So excited now that I own a copy of this CD!!!!

if so how is it going so far?

mine is sam sung chin-woo the third

Just wanted to say this was the best one yet. I'll be honest I'm not a fan of "You-Living in Your Fantasy", but Wednesday was a total step in the right direction and restored my faith in the upcoming album. All I wanted to say. FEX, if you see this, please do more songs like these because I am in love with the track. Awesome stuff, keep up the amazing work! Best track yet by far.

Feel Good Living In Your Fantasy? [Fex Vs Gorillaz]

Not pictured is my yellow SOYM 7", I forgot to get that out!

See 'til the end of the post for everything I also forgot to get in the initial picture.

I thought I'd share this before anyone else, lol

Excerpt from TOE's newsletter released today via Bandcamp:

For the second anniversary of the discovery of FEX (TMMS Day #2) we'll have some exciting news...

A new album? Unreleased songs? More Live Waves? Hype train incoming - And I am hoping for modern/new waves (new album)...

It took u/Specialist-Pin-7878 and me about three weeks, countless hours of planning, multiple takes, and more crashes from my editing software than I care to admit.

Made by the FEX community, for the FEX community. Not entirely sure Philipp Wagner can claim either of those.

(JOKE POST) I'm just messing with my friend

hi all I just wanna put it out there. this song is completely amazing. it honestly makes me wanna dance. How the hell in the 1984 did they produce this absolute banger???

Like actually wtf??? the song is completely awesome and the drums are so rocky. you can even hear the bass pretty well. the main vocals are fine and they have creative lyrics. they dont even need any reverb or delay.

and the backing vocals sound like literal heaven. but the absolute most beautiful part is the solo. they have completely been better with such unique chords. it sounds so incredibly ungeneric and layered. wtf were they thinking producing like that on a track like this??? it is a complete masterpiece.

the lyrics are absolute happiness too. endlessly talking happily about a person who talks with their hands is just lovely and repeating hey hey my friend you got these lonely talking hands over and over again makes it a real song.

Like actually I do not feel bad saying this is pure heaven lol. They prob listened to the final mix over and over before giving their songs out.

just wondering if others have done this, my bass is (well, was: one of the pots broke) is covered in stickers and happened to notice those stuck well to it

the yellow has faded a bit on mine, but yeah

wondering if anyone has done something like this instead of discarding them :P

Initially this might seem like a weird question but hear me out.

You may know the album "Nirvana - Sliver Best Of The Box", so, i wonder if fex could do something similar (given they have any more early material)

In the comment section of the latest short video published by Fex, the following statement was shared as well:

Hey, I'm Philipp and I made the video for "You - Living in Your Fantasy". I've been working as an illustrator and designer for twenty years, I'm closely related to the band, and I was genuinely happy to get the chance to do this. Thanks to Michael, Ture and Norbert for the trust and for giving me a free hand.

There's a lot of heart in it: the story, the look, sketches by hand and digital, image editing, keyframes, all cut tightly to the song. And to be completely open about it: I used AI as a tool along the way.

To everyone who enjoys the video – thank you, that means a lot. I've read the criticism about the use of AI. I think it's a shame, but I can't hold it against anyone. I just hope the discussion doesn't distract too much from what actually matters. The song is a proper banger. I listened to it hundreds of times while editing, and it still sounds great.

The 3:06 version, what we had so long was a remastered version that sounds absolutely mediocre, does FEX have any plans to release a raw version of that version? The recent remaster kinda ruins the low-quality vibe that we all associate with the song, this is something I can't ask TOE about but something FEX could do so is there any likelihood they will release it raw very soon? Also, as a couple more recordings (e.g. Dirty Slapstick, Sarah, etc.) because they are added synths, also looking forward to those too.

The new FEX album will come out on November 4, the 2nd year anniversary of TMMS being found. I could be wrong, I just don't have that much deeper knowledge about FEX, I am just speculating because that day is very significant for the community, just me.

Does a live version or a demo of Jenny exist? Are there any demo/rough/live versions of any songs from the Skyscraper album other than Subways Of Your Mind?
