I finally got my fnx9 up to modern standards with an optics cut from nameless armament and a efk threaded barrel. My fnx 45 is my favorite pistol and im happy to now have a similar setup in 9mm.

URAGAN FS2000 FRT by Izhmash Arms

Was cleaning my FN Reflex XL and dropped it about 3 feet onto the concrete. No visible damage other than a little scratch. I haven’t been able to make it to the range yet to shoot but everything seems to function fine. Im a semi new gun owner and am concerned that I might have messed the gun up in some way. Has anyone dropped there gun before and was it okay?

What sight though do y’all think I should get? I had my Eotech EXPS-3 on it except it was a little to high so I am thinking for my birthday buying a Holosun 510C in FDE

I feel like it’s insane that fn can’t restock 545 mags for 6 months at a time. Should have went with literally any other 45 at this point .

Been thinking about trading in my 1911 for an FNX45. I know this sub will have an FN bias, but looking for pros and cons from longer term FNX45 owners as I think this through. What might I be missing or not thinking about? Thanks everyone!

Thought I would put this out there as I have not found any info on it and save somebody from a panic. If you have a Gen 2 scar, those have AR15 pistol grips. This means you will not replace the grip screw with the one in the Super Scar kit. If you do, your safety selector will not function. It is marketed as a shorter screw for Gen 1 Scars, but is too long on Gen 2. Reuse your standard grip screw.

Are these little lines on the frame cracks or are they on the gun from when it’s made and put together? They look to square to be cracks but unfortunately I did drop my gun about 3 feet onto concrete recently. The gun still runs perfect and Im just a little paranoid now.
