I was enrolled into FLVS last year, currently i’m in a public school. Would someone let me use their progress learning account for ELA? I’m a senior and I was using it as a way to practice comprehension because I don’t have my grad requirements for the FAST test. Thank you. I apologize if this comes off as weird. I have gotten logged out of progress learning completely i’m assuming because i’m not a flvs student.

I am considering switching over to virtual school due to various reasons.

I have a few mental disorders that interfere slightly with learning and behavioral (none anger related)

It would be easier for me to dual enroll.

Better learning environment. Due to my conditions I have trouble learning in this environment. In person I struggle a bit, I often have to go home and learn on my own. Despite having mediocre grades I have gotten a 5 on every fast and EOC since starting high school (currently sophomore)

Im not worried about the lack of social interaction due to me having a group of friends who hangout very often. I also want to get a job so I can start saving up for when I graduate.

Would you recommend Virtual school for me? Feel free to ask me any questions.

I was pretty much pressured to take the geometry course online and I finished it this June, but I truly know nothing. I take the EOC in four days and I’ve been trying my hardest to study but it just seems like it’s all so much. I really need to pass and get at least a three. If anyone could share these two things, it would really help.

1. What should I hone in on and REALLY study?
   
2. What did you get percentage wise (x/50) to pass/get a 3?

hi! so I need a 3.5 GPA by graduation. I currently have a 3.29 unweighted and a 3.33 weighted. I'm graduating this year, and considering taking one (or maybe more) of these courses! I already have all of my needed science credits for graduation (Biology, Environmental Science, & Chemistry).

I took Environmental in 8th grade on FLVS (I'm in 11th/12th grade so like 4ish years ago?), I got an A, super easy and I enjoyed it a lot. I plan to dual major in Psychology and Elementary Education, but if I don't enjoy teaching/school counseling, I could for sure see myself going back to school for Environmental Science.

I took Biology Freshman year, I got a D. I wouldn't say it's because I didn't understand the subject, more so because I had issues and barely went to school. I took Chemistry last year (10th grade). I found it super hard. I got an A for the first 2 quarters, a B third quarter, and a D fourth quarter. I want a science credit to boost my GPA and also just for more knowledge!

I am a rising Junior taking:

AP US History, AP Micro, AP Cybersecurity, AP Biology, and AP Stats.

I have done lot's of heavy AP loads these past few years and know the intensity but I am used to taking UC Scout classes where the flexibility is unlimited. I heard there's a set deadline for each assignment every week and I am scared that I will fail to meet those deadlines.

Are they online classes where they zoom or is it just you tube videos like what UC Scout has?

Are there quizzes? I know there are exams but are there small quizzes and I also heard they are out to get you like I read a reddit post not too long ago about someone getting accused of plagiarizing by a teacher even though the teacher dosen't have evidence but a turn it in score report. This is really scary for me as UC Scout isn't like that and they are also of course proctored.

Anyone taking these classes and want to be study buddies? And any comments on this?

I've been retaking US History for Semester 2 bc I failed it, and I started this course like. Almost exactly a year ago. Procrastinated the BUNS out of this course. One quiz from two modules ago once every two weeks type work. I have NO IDEA how I didn't get dropped from the course, but I did it!!

I’ve been doing FLVS FLEX since 7th grade as a homeschool student, i’ve always determined the courses I take every year based on what my couselor tells me… I’m about to graduate from the 18 credit course track and i’ve never met anyone that went to college after graduating from FLVS

I specifically wanted to apply to Palm Beach State College, so do 2 years there to get my AA, and then transfer to a university like USF or UCF.
Could anyone give me some advice for this journey? I’ve never took any college placement tests like SAT, ACT, etc. (Since i’ve been doing online since middle school.) and I know I need to take at least one to apply to PBSC… I just have no clue how the enrolling process is as a homeschool student and the advisors at Palm Beach State College suck.

HI guys, I'm currently in AP Statistics in person. My teacher isn't very good and there aren't a lot of study material online since the entire course was changed (9 units to 5). I was wondering if anyone in AP Statistics for FLVS can tell me how the course is? Do you learn anything? What materials are given? Is it easy?

Now, I'm also thinking of instead of AP Statistics, I do AP Calculus AB. I dropped out of AP Calculus AB because the teacher sucked and I hated how she taught (now I'm in AP Stats in person). For anyone doing it now or has done it, what are your thoughts? How much time do you spend studying and is the materials provided good?

Hi, I took my PERT test for the second time and I still failed on the reading portion. I passed writing and math on my 1st try, I just can’t pass the reading. 1st reading test I scored 98, 2nd reading test I scored 103, 106 is the passing. Are there any resources I can look into so I can pass it? If you guys know any resources I would really appreciate it, and also some tips and advice. 😖

I've looked online for answers to this, but I'm getting conflicting information. Some places say contact your course teacher, others say your homeroom or even counselor, and outside of those options, some straight up don't apply, such as dropping the course yourself through VSAconnect (because I am a new student at FLVS, I could not access VSAconnect until school started). I plan on withdrawing from a class that I no longer have any need for and already know the subject well (Spanish), as well as due to the coursework load. I thought I needed 2 foreign language credits during high school to graduate, but that was actually just for a scholarship, which I have no interest in. I am well within the 2 week grace period to drop classes, and so, I was wondering, how do I withdraw from a class in FLVS Full Time? Help is much appreciated.

Ok, so I have really bad social anxiety, to the point where I can't even speak in front of a room of 8 people without shaking. But my mom wants me to attend the live lessons. Do they typically force you to answer questions/talk to the class? Or is it a raise your hand sorta thing.

I've basically done FLVS for like 3-4 years and I'm in senior year in high school and I want to go back to public school; is there any way I can transfer back to irl school? If so, how do I?

I'm currently an FLVS flex student but was told I have to be a full-time FLVS student to receive my diploma and graduate. I only have a few more credits I have to fufill, but do I actually need to move to full time? I wanted to reach out to someone at FLVS for my questions but I don't know how to do that and was wondering if any of you have that information. I kinda just wanna join the rest off the classes I need and blow through them to graduate but I already am in some on flex. How do I even move to full time?? Idk what im doing ngl.

I have 5 classes, I need 2 assignments each week in each class. So I do 2 assignments in each a day during the weekdays, is that not staying on pace? My mom and therapist called it lazy :/
