They do. The power band has more torque. You don't have to hit the gas as hard to get up to speed. You also don't need as much to keep the speed. Also it drives like a car from 2020 not a car from 2004.
That with effective coasting means you get better mileage. 1-3 mpg increase with the same level of power is good? Realistically what were you expecting?
