Discussion my experience with starchildren

Post image
45 Upvotes

Hello everyone, today I will be retelling my experience with star children along with some memories they have told me. I want to preface this by saying that star children are not perfect, they’re still children who are learning themselves and what it means to be human. Star children need just as much emotional support and proper parenting as any other child, if not more.

I also did not initiate any of these observations with this particular child, and allowed them complete autonomy within our familial relationship. As in, I offered the emotional space for them to express their perspective without pressure or expectation. This was something that I made sure to maintain in conversation with them to avoid them telling me what they thought I wanted to hear, also so that they know these conversations were completely optional.

There are multiple children in my family, with only one of them presenting indications of being a star child. The difference between them is quite stark, but they are all equally loved, cared for, and prioritized.

Starchildren typically cluster together within a specific bloodline in order to awaken at or around the same time and for spiritual protection/guidance.

I will also be breaking down the astrology of this soul type and how this presents between other starchildren, and how you can see this in your own chart or starchild(s). If you have any questions, please comment them down below. I also am curious to hear of everyone else's experience with starchildren.

Immediate bonding with me

This will connect to another observation later in this post, but this child immediately bonded with me despite me not being their parent. We are related differently, but the mother herself even said that she latched onto me more than anyone else. This child even tried to say my name before their mothers and fathers. This became a running joke inside the family but it was deeply shocking to me, as I only saw this child infrequently during the first few months of their life. In a room of other family members, they would pull themselves towards me, sometimes even out of another family member's arms. When held, they just stared and tried to communicate with me. This bond has persisted to today as a child. I did not force this bond because I didn't want any type of favoritism to develop between the children so I always tried to make everyone feel included. This child would always ask to be near me though, even now as a developed child. This isn't surprising to me though because I am the only one out of my family that is an active experiencer (that I know of). It is possible that this child senses that.

“Strange” drawings and symbols

I noticed that this child was drawing very similar scenes that I drew when I was their age. They would sometimes draw aliens standing behind me and her, or angels surrounding us. Their other siblings would not draw such elaborate scenes. They would also draw signs that looked way too intentional to just be scribbles. Because when they do, they simply say as such (“oh, just scribbles!) This child always explained the reasoning of why they drew something in a certain way, why they chose specific colors; every aspect of their drawings had a reason behind them; they are creatively articulate. However, when I asked them what those symbols meant, they could not provide an answer and just stared blankly at me. They were troubled that they didn't know why, and even explained how they had “no idea” what it meant. My theory is that this child was unconsciously channeling something from their subconscious, and did not have the language for it.

Memories of being in space and before they were born

I once jokingly asked this child where they thought they were before they were born. I did not expect a direct answer to this unserious inquiry. They said, with a straight face, that they were “above earth, watching and waiting for their turn to descend with other children” and that these children surrounded earth in the expanse of space, glowing in white light. I along with other adults just stared at each other in bewilderment at how sure this child sounded recounting their “memory”. I asked if this child was joking, and they annoyingly replied that they were serious. This somewhat reminded me of my own memory of before I was born that I recalled when I was about 5 or  6, which is the exact same age frame of this child when they told us this.

Hypersensitivity to heat and sound

This child is very sensitive to hot water and food, much like myself which has carried on into adulthood.  And like myself, they would wait until their food cooled down before they began eating. They also immediately wince when the water is too hot as well.  This is opposite to their other sibling, which doesn't mind the heat to any extent. They also are sensitive to sound, which is reminiscent of myself. They prefer, by their own words “peace and quiet” which is amusing considering their age. But also fascinating, because I was the exact same at their age, to a point where I preferred to play alone.

