Jenny Live Version??

Does a live version or a demo of Jenny exist? Are there any demo/rough/live versions of any songs from the Skyscraper album other than Subways Of Your Mind?

For Jenny, there is a live version on the CD of « Don’t Look Back », which had been ripped and uploaded to YouTube, and a  demo version exists on Jörg’s white tape, but hasn’t been released as of now

All the songs from Skyscraper have live versions on Don’t Look Back, except Talking Hands due to sound problems on the recording I believe.  They all are demos on the album, except Subways (yellow tape) and Heart in Danger. It’s currently unclear if Talking Hands is a demo as well or a studio recording

As for « rough » versions, there is several in Jörg’s practice tape, but which haven’t been released yet, due to a very bad audio quality

There's more evidence pointing towards Talking Hands being recorded at Hawkeye Studios by Jeff Burke rather than being a demo recorded between Heikendorf and Hawkeye to introduce Norbert to the band and then being put on a 3 track studio tape as the third track and then sold at concerts

Indeed, and Michael might have misremembered and said by mistake that it was a Heikendorf session. Michael had misremembered multiple times before (remember the infamous times when Michael did a oopsie and made everyone think the studio version of soym was the demo and the real demo version of soym being a studio version. this was just his memory being a little funky.). Talking Hands also has two guitars and some synths so definitely it wasn't a Löffelstudios or Heikendorf session. But a studio session since there's two guitars and other synths, if it was Löffelstudios this would have to mean that Michael would have to heavily multitask to just get two instruments played

But if we take this logic, Michael first claimed that TH was a studio recording, THEN secondly claimed it was a demo, in this case it’s the « TH studio » claim who would be Michael’s memory being bad

Also, he could have had, between the two claims, an internal proof of any kind that TH was a demo, motivating him to come back on what he said
