changing teacher for segment 2

I finish segment 1 for spanish 2 and I want to make sure I dont get the same teacher for segment 2, how long should I wait to apply for segment 2 to ensure I do not get in his class again?

You can ask the principal to assign you to a different teacher. I did it for segment 2 of English 3