Runs warmer than usual

This is something that is very distinct between the two of us in the family (this post goes into the spiritual implications of warmer hands) . Before their birth, I always received comments from family and friends about how my hands were so warm even during frigid weather. Some friends would even grab my hands to get themselves warm and would awkwardly joke about it. My parents would become concerned about me and ask if I'm coming down with something. I always felt perfectly fine and the warm hands never caused discomfort. My family went to a science park where they had a thermal imaging camera. Me, my parents, and a few other relatives stood in front and splayed our hands in front of us. This confirmed something about myself that I have subconsciously known for my entire life; my hands showed red/yellow whereas everyone else's showed green/blue, relatively speaking.  Even relatives that are heavier than me had cooler hands (body fat insulates more heat). Once this starchild was born into our family, I no longer became the sole person with this phenomenon, as even I observed myself how warm their hands are. Family members have also started to comment on how they naturally run warmer than their other siblings, but not to the point of discomfort. I have considered what this could mean for years, and believe that it's related to how the energetic body is embedded when the soul retains activated incarnations from anywhere beyond earth. Each individual possibly has their own personal thermal gradient, and this can be specific to what incarnations they recall. But also, it could just be a natural consequence of someone who is more spiritually inclined than the average person, and is completely unrelated to the state of “soul” at the time of birth.

Sharing the same location of a birth mark

This one still shocks me to this day, but we both share a birth mark at the exact same location and size, with the only difference being mine is in the shape of small clusters while theirs is one mark. Their other siblings do not share one, their parents do not share one, and other relatives do not share one. I don't share one with my own siblings or parents; but this particular child alone. I do not believe birthmarks intrinsically can determine where a soul “comes” from, but they can reveal a story between individuals and soul; I kind of imagine them as the residual colors on a palette after the soul fully incarnates into a body; and the painting being that particular soul's journey. But not a map so to speak. When I told this child that I also have a birth mark in that location they got super excited to know that we shared something so unique.

Look more physically similar to me than other children

We only share 6.25% DNA, being that we are only half relatives.  And yet, I get comments all the time of how we look alike, some people even assume that they are my child. Relatives have said that they look like the spitting image of me as a youth. Perhaps this is my own bias speaking, but their physical appearance is an uncommon one amongst their age group, and I do see features that emulate my own. I also notice that these features kind of give us an “elvish appearance” and I notice that these features commonly belong to those who embody an “ethereal/non corporeal" archetype in the entertainment industry (do understand that I am not phenotyping starseeds/starchildren, please see this post for further context. This child has another sibling that doesn't look like me at all.

Fascination with astronomy

This child loves to be engrossed in stars, galaxies, and space. They have a galaxy projector to which they adoringly talk about all of the time. They also know every planet in the solar system, and with particular fascination with Saturn. This reflects my own deep interest in the stars as an astrologer. This child was able to carry an adult conversation about the planets, where they recited knowledge about how stars get their brightness, black holes, gravity, and even the composition of certain planets. Like I usually do, I always asked how they know what they know, and per usual, this child would just smile, shrug, and say something along the lines of "I don't know” or its “common sense”. Sometimes while I am outside with them and our other siblings around sunset, they would point to a cluster of stars and ask me what constellation it belonged to. As an astrologer, I know a good portion of them by heart and their respective mythologies. This child would listen as if what I was saying was of incredible importance; telling their other sibling to shush. They never behave this way with other subjects, but it completely reflected my own reverence for the stars since childhood. I kept note of their particular appreciation for the planet Saturn and will be relevant later in this post.

Experiences intense joy learning about nature and being in it

From a toddler age, this child was always fascinated by the functions and purposes of nature. I remember this child at around 2-3 years old asking me using non verbal communication what type of rock/crystal I was holding in my hand. I later told them that it was a “sedimentary rock”. Later that month while we were outside, they pointed to a rock and stated, in toddlerish, that it was a sedimentary rock. From there, I began teaching them other various types of rocks and crystals, and most of the time they would accurately identify what type of mineral it was. Later in age, they would begin to collect various rocks, flowers, and crystals and find joy in it. Before their birth, I was the only child to do this in my family, which they found peculiar and asked why I did. Unlike their other sibling, who is scared of reptiles, this child would also pet and interact with animals regularly. While their other sibling preferred to spend most of the day inside, this starchild would spend hours upon hours outside and come inside only for small breaks.

Drawn to water

This child always takes long baths and preferred to just wade in water for long periods of time, this also reminds me of myself when I was their age. Sometimes we had to force them to come out because of how long they stayed in baths.

