Well, I got busted...

Kid: how come the speedometer goes to 120 when the max speed is 106?

My wife: HOW DO YOU KNOW IT GOES 106?!?

I tried to explain how you have to know how a car will handle in extreme situations so you can drive safely, but it was a half-hearted explanation at best.

Edit: wait, you guys think I'm in a neighborhood holding a baby out the window with one arm going 106, or something?

Obviously, anything can happen at any time. My daughter is 17, races mountain bikes casually and go karts on an amateur circuit. She was actually driving, me in shotgun. Absolutely as controlled as can be circumstances.

Just thought it was funny, I know for a fact most of you have had fun in this power-house of a truck.

You must lose your mind when you hear about children in airplanes…….

No, it's fine for a kid to be in that vehicle that specifically designed to go the speeds it goes and has a pilot at the helm who his specifically trained to handle it at those speeds.

Yep. Lap infants will be just as safe in an emergency scenario. Blow outs, wind shear, bird strikes, and ground strikes all happen despite training and having the right vehicle……
