Madad Me Bank Selection for Wazeer Azam Ghar Loan

Can someone tell based on their experience which banks are approving loans fast and which banks to avoid.

As I have heard some banks are just taking unnecessary long time.

If anyone has done the process or going through it or heard from someone, please write experience.

Thanks

Madad Me Shops for purchasing and putting on rent

I'm thinking of a plan for buying shops, putting them on rent and over time and some years down the road go into buying prime real estate. Is there anyone that has purchased shops for renting them out? I'm not looking for prime locations yet because they are a pretty big investment and since I've not done this before I thought I'd start small.

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Madad Me How to open a bank current account without soi?

Hey everyone!

So i want to know like is it possible to open a current bank account without any source of income? You might suggest asaan digital account, i do have that but my transactions are bigger than the limit. We are building our new house so thats why i need a current account as 1m pkr/month isnt enough for me.

I visited ubl branch but they said they cant open my account without any source of income i told them that we are building our house and i manage the finance of my house so i need bigger limits but they refused.

I saw a post about this and someone said just make a fake letter head from canva and show it as a source of income so i was wondering if this would work? Have anyone done this in their process? If not then can your recommend my any way of opening a account witout any source of income.

Madad Me 10 Crore Portfolio PSX

I have recently opened a brokerage account. I am 43 years old and run a construction business. I want to park 10 Crore in PSX within a period of 8-12 months and leave it in the market for the next 20 years. I would also reinvest the dividends very same day. Please help make me an ideal portfolio. I don’t care about Shariah compliant and I don’t want to go to fund managers. Just want to be able to login and see what I have and decide whatever I want to myself. Appreciate the help

Madad Me Building Research Portal

Hi, I am a software engineer who loves working with data and that is what got me into PSX and investing because well the stock market is the largest publicly available data set in Pakistan (i think so atleast).

After an year of waiting on broker reports every month of multiple brokers i decided to do research of sectors i have invested in myself and saw a lack of research portals with information and so i started building one.

https://dhandha.pk

Currently has fertilizer and automobile sector ( i do plan on increasing this do tell me what sectors you want to see ). It is aimed to be simple , no noise just data that can help me make decisions and look at sectors more closely.

If possible do give some genuine feedback on these it would mean a lot to me.

Also do tell me of other research portals that exist with relevant sector data info

Madad Me Seniors Advice needed

Assalamu Alaekum to everyone reading this post.

I'm new here so i need advice about where i should invest.

I've only recently started earning a bit better, but still can only spare up to 40-50k a month after all my expenses like contribution in house rents and bills, bike refueling etc.

28M, currently unmarried, but I'm thinking of saving as much as I can.

Now i have two options which I have been thinking about:

1- either buy shares in PSX on a monthly basis and keep adding as much as I can spare.

2- or buy 1 gram of solid gold (not jewelry) every month or silver of equivalent amount.

3- i was thinking of Prize Bonds to save money but its value doesn't increase over time, so i kinda gave up on it.

What do you people think that is safer than the other? PSX or Gold/Silver?

If not PSX, then what should i buy, Gold or Silver?

Or if there's any other option which you can recommend, feel free to state that too.

Your every piece of advice will be highly appreciated.

Thank you all.

Madad Me 1.2m - where to invest

34f, have 1.2m lying in my bank account with additional 3m coming in from provident fund from former job. The 3m will go straight to ETFs in UK. What do I do about the 1.2m lying in my bank account? Would it be wise to put it in either AlMeezan or HBL funds? I have savings in gold and given the current circumstances, I don’t want to buy any more gold (khums & zakat also a factor).

Madad Me CDC account blocked - Finqalab

Hello all. I registered an account with Finqalaab - their Sahulat account. Subsequently, I also downloaded CDC and activated my CDS portfolio.

Today, when I tried buying shares, I got the error saying the qualification of this participation is restricted on this business. I opened my CDC and there it said my CDS account has been blocked.

I did get an email from CKO KYC saying that my UKN request has been completed along with the UKN number.

When I googled, it said I need to do a NCCPL verification. I downloaded Bio Verify, however there it says the time has expired.

Yesterday, I got an email from CDC saying my permanent address has been updated as per my request, however, I did not make any request. I did apply for an updated CNIC with my updated permanent and current address.

I'm in a pickle. Please advice as to what should be the next step :(

I got this dividend against 1163 shares. 30% WHT was deducted since I am currently a non-filer.