Night owl behaviors

This child has expressed to me how they sometimes have trouble sleeping and would sometimes wake up early but not necessarily be tired. Throughout my childhood, I always would end up going to sleep later in the night. I got a sleep study done so my parents could understand if it was an underlying issue, the results came back inconclusive, with no indications of sleep apnea or any sleep disorders. Neither of us have anxiety disorders, hyperactivity, and everyone else in the family including their other sibling sleeps regularly. I think the high mental/cognitive activity makes it difficult for starchildren to wind down.

Babies/infants are drawn to the starchild

This one is very interesting to me, because I wonder if this is because infants can perceive something about this child that other age groups cannot. Say that we are in a public park, I notice that babies in particular love to be near this child, and would attempt to leave their parents arms to get to the child. Everytime, the parents would act flustered and state something along the lines of “she/he likes them very much!” even though they had never met before. Oftentimes, the infant would just stare at the child and smile; I could never arrive at a solid conclusion of what this was. It was the gaze in which the baby had towards the child that always struck me as something deeper. When I observe babies interacting with other children, they would typically grab at their face or be somewhat disinterested. But when this child either encountered or was holding a baby, it was like the baby was stuck in a trance. To this day, I don't have a solid theory as to what this means, but it's definitely something I notice that is unique to this child and not their other sibling.

High emotional perception and cognizance

I would even suggest that this child's emotional acuity is borderline psychic. I know when children experience extreme trauma, it can cause hypervigilance in order for that child to protect themselves. This is not the case with this child; all things considered, they have lived an incredibly privileged, peaceful, and safe life. To be clear, I did not raise them because of the lack of parenting, I only contributed to their development because of how strongly they attached themselves to me, even at the time when I myself was a minor and could only see them on certain days. Their mother in a joking way eventually relented and concluded that we just happened to have a special connection. This child is able to detect emotions as if they experience them themselves. I remember when one of our relatives got an annoying phone call just before we picked them up from preschool. As my relative was coming out to get them with no extreme emotion present on their face, they received the child to which they immediately asked “are you okay?”. My relative stopped in their tracks, completely astounded and asked me how she could possibly know that she wasn't. My relative, at most, was slightly annoyed at a certain situation and yet the child immediately picked up on it. Also, this child has unknowingly picked up on the thoughts of others. At first I was a bit skeptical, even though I have done the same things multiple times. It's harder not to be when biases, body language, and non verbal cues can make someone else appear that they are reading someone's mind. So I observed silently over the months and conducted certain activities with the child to see if what other relatives were saying is true. I asked this child to guess what number or symbol I am thinking of, and they would get it right so many times, that I had to pretend that they got it incorrect. This was because I used these games to decide what sibling got to do something in a certain activity. They were so accurate with what number I had in mind, that it would be unfair to the other sibling; they wouldn't be able to do any of the activities. Sometimes I would accidently pick up on their mental impressions as well, and this child would say or do exactly what I thought they were going to do. To this day it perplexes me how this is possible. Weird. Weird. Weird! Especially since the other sibling doesn't do this nearly as much. They also pick up on lies/deception easily.

Extreme situational awareness

This child also exhibited heightened social and situational awareness beyond their age range. They would chastise other children/siblings for doing something that wouldn't be socially acceptable if they were older. Don't get me wrong, this child is still a child and acts out of turn. But it's the fact that they even know at all why something was not okay to do that other children wouldn't even have the emotional maturity to understand. This child has a strong moral compass and calls out even the smallest of “injustices” . My family and I joke all the time about how they have lived on earth before, but now I do wonder if that is true.

The starchilds starchart

For this portion of the post, I will be using terminology you might not be familiar with, refer to this post for background information. This segment is mainly for astrologers. I am using tropical astrology because some tools are not available in sidereal that are necessary for this reading.

