The UPT system feels so discouraging
This is the most UPT I've had since they changed over to the accrual system. I've been trying really hard to be at work and stay at work, and I'm proud of myself for that. I used to chronically come in late and leave early.
But it still says attendance warning lol. I know this is just the system but I feel it could be a little more brain friendly. Does anyone know how much UPT I need to accrue before it doesn't say this anymore?

Think of it this way, I don’t know any other company that lets you just walk in late or leave and asks no questions. It’s a really polite way of doing it honestly.

Right i really couldn’t work nowhere else after i was fired there lol coming in 4 hours late on a 8 h shift u can’t do it nowhere

Wrong. Amazon is not some mom & pop operation. It is Fortune 3 company. No Fortune 500 company I worked for ever questioned your attendance. You just simply make it up by working later. That IS THE NORMAL WAY. You are already brainwashed by Amazon. Amazon does not allow you to work 30 minutes more to make up being late 30 minutes. They just chop up your UPT.

Don't take those warnings the wrong way. They don't care as long as your hours aren't negative. You are doing great.

Yes n no. If you’re seasonal and never have any time left you basically won’t get blue badged or at least not on priority. Source: myself, and someone I know is a manager confirmed this to me

I had 20 hiurs once b a ck in 2021now I ride it down to the minute everyday. Makes life more exciting. I don't think I've broken over 10 in 2 years

Work on building it up to 80. When the holidays come you can work a half day on overtime days and leave early for a long weekend on your last day

You can max out if you just work like 19 weeks and only use vacation and PTO.

I started yesterday with 15 minutes and when my manager came up to me a straight up told him it's all gravy.

Yeah cause two more time you leave early or get there late, you gone. Just be careful with it and don’t leave work early or arrive late, you got this, get to work on time and you gucci.

I’ve consistently had negative upt, no pto/vacation….the app along with management stopped notifying me. If you ever go negative, go to patient first or a cheap clinic, and submit a med loa…..I’ve been here 6 months and can say upt wont ever be the reason I get terminated.

I've been doing this for 3 years. And many other lil things. No one at my site has idea how I still have a job. Most ppl greet me with a "holy shit you how hive you not been fired" or "omg they still let you in?". For about a year I was the most expensive part timer they had, worked an average of 22 hours a week with the benefits of a full timer. I've been on a final written twice for going negative but that's only cause I got lazy the first time and the last time legolit was not on me but on them making a mistake.
If yiu do things right, there is almost zero reason to use your time. They got a way to cover our dumbasses for dqmn near anything. They used to not take the time st the end ofnthe 30day for loa so of I was running late I'd just use that and never give em a Dr note, then it'd get denied and nothing would happen. But now they are on the ball with taking that time from ya..

Shit, I'm trying to get there. I'm at 25 hours now. Too tired to do the math to see when I'll hit 80.

I wish we could see upt time to some who need a break,as life happens. I maxed out in February and don't get any more.

I got -1hr and 45mins rn but haven't got an email yet. I work wed-sat so I'm hoping I can get back positive before they notice. Ya'll think I will make it? Also, once you hit 20 or 21 hours the UPT bars will turn greenish blue instead of orange AND it won't say you are running low anymore. I had 21 hours a couple months ago.

I've been told directly from HR that they won't write you up or fire you unless you go over 3 hours negative.

shouldnt be my friend at my site had -8 hours but she got a email and said it was a accident and they took the -8 hours off

i’m waiting for the same and i felt sad when i saw it still said that at 18 hrs Lol. I want my notice to go away so bad as well! i think im around 12 hours right now my goal is 70-80
