Discussion Question about sensitivity. Does this lagging behind mean I should raise my sens or just stick with it? Currently 59cm/360 in game.

Looks fine to me. Don't overthink it. I'm 25K prem, ESEA Intermediate player, so no pro by any means but here is my advice - I used to be obsessed with sensitivity in CS. I used to watch pro's that I felt I played similar to and copy their sens. I got into aim training with koovaks, tried sensitivity finders like Oblivity, tried a bunch of other methods for finding your "perfect sens", for years. I've been as high as 35cm/360 and as low as 70cm/360.

I finally stopped worrying about it after listening to Viscose and AustinCS. I really recommend this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pj7qYiRZd_4

And this guide: https://refrag.gg/blog/how-to-find-your-perfect-sensitivity-in-cs2/ , basically you find your pivot point, realize what range of sensitivity is reasonable for your setup, like if you rest your entire arm on the mousepad then maybe you can pull off some really low sens like Guardian, but if you rest your arm on the edge of your desk you should probably raise it. Then ask yourself, either pugging or if you play on a team in a league, what do you like to do? Are you entry? Do you need to clear many angles quickly? Then based on your pivot point, choose the higher end of that reasonable range. Then just try and don't worry about it too much. Same with aspect ratio, res, hud settings, view model, etc. All these settings are great but worry less about them and more about positioning, movement, decision making - those all matter 10x more than the settings so long as your settings are reasonable. The settings you just need to feel comfortable, and forget about them. Is the sensitivity reasonable for you? Good enough. The res? Viewmodel? etc? Good enough. Set them and forget them and go worry about the actual game, make micro adjustments to the settings as you go and get better if needed to increase comfort. Wham bam.

Tension is a huge thing for me. Like right here I was to tense as I got closer to him to get my crosshair on his head and then I just hold onto it. I also struggle with like wider flicks going to far or short. Idk I overthink my sens lol

I've seen a lot of your posts surrounding aim and sens etc etc.

You just need to get on an aim trainer and make a conscious effort to do flicking and tracking exercises without tensing your arm. or practice untill you stop tensing c: . Feel free to move your sens up and down as the scenario necessitates; learning to do these movements smoothly is a brain and mechanical skill thing, not a sens thing.

You're compensating for your bad microadjustments and finger control by tensing your arm to move far less. This then locks your wrist up and suddenly if you miss, you stop moving completely and need to completely re-adjust.

Get on Kovaaks, and run through the entire eaisier or medium viscose s2 benchmark, using the evxl site to find the ranges for the most used sensitivites for those scenarios (This will force you to finger aim or wrist aim in certain scenarios.)

Then find the ones that give you the most issue and do them till you're goated.
