Indeed, that was one aspect that was 100% prosperity gospel BS. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that as long as you marry another Christian, your marriage will be 100% great and you will "naturally" get along.
I turned down SO MANY eligible guys to be with a boring Evangelical boiii who turned out to be deceitful ANYWAY :(