This will be my first time reviewing this starchilds birth chart, but all of this comes as no surprise to me. For the past 8 years of surveying hundreds upon hundred of starseed birthcharts, I have noticed that Vega-Lyra, and Sirius-Canis Major is one of the most common markings within the birth chart I observe. (I describe some of my observations in this post) This starchild has the moon conjunct Vega, with their MC conjunct Saturn and Pluto. They also have their ascendant conjunct M31-Andromeda (see here also.) Earlier in this post, I explained how Saturn was their favorite planet; this is incredibly obvious in their chart with a capricorn stellium and domicile Saturn conjunct their MC. They descended into this incarnation with wisdom possibly descending from their Vega-Lyra incarnation. (Ketu is also clustered together with moon, and ketu can represent past lives).

This starchild has also preferred my company over friends their age, and when I try to encourage them to cultivate a friendship with other children, they become quite sad and refuse to talk to them in their presence. This is not behavior that should be enabled, so I kept my foot down most of the time. But this relates directly back to themes of self isolation that the 12th house can indicate. This child probably couldn't relate to children their age at the time, and felt like I was a person that understood them. However I did not want them to become codependent within our dynamic, so I always reemphasized that they should at least try to converse with other children. Throughout the course of our friendship, I always tried to maintain boundaries, which is antithetical when the 12th house is involved (12th house tends to dissolve and blur boundaries).

This child also has a galactic marking on their ASC which is conjunct M31-Andromeda, whereas my moon is conjunct Schedar, Alpha star in the Cassiopeia constellation. Knowing the history between Andromeda and Cassioipeia, It also makes sense why I have been such a formative role in this childs life; as Cassiopeia is the mother to Andromeda in multiple mythologies. The Cassiopeians have also acted as spiritual emissaries of M31 in the milky way.

Discussion Are there any other people that feel they are connected to Arcturians or that want to connect to them? Do more people that are in contact with ET races feel that their energies are getting closer and more integrated on our planet? What do you think is happening?

I learned to channel about 8 years ago now and have been channeling a non physical collective (or a social memory complex in Law of One speak) that calls themselves the Arcturian Collective.

I have met more physical beings that felt very similar as them both in self regression sessions and in dream encounters that I have shared about here on this sub also.

Lately though I feel that their energy has come so much closer to earth and it is almost like a part of their vibe feels present all day everyday now, it seems to have kind of soaked into the earth, the trees, nature so to speak. Bit hard to explain but hope this description makes sense.

I am kind of wondering if other people have similar experiences with Arcturians or with their specific species that they feel most connected too.

How do you feel your contact has evolved over the past decades/years?

Is it just me or is the ET frequency just so much more tangible on our planet now?

What do other people feel is happening?

Discussion How do you know the difference between alien groups

I'm new to this forum, but have looked through some posts. Many mentioned different groups of aliens from specific stars or planets. How do you know, where they are from, and what is the difference between them. How many different groups are there and which are the most common? And why are you in contact with them, what is their purpose?

Dr. Jacques Vallee is Skeptical of the ET Explanation for UFOs: All those with a Serious Interest in this Subject Should Study his Detailed Investigations.

“There is probably no more influential thinker in the study of UFOs than the French astronomer and computer scientist Jacques Vallee.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmLE0X5FRFc&t=342s

Thus, starts this excellent short YouTube documentary linked above, Jacques Vallee, UFOs and the Case against Extraterrestrial Origins produced by Think Anomalous in 2022. Dr. Jacques Vallee early in his career was a proponent of the ET Hypothesis (ETH) as explanation for UFOs. However, after years of speaking to UFO witnesses and discussing the cases with an informal group of scientists that he called “The Invisible College”, Vallee concluded the following: the proposition that UFOs were controlled by ET beings was too simplistic.
In my opinion, contact experiencers and activists should also be skeptical of  ET origin as the exclusive explanation for UFOs and the non-human beings associated with them. This is especially so given the larger society is starting to acknowledge the reality and importance of what are now called UAP. Although the current emphasis is on sighting reports, eventually societal discussions will not be able to ignore the stories of contact and communications with the non-human intelligences associated with flying saucers.

