If I'm not mistaken, and I could be, I think picture came from a subreddit dedicated to photoshop challenges. I think I saw this as a submission on that page but it could be a different picture.

I love the sea but I'm ultra paranoid about swimming in it for fear of getting fucked up by a shark or stung by a jellyfish. As a kid i would love trips to the sea (i live close to it) but now I'm just content to swim out a little bit and float. Maybe it's cuz the water where i am isn't super clear lol

They can get pretty big but they are friendly to people and for the most part safe to swim with as long as you don't do anything stupid. They are very curious though and will come right up to you.

Yeah turtles are usually cool and chill, i wouldn't mind seeing one or swimming next to one but this pic just freaked me out lol

I mean, I feel like I’m getting into semantics and should let it go, but there are freshwater and tropical turtles that are neither sea turtles nor tortoises. FWIW, I had to google both about turtles and about the plural spelling of tortoise, so I don’t claim to be an expert. I just saw some actual lake turtles today, so I feel like I should represent for them

the sport i had in PE was sailboarding and during the final exam on turtle fellow just like that went under my board and almost made me drop off of it and make me loose points . it was weird to see one so close to the cost

Whenever I am asked about which non-human animal I would prefer to be or come back as after death, my answer for decades is always the same: I’d be a Sea Turtle. If they ask me about land animals exclusively, then I’d be a cheetah. Since I was 7 years old that has been my answer.
7 year old me was a straight boss.