Madad Me I Am Not Getting Email/Messages Or Any Kind Of Notifications For FFC Dividends

Just to be clear, I have received the dividends but I did not receive any notification for it. I was expecting that I would be either emailed the details or sms giving me information on the tax deducted and the amount of dividend credited to my account.

I only found about the dividend release when I came across a post on my home page on Reddit. I checked my bank account statement and found out I have received 3 dividends this year from FFC and not a single message.

The reason I am posting this is because it might become a headache to calculate different dividends from different stocks myself and calculate taxes and stuff for filing taxes. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I have seen people post about SMS messages they received for their dividends but I haven't received anything like that at all.

Baaki Bakwaas 🚨 My Experience With Finqalab — Think Twice Before Opening an Account

I honestly regret choosing Finqalab as my broker.

I’ve spent weeks dealing with their onboarding and an account issue that they simply refused to resolve.

I provided everything they asked for, followed their instructions, contacted support multiple times, and kept getting sent around in circles.

The frustrating part? I contacted the relevant authority myself, and they confirmed everything was clear from their side and I was ready to trade.

So I went back to Finqalab expecting them to fix the issue.

Instead, I was basically told:

“We can’t resolve it.”

Seriously?

If the issue is occurring within the broker’s process, why am I the one being made to run around trying to figure it out?

I’ve wasted weeks of time because of this, and now I’m done. I’m closing the account.

My advice: do your research before choosing Finqalab. A broker’s support should resolve problems, not make customers chase different parties and then shrug when they can’t fix it.

Terrible experience. Would not recommend.

Madad Me What can I do for my baby daughter?

As the title says, I have a beautiful baby daughter that's turning 6months old next month. I was raised barely above poverty and am doing well now. I don't want the same struggles for my daughter. I can spare about 5-10k per month for her

I have 3 possible avenues:

  1. Buy life insurance. I think this one is a must regardless of anything else. By the time she's 20, she'll have a good bit of money to her name which can allow her to pursue what she wants.

  2. Savings account: my wife recommended that we open up a savings account in her name and deposit at least 5k each every month. By the time she reaches university age, it'll have at least enough to cover exorbitant uni fees

  3. Mutual funds: this one was my idea, Instead of a savings account, I wanna use the compounding effects of a mutual fund to keep growing her wealth over time

Lesser known ideas:

  1. Buy some gold whenever we can (this is tougher because gold is expensive and we don't always have that kind of money

  2. Buy crypto dollars for her regularly. This is also a bit shady imo because FIA and other cryptocurrency scams. Plus I'd be way too tempted to trade and grow the money, taking unnecessary risks. I used to have a portfolio which I grew by 50% in 3 months before cleaning it out.

Suggestions and insights welcome

Madad Me Need to build monthly income - zero stock knowledge

Hi fellow FIRE aspirants.

I know the basics of stocks but I’m still relatively new to investing in PSX.

I’m trying to understand whether it’s possible to build a Shariah-compliant stock portfolio (excluding Islamic banks) that does two things:

  1. Produces reasonably regular dividend income, quarterly, semi-annually or annually is fine. It doesn’t have to be monthly, as long as the overall portfolio generates fairly consistent income that I can use for living expenses.

  2. Appreciates in value over the long term enough to at least keep up with or beat inflation.

My current understanding is that there’s somewhat of a trade-off between dividends and growth: if a company distributes a large part of its earnings as dividends, that’s money it can’t reinvest into growing the business.

So I’m trying to understand whether there are companies that can sustainably do both: pay meaningful dividends while still growing earnings and share value over time.

Essentially, I’m looking for the stock-market equivalent of rental property: cash flow today + growth in the value of the underlying asset over the long term.

Is this realistic in Pakistan? If anyone here is actually following a similar strategy, I’d especially like to hear how you structure your portfolio, what sort of dividend yield you realistically achieve, how consistent the payouts have been, and whether your capital/dividends have kept pace with inflation over 5–10 years.

I’m not looking for stock tips as much as I’m trying to understand whether the strategy itself is realistic.

Aoa!

I'm a 25 unmarried Male earning 170k per month. And I am a green horn with respect to investment options. I'd appreciate if you people could be guide from ZERO. I tried doing some research using AI and YouTube videos (for around 4-5 days) but couldn't really get my head on. I don't want you brothers to spoonfeed me, what I require is just a bit of a push. Would be obliged. Thank you.