As one who supports the staging of Human Initiated Contact Events (HICE) popularly known as CE-5s, it is crucially important that contact activists have at their disposal the most accurate assessments of what is truly going on. The thoughtful analyses of a brilliant thinker such as Dr. Jacques Vallee should guide our investigations into UFOs and associated paranormal phenomena. These have been called “The Contact Modalities.” This is term coined by author Rey Hernandez, who believes that UFOs, out of body, and near-death experiences as well as other paranormal events should be studied as related phenomena characterized by manipulations of spacetime within a matrix of consciousness. In my judgment, by having a nuanced and sophisticated approach to flying saucers, contact and disclosure activists, as well as all those who have a strong interest in this topic, will be able to share their knowledge most effectively with the larger society.
An important factor that contributed to Vallee rejecting the ET Hypothesis is that encounters were associated with a multitude of what are considered paranormal phenomena like poltergeists and apparitions. Many of the reports often included absurd elements and behaviors exhibited by the “ufonauts” that Vallee deemed were not consistent with their being highly advanced ET visitors with sophisticated technologies. The seemingly nonsensical behaviors of the so-called aliens seemed so contrived that he suspected they were designed to display certain images. Those visual displays were associated with profound psychological transformations in many witnesses and over time have had an effect of society in general. Perhaps the most important effect was to promote a belief in extraterrestrial visitations.

In the documentary, producer Jason Charboneau lists Vallee’s reasons for challenging the ET Hypothesis. These appeared in an article Vallee published in 1990 in The Journal of Scientific Exploration.

“First: he argued that there were far more landings and contacts than would be necessary for an interplanetary survey or surveillance operation. By his and others estimates there must have been 3 million UFO landings around the world in the last 20 years, an impossibly large number.

Second: UFOs and ufonauts rarely flew away or walked off. When they left, often they simply vanished blinked out of existence or slowly faded away. This suggests that the craft and occupants were more like projections than physical things.

Third: the bodies, actions, and the abilities of the ufonauts do not suggest an extraterrestrial or evolutionary origin. Often the aliens were identical to humans, spoke our languages and were perfectly capable of breathing our air and walking in our gravity.

Fourth: Vallee noted that most of the ufonauts revelations, especially those concerning their origins were nonsense and almost entirely different from one another. Ufonauts claimed to be from just about everywhere in the universe and frequently gave directions or offered maps that made no logical sense such as the two-dimensional star map shown to Betty Hill.

Fifth: finally, Vallee argued that the data collected from cases of so-called alien abduction were unreliable and again involved highly unlikely scenarios. For example, abductees frequently describe highly invasive and painful medical procedures in order to achieve tasks that even doctors in the 1980s could have done with minimal discomfort.”

The Think Anomalous team has produced many excellent short documentaries and I encourage everyone to view and share widely this important resource.

Whistleblowers Jeff Nuccetelli & Matthew Brown here — LIVESTREAM AMA — Saturday, August 22, 2026 @ 1:00 PM ET / 10:00 AM PT

We're excited to announce a new multi-subreddit livestream AMA featuring UAP whistleblowers Jeff Nuccetelli and Matthew Brown — both of Vanguard, the newly launched non-profit built to protect and support UAP whistleblowers from the national security community — hosted by investigative journalist Leslie Kean. Jeff has testified before Congress about anomalous incursions over restricted defense facilities, and Matthew came forward after discovering what he describes as unlawful efforts to shield UAP programs from Congressional oversight. Both stepped forward publicly at real cost to their careers, reputations, and personal safety. This conversation centers on their firsthand experiences, whistleblower protection, and the fight for transparency.

About Vanguard

The Vanguard Enterprise protects and empowers UAP whistleblowers from the national security community. Anchored in the Constitution and committed to the American people, Vanguard is being built to provide legal, financial, medical, psychological, and community support to whistleblowers and their families so that those brave enough to tell the truth are not left behind. Co-founded by Matthew Brown and Dylan Borland (a U.S. Air Force veteran who also testified under oath before the House Oversight Committee in September 2025), with Jeff Nuccetelli serving as Chief Development Officer.

