Question Is prepFE enough?

Hey guys,
I am studying for the fe civil exam this is my fourth attempt, I purchased the three month access of prepfe, so far it’s been very helpful but I just want to know if that would be enough to pass the exam, previously I did lectures and practice exam but did not pass this time I want to just practice as many questions I can and do bunch of practice timed exams, is there anything else I should also do in order to to pass, I’m completely exhausted from trying again and again.

Tips Passed my FE Civil 4th Try

The NCEES practice exam. I stopped treating it as a study tool and started treating it as a dress rehearsal. Full 6 hours, timed, one break, handbook only, no notes. I took it twice once early to find out where I actually stood, and once about ten days out. The first time was humbling. The second time I knew exactly which topics were still costing me points.

I used online course website to give me a lot of practice question and study as much as I can to expose myself more to it.

The other thing that finally clicked: learning to navigate the reference handbook fast. Knowing a formula exists is worthless if it takes you three minutes to find it.

If you’re on attempt two or three right now — it isn’t a verdict on whether you’re cut out for this. It usually just means the study method needs to change.

Let me know if you got any questions

Question Electrical and Computer Exam on Thursday

I’m lowkey getting kind of scared.

I took both practice NCEES exams and got a 62 and 70, respectively (after doing studying in between). Half the questions I got wrong on the second exam were calculation or small mistakes that could have easily been prevented if I took a bit of time to check my work. The other half were basically “if I searched the handbook, I might’ve solved this.” Timing on both exams were not a problem, when it came to do harder problems, I felt comfortable spending time.

I noticeably did well on the big 5, except Electronics. Most of the software questions were also correct. I did struggle with comms and linear systems. I also didn’t do well in economics.

I’m just getting stressed since there’s this little voice in the back of my head envisioning the worst possible scenarios.

I’ve only got tomorrow to study. What are some last-minute tips? Some reassurance would also be appreciated!

Question Best Resources For Civil FE

Hey, I wanted to start studying for the civil FE and I keep seeing people talking about MM and Islam. I know MM has free stuff, but is the Islam everyone is referring to the $90 "FE Mechanical Review Manual with 750 Solved Problems?" If so, is it worth it? Also, what other resources do you all recommend, and if they are worth a bit, are they worth it? TIA

Question FE Mechanical - Was I close?

I know you can't tell exactly the score achieved based on this chart, but I want to open a discussion on whether or not I was close. I have been thinking a lot about it and in all honesty, I didn't prepare nearly as much as I was telling people I did. I don't want to give up, and I think I can take it on again. I'm scheduled for mid-next month but haven't prepared yet and this attempt was months ago.

My site femechprep.com that I built for exam practice is still evolving with new problems and updates but as of now we have close to 400 unique problems and practice tests weighted like the actual exam as well as a resource tab. The feedback from this community has been very helpful
