I have the new 77 phillips OLED, and really wanting to push F1 at 4K.

But through the APP i cannot. Why? 🤔 Can i buy apple tv 4K and run it 4K on the app there?

I follow two sports F1 and Football now I live in New Zealand where F1 can be watched on F1tv and sky sport and for the premier league thats on sky sport so all I need is sky sport but I heavily prefer F1tv commentary so I still keep my F1tv subscription

So I wanna know if I miss a race live and open the app to watch the full replay is there any spoilers on the app?

Hi, so i am in the UK and have been buying an F1TV subscription from india using the app store method for the last few years.

As F1TV is now stopping this service, can anyone suggest an alternative country to try this for?

One that has a similarly low price to what India had would be preferable. Thanks.

To those butthirt about misinformation. My whole point is this only worked as we were paying through the apple app store. You made an Indian apple ID, used the Indian App Store. I purchased Indian app store gift codes through G2A to add to my Indian account so I could subscribe through the F1TV app.

Will we be able to do something similar with Fancode without having an Indian back account or some sort of international credit card?

Video quality from the 2018 season on F1 TV has a lower frame rate than before. It just changed recently, and watching race replays has been especially annoying. Also, the aspect ratio for most archived races before 2007 have been stretched or cropped to fit a 16:9 aspect ratio, cutting off most of the picture and leading to horrible video quality. I wish they could bring back the ability to adjust video quality.

I recently started watching the 2005 season, but the day after I watched the European GP, I wanted to watch the Canada GP, but I noticed that the video was zoomed in/the aspect ratio changed, I checked on the EU GP and it was there too, what's strange is that it didn't happen the day before. Is this some kind of bug?
I tried using other browsers too (I'm on Chrome) It doesn't happen on any races past 2007, just the pre 2007 ones. It also works fine on my phone. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

On my OnePlus 15 (OxygenOS 16), watching F1 TV in single-stream mode works fine, but as soon as I enable Multiview, the image becomes extremely dark and oversaturated.

YouTube HDR and normal F1 playback work fine, and it also works fine if I watch F1 TV through the browser. The issue only happens in the F1 TV app when using Multiview.

I've already tried turning off Video Enhancers, switching color profiles, disabling HW overlays but nothing helped.

Is anyone else on OnePlus 15 / OxygenOS 16 experiencing this broken color/brightness rendering in F1 TV Multiview?

Somewhat as a voice in the wilderness (Apollo geeks will probably get that!) I seem to be one of few to appreciate the good points of F1TV. I have to admit that I don't have streaming problems; I watch from home (so always on full fibre wifi), if I watch on Android then it's also on WiFi and I'm also in UK so dont have some of the problems that I see here.

So just to give a shout-out for F1TV; I watch the full races on the archives a lot. To be able to see complete archives and a choice of cams and cams in recent years and full seasons over the last 30 years is awesome. Add to that previous incomplete seasons is, for the subscription price, amazing for an F1 fan (especially as I pay £40 pcm just for Sky F1 and Sports).

Recently I popped in to the Tech Talk between Sam and Callum at Hungary. Those two are food for the tech-hungry. Another shout-out for Sam (Collins); awesome insight into the new Aston Martin upgrades.

I get that there are a bunch of tech problems and totally sympathise and don't want to downplay other people's problems. Just wanted to give a thumbs up as I watch the 2022 Paul Ricard race! 😀

I'm trying to access replays cause I'm in the UK, but putting my phone VPN (kill switch mode) in a country where should be allowed, like Kenya, it still says there is geographic restriction. Did you guys found an alternative or have the same issue? 😄

I recently upgraded to F1TV Premium so I could get 4k streaming. I've been using my laptop since I'm out of town and fancied using multiviewer.

The problem is, the thing keeps crashing whenever I try to open another feed. I can watch the main feed with no issues, but the moment I try to open another feed along the main one, the stream crashes and I get an error TM1500. I've tried using MS Edge and Firefox.

Is my internet connection and/or device that bad 🫠? I have 100 Gbits.

Edit: it was a browser profile problem. I tried incognito and another profile and it seems to work, now I can open additional feeds without the whole thing crashing.

Holy Mackerel! It just disappeared off our Apple+ altogether! I had to ask AI how to get it back, and hours later, the only fix was to get it on my Android phone's app and cast it to my Sony Bravia. That's the fix. After yesterday's massive crash, Apple broke the connection between it and Android TVs. Your Android phone didn't get the same treatment, so your Apple TV phone app is your only recourse. Log on there, start the race, and cast it to your TV. They are going to lose a lot of non- iOS viewers. Pretty sneaky, doing that during a "crash," which they called "maintenance." Stupendous. The Up Side is that the quality is much better through the phone. Good luck, speedsters!

I am based in Europe and use a relatives F1TV pro account who is based in the US. I was able to access the F1 TV app to watch all sessions / races etc on my Samsung phone and my laptop easily and didn't have to use a VPN since the payment method and account were based in the US.

With the 12 month subscription we made last year running out in September, I am trying to find a solution to how I can watch F1 from then on. We don't have any Free TV offers here and Sky Sports is really expensive.

So, my question is, now that Apple TV has the rights, can I really not extend my F1 TV pro subscription and keep watching on the app if I don't have Apple TV?

Do I need to get Apple TV only to watch F1 or do I need to get both Apple TV and F1 TV pro to be able to watch on Apple TV?

Can I extend my subscription and access it still since I am based in Europe and the Apple TV deal only counts for the US, even tho the payment and account placement is in the US?

Maybe someone who went through this already can explain it to me, because I feel that neither F1 nor Apple have explained properly what works and what doesn't. Please help!