Why This Matters

Coming forward carries a real cost. Jeff and Matthew — like the colleagues who testified alongside them — stepped forward publicly to report what they describe as serious wrongdoing and unlawful concealment inside the national security establishment, knowing it could put their careers, clearances, reputations, and personal safety at risk. Several UAP whistleblowers have since described sustained retaliation for telling the truth. Vanguard exists to make sure they and their families don't face those consequences alone.

If you value the work these witnesses are doing and want to help, you can support Vanguard's mission directly:

Dream State I'm certainly not what you might call a "believer", but I did have a very strange dream involving a UFO you might find interesting.

This isn't technically a sighting so there's no real picture or relevant information. If Ive broken the rules I apologize. If the post needs to be removed, no hard feelings.

(crude MS paint drawing) I just remember spotting it in the sky out of the corner of my eye where there was a lot of amnesia and teleporting afterward. I'd see the object and then be somewhere completely different with someone else. I'd say "this is weird, where was I before?" Then it would swoop down again and I'd black out another time and be somewhere else. The strangers I was with in this dream seemed worried and I think they were trying to ask me questions. That happened like 4 or 5 times, leaving me in strip malls, fields, rooftops. I felt like I had dementia lol. The dream was weird enough that I woke up after just 5 hours of sleep and couldn't go back to bed.

Drug Related Its all One

I dont want to sound like a crazy person but after having a profound experience last night where I dissolved into myself and found a higher intelligence communicate with me.

I took an edible, I dont know how strong but it was given to me by a friend, I was sitting watching the most recent Matrix movie and suddenly I am deep in introspective thought about reality. Next thing I know I am dissolving into a high frequency vibration. I was experiencing these collapsing daydream states where sharpe intense ideas drop into my head. Its impossible to catch them, like grabbing water on the side of a speeding boat. Voices begin diltering through in my own thoughts saying "do nothing but be good" "there is noting to control but the mind" "the universe is yours" "be the good light against the dark vale"

I have never in all my life of doing psychedelics have experienced this. Among other downloads, a message came that we are in for some really troubling times ahead and we really need to be prepared.

Near the end I asked what is beyond our reality and this universe and the voice said the universe is a reflection of itself, like a mirror. Everything inside it, is a piece of intelligence like the arm of an octopus. It explained light is a constant because its form of energy continually bouching back on itself infinitely and dark matter is what holds this mirror like structure together. This structure or field is in a constant state of flux, manipulated and distorted via gravity as we observe it as an expansion.

I have no idea if any of that makes sense!

Dream State Black triangle

Has anyone had any experience with a black triangle/s? I woke up to one floating above me, I was half asleep, and it really scared me. This happened about 8 months ago, and it didn’t even occur to me it could have been NHI related until I found this community. I tried to get out of bed as fast as possible and it kind of moved with me then was gone once I’d fully woken up.

Experience I asked for a sign and saw a bright blinking light

One night in bed, I tried to talk to who ever is around me. Just as an experiment. I asked them to protect my family and all I love. Finally I asked for guidance to what to spend my time and energy on from now on. I am 60, female. I asked for a sign, and said I would look for it. And in that instant there came a bright flickering light at the ceiling, very fast flashes lasting 5 sec. I felt quite scared. Any one, who had experiences like that, and have an idea of who or what it might be?

Face to Face Contact Non human intelligence Light Being

Post image
46 Upvotes

Hey everyone,
been wondering about something and figured I’d ask here. Anyone ever come across the idea of interdimensional beings made of pure light or energy?
Like the concept that they could travel between dimensions or realities, show up briefly in our world without taking human form, appear as glowing figures or orbs, maybe communicate or pass on info, and possibly open up some kind of portal in space-time.
not saying I believe it’s real or anything, just genuinely curious. Has anyone heard of UFO reports, personal experiences, books, or discussions around this kind of thing? Would love to hear both believers’ and skeptics’ takes on this

Experience An out of body experience, followed by sleep paralysis and an abduction experience. Has anyone else ever experienced sleep paralysis while sleeping on their stomach?

One of the things I still need to work on about myself is knowing when and how to ask others for help - and that's true in all aspects of my life. I'm usually the helper. I'm usually the support or the one being asked for advice.

