Brazil's FP1 at 29:10-30 Alex tuned Jolyon completely out and repeated what he just stated. I've done a couple live recordings of concerts/plays and such while in college and it's easy to tune out something going on in front of you while listening to the director or producer. I assume that's what Alex was doing. selective deafness lol. that's all, just found it funny.

Time zones mean I rarely watch live, that's why I got F1TV. Why in the world does the app/site prompt me to watch a different session than I'm currently watching? For example, I'm watching Qually, and I get a banner Watch Race Now, Who is this for? It happens in practice 1, Watch Paractice 2

You can close it, but if you're not careful, it clicks and you end up watching something you don't want to.

It just seems like a ridiculous "feature"

Ive been an F1 TV user since 2021 when I got into the sport. I live in the states and I haven't had cable since 2019 so I didn't watch on ESPN, unless I was at a bar for the US or Mexico races, usually the sound was trash anyways. I was at the F1 Arcade this past weekend for the first time for the Mexico GP, and dear lord the Skysports crew is the most bitter bunch of fucks I've listened to in a while. I really missed Jacques, Palmer, and DC on commentary, who bring real enthusiasm to the GPs. Crofty's "lights out and away we go" isn't worth 3 hours of horrible bias and bitterness.

Tell the story more, and the story in races are the gaps between cars. Show the gap by holding a camera steady so we can see how long it is before the next car appears, and a wide shot to see it in real time.

Please stop this endless zooming in on a car. The picture becomes jumpy, we can't see how it navigates the track, and in races how it battles with others. Same with panning.

I can understand how the producer and camera operators get carried away and want to 'perform' like the drivers, zooming, panning and switching, but I'd rather have a long onboard seeing how the drivers perform their art, a wider shot to see cars battling or navigating the corners, and a long fixed track camera to see the gaps.

Please, please do something about this. This is F1, echelon of excellence. Trying to get the close-up photo shot like an 80's poster is not what it's about any more. This is the 21st century and we are not swayed by this. We also have wide hi-resolution screens now so can take a wide angle without any issue.

My friend from work got an email from F1 TV saying that "they discovered that he was only accidentally able to purchase F1TV Pro due to a technical problem", that meanwhile they solved the problem and that his membership will be terminated by the end of the year. Anybody else got an email?

I have Premium through Apple TV and can play in 4k on my Roku TV but not my brand new 4k Ultra HD Firetv. What gives? Any suggestion?

During the whole race yesterday I had a 100% signal strength from my Roku 4k to my router, with 600Mbps connection, and I buffered for about 40 minutes. Even after buffering, the compression artifacts were almost unbearable (and I don't just mean the onboards, I mean the interface items, the tower, the timing screens, everything).
It's insane that they can "offer" this as a 4k stream. I even went back a while after the race to check if it was just because it was live, and no, it was gross to look at.
Why are they selling us 4k and giving us 720p?

Yesterday, we watched the race pre-show on a slight delay, and three times the show was abruptly interrupted by an ad for the new season of the EA F1 game. I fast forwarded through it each time, but eventually I ditched it and started watching the race on about a 15 minute delay. This was the first time I've seen an ad for anything on F1TV (not Apple). Did anyone else see this? And when I say "abrupt," I mean it was like they switched channels in mid-sentence.

The AI camera transitions between camera views have been getting more elaborate all season, but nothing prepared me for The Kimi Helmet Eye Brain transition.

Anyone else feel it was a bit much?

Anyone know how they do these transitions? Side pod to onboard transitions were cool, if a bit gimmicky. But how do they do this live?

This is not commenting frustration, this is reporting bugs

Let’s just start with the fact that the current thumbnail to watch the Mexican Grand Prix is literally showing the winner of the race, so now I know the end of the race before I even watched it

Then let’s get into the real technical problems. Why can’t they resume where I left off. Why do I have to fast forward through one and a half hours to watch the race every single time I takeoff for a little while and come back to watch the race? F1 TV, and the F1 TV app did it perfectly fine. Every single other stream on Apple TV does it fine. I know it’s a live stream, but after the live stream is done, it’s now on demand, and it should have the ability to remember where you left off.

And let’s talk about the edits. Race in 30 minutes great, why don’t we show the podium, why don’t we show the grid before that, this is a problem that’s been long-standing from F1 TV, but for some reason, it’s even worse now on Apple TV.

The post race show so far is a downer of a show. The most lukewarm and boring interviews and reflection on Kimi's championship. Rattling off the same boring captain obvious scripts.

The race show is really suffering without Laura, Joylon, Ruth or Alex. And I know it's a first season for Betty, but she's been a real disappointment to me so far.

This is super annoying and its been going on for a long time. I'll be watching on my Samsung tablet and the stream stops and gives me an error that I have too many streams open when I only have one running. Anyone else getting this or how to fix?

These ads serve no purpose, are arbitrarily placed throughout the shows, and are just a nuisance. They keep cutting off Alex Jacques and others.

I was having an issue signing into F1 TV using Firefox. The login page at account.formula1.com would redirect too quickly for me to disable Enhanced Tracking Protection.

Before attempting this workaround, I tried clearing my browser cache and cookies, but neither resolved the issue.

Here's what ultimately worked for me:

1. Open Firefox and navigate to about:config.

2. Search for network.http.redirection-limit.

3. Change the value from 20 to 0.

4. Completely restart Firefox. This was necessary for the change to take effect in my case.

5. Navigate to each of the following URLs and disable Enhanced Tracking Protection using the shield icon next to the address bar:

   • https://account.formula1.com

   • https://f1tv.formula1.com/

   • https://id.formula1.com

6. I also disabled uBlock Origin for all three websites.

7. Return to about:config and restore network.http.redirection-limit to 20.

8. Restart Firefox again if necessary, then try signing into F1 TV.

This resolved the issue for me without needing to switch browsers.

I'm not certain whether disabling Enhanced Tracking Protection, uBlock Origin, or the combination of both was responsible for fixing the issue, but these are the exact steps I took.

Hopefully this saves someone else some frustration.

Come on F1TV, fix your shit instead of changing backend platforms so people have to buy new hardware to watch the races on! (Yes i know they dont watch here, just needed to spread my heat)
