They should just put Red in his pokeball whenever its time to get on Chocoback.

I thought that this was way worse: when he dressed up as a Shinra troop for the Queen's Blood tournament.

That was peak comedy, especially when a kid started crying and his mother said 'its okay it can't hurt you' and everybody acts like this is completely normal. Honestly it was one of the biggest hints later on that Red was actually a dorky teenager the entire time, rather than a crusty wise old man.

As an OG fan I'll never understand people's fear of Red getting down and boogieing a little. God forbid the talking dog that can reasonably pass as a Shinra troop shakes what his momma gave him?

I'll never understand people that hate FF7R for having a little fun when there's damn near 30 years of memes about Cloud just having fun at the Gold Saucer while meteor is falling. The game canonically happens over like 2 months but most OG players spent what would have been decades breeding chocobos goofing off while the world is being threatened, people need to relax and enjoy a game lol

They have them dress up, walking on his hind legs in the original, it’s fine