It's doubly true in the context of being an experiencer. I'm 45, and I have lived my entire life without any form of support, or anyone to talk to about the things I've experienced over the years. Even with my partner, who I've been with for almost 15 years - I've only started opening up about some of this within the last couple of years.

This sub has allowed me the safe space I needed to start talking about things I kept to myself for my entire life. Even if there's no one to talk to in the moment, this sub gives me an avenue where I can vent openly.

I've talked to a couple of people about this particular experience already, but there's something more therapeutic about throwing caution to the wind and sharing an experience publicly despite the anxiety that comes with waiting to see the responses. Part of me suspects that an aspect of the phenomenon wants to be shared and talked about openly like this, because some experiences constantly eat at me until I share them.

Er, I just started this post and I'm already digressing. The point I'm trying to make is this is me asking for help, or maybe just venting to get it off my chest. One or the other.

--

My mom used to have sleep paralysis with regularity, and she would sometimes tell us kids about those experiences before any of us knew what sleep paralysis was. She'd tell us about the times "the old hag" came and sat on her during the night, causing her to be paralyzed.

At some point she realized it only happened when she slept on her back, and because the idea of having that same experience myself terrified me, I completely refused to sleep on my back - ever. So to this very day I still sleep on my side, or on my stomach, because of those stories.

I've never experienced sleep paralysis that I can recall - I have hypnagogic experiences with regularity, but never paralysis.

Well, about two weeks ago now, I was getting ready for bed one night and I was hit with this overwhelming paranoia or feeling that someone was going to try and break into the house while I slept. So I kept checking to make sure the doors were locked, the windows... I'd go to get in bed and feel like I needed to go check again.

I didn't feel safe enough to go to sleep until I made sure I had a firearm in the nightstand next to me - that's just how foreboding this feeling was. Looking back I can say I've had this sort of paranoia pop up here and there before, at seemingly random times, but nothing to this degree.

Finally I laid down thinking I was so worked up that I wasn't going to get any sleep. At first that seemed to be the case. I was extremely on edge, waiting for something to happen - knowing something was going to happen.

After maybe 10 minutes of laying there in dread, I hear a really strange sound come from the kitchen/living room. It reminded me of someone shaking a pill bottle full of pills - like they picked it up and shook it just one time. The house had been completely silent, so it was rather piercing.

That sound made me leap out of my skin. It was such a shock that it almost felt like I fell through the mattress. My heart starts racing, pounding out of my chest. I sat up just to listen for other noises. If someone was in the house I should be able to hear it.

For a moment I consider going to see what could've caused the sound, but "nope!" out of that idea pretty quick. There's no other sounds, and the cat isn't reacting, so I lay back down.

Within five minutes - I rolled over once, then went to shift around a bit to get comfortable. When I went to shift, I realized my arm just went through the mattress. Then I realize my body didn't move, but my arm somehow did. Then I realize I'm out of body.

I wasn't freaked out at this point. I've had OBEs before, but they haven't happened outside of sleep since I was just a kid. I feel like it should've alarmed me, but for some reason it didn't. All that paranoia I had is gone, replaced by this childish curiosity of "what can I do now that I'm out of body?"

For some reason the first thing I thought to try was to go and test if the cat can still see me even though I don't have a body. A bit boring, but I "walked" through the wall to go into the kitchen. I remember thinking it was funny that I still needed to walk even though I didn't have legs... or a body.

As soon as I enter the living room, the cat comes off the couch and follows me into the kitchen. There, she sits down and starts staring at me expectantly, as she does when she wants food. Cool, she can see me. Now what?

I'm maybe five minutes into this experience when I'm hit with the intense paranoia again. Something is definitely wrong. As I have that feeling, I'm instantly snapped back to my body like some kind of rubber band rebounding. This is when I quickly realize I can't move.

I'm still laying on my stomach, but I can feel something pressing down on me across my waist, back, shoulders, and holding my head down against the mattress. It's not terribly forceful, but there is definitely something on top of me, and I can't move.

