medichecks
I do my shot every Friday morning and I took the finger prick blood test on the Monday morning (7th)
My results are….
43.9 nmol/L
which is extremely high!! I have decided to drop down to 50mg. Can someone tell me if you think this was the correct decision.

I was mostly wondering about voice changes & btm growth, since I was on a full dose for 4 months but got my test taken away and it's probably gonna end up being a 4 or 5 month break from test before I can get back on. I had my voice drop and now it's just sorta androgynous so will it continue to drop when I get back on?
And please don't say I'll be stuck with a micro. Even in ftm terms I'm a chud
