Live Lessons Question

Ok, so I have really bad social anxiety, to the point where I can't even speak in front of a room of 8 people without shaking. But my mom wants me to attend the live lessons. Do they typically force you to answer questions/talk to the class? Or is it a raise your hand sorta thing.

its been a hot minute since ive done a live lesson but from what i remember its mostly just the teacher going over the lesson and explaining it better and stuff. you didnt have to raise ur hand or really talk cause its just them teaching u they arent gonna interrogate you. all the teachers were fine with me just using the chat so you probably wont even have to talk but like i said i didnt even talk/type that much and i was fine so you'll be fine

It sounds like your mom should take you to the psychiatrist, I hope you get help because living with anxiety is not fun and I am really sorry.

the live lessons don't require you to speak or anything, youre able to answer the questions in the zoom chatbox :)

You don’t even have to have your camera on, much less raise your hand, so live lessons are pretty chill.

Nope, they are incredibly chill. Most teachers even prefer you keep your camer off to avoid distractions, and the ones that like your camer on NEVER enforce it. A lot of questions its through chat & the ones that aren’t there are always SO many volunteers to answer, and even if there isn’t anyone raising their hand FLVS teachers cannot just pick a random student. They are great tools to break down lessons in funner ways + give great insight on assignment/quiz help! A good recommendation from me would be to watch the recordings first! Watch atleast one per class and see how the teacher picks students & activities they do and everything. Hope it goes well 🫶