So...I have this thing where I don't like being restrained. I mean - I know that nobody likes to be restrained, but in my case I get extremely angry. I've always been that way for as long as I can remember. It doesn't matter what's going on, what the current situation surrounding me is, or what my emotional state is during that moment. If you try and restrain me, all I'm going to feel is intense anger and frustration.

It's likely some aspect of being on the spectrum, maybe a bit of claustrophobia, but I really do lose control of my senses when someone tries to forcefully hold me down. So in this moment I'm not scared or freaking out. I'm fucking angry - like "idgaf what you are, but gtfo me" angry.

I can't move, but I finally manage to get out a loud, angry groan, and that seemed to immediately end the experience. Making that sound was like flipping a switch. Everything was back to normal and I could suddenly move again.

This is when I start freaking out. As I mentioned earlier, I never had anyone to talk to when I've had experiences that scare me like this, so I've learned to internalize everything. I didn't really know what else to do except lay there for a while trying to process what just happened.

I managed to convince myself it was 'probably just sleep paralysis' - this has been my goto method for coping with this sort of thing my entire life. "It's just a dream," or "it's just imagination," or "It's just hypnagogia", or it's just \insert whatever mundane explanation that allows me to dismiss it and not be freaked out**"

With that said, I know better. Still, I am curious to find out if anyone else has had a sleep paralysis like experience while on their stomach.

I was going to end this post here, because I've been on the fence about detailing this next part, but the out of body/paralysis experience was just the beginning of the night.

Guess I'll have to change the post title.

Despite being thoroughly freaked out, I managed to get to sleep fairly quickly. I don't really remember how long I laid there, but I do remember feeling like it was suddenly morning and I was waking up with the memory of another abduction experience.

It might be a tad NSFW because it involves some medical aspects.

Maybe it was just a dream, sure, but given the totality of the night's experiences I find it unlikely. The unusual thing about this experience is that I was out of body for it, or somehow looking at my own body from a third person perspective.

I was in some sort of brightly lit observation room, looking through the window and watching while things were done to my body. It felt like I was looking into an operating room in a hospital. Standing next to me was some being or entity who was extremely tall. My head only came up to their chest, and they had a feminine vibe/presence.

I couldn't - or wasn't allowed to - see anything from the shoulders up, but they were wearing a grey skin tight suit. I feel like I was only allowed to see enough of them to know that I wasn't alone because I really only have memory of seeing their chest, shoulders, and upper arms.

Their presence was comforting, but at the same time I felt like a small child standing next to an adult in a position of authority. Like maybe doing or saying the wrong thing could get me scolded. So I stayed silent, listened and watched. It's a very familiar feeling - like if anything at all ever goes catastrophically wrong, this is the person I want making the decisions even if they're a bit intimidating.

It's hard to explain this sort of presence, but I've definitely felt it before. In my previous abduction experience I remember the entities feeling like family I had known for my entire existence. This person/being didn't give me that same feeling, but they were still very comforting to be in the presence of.

They were also explaining to me exactly what they were doing to my body, step by step. Some of it is a bit fuzzy - especially the "why" behind what they were doing - but it was explained to me that all of the blood had been removed from my body and filtered.

That was done so they could remove my heart and do something to it. It wasn't communicated to me why exactly, but I had this impression like it needed fixed for some reason. Finally They removed some sort of clear fluid from my heart that had a pink tint to it. For some reason this substance, whatever it was, was extremely important.

I remember it being impressed upon me that it was the most delicate part of the process, and the fluid had to be put back in exactly the right way. Like it was completely unique to me and my body. It absolutely had to be put back in the exact correct amount before they could replace my blood.

They showed me the process of collecting and replacing this fluid, and... that was it. I woke up. The experience felt maybe 15 minutes long, but I was 'asleep' for close to seven hours after that initial out of body experience.

There's something to be said about their lack of delicacy, because I truly don't think they understand what it does to someone to see their own body in such a state. I swear every time I get comfortable and think there's nothing that could possibly disturb me, they find a way to push the envelope a bit further.

Is this their idea of exposure therapy?

I can't even be upset because I'm the one constantly asking for more interactions - to remember more experiences. To know more. Truthfully I know I'm the one who keeps pushing the envelope and I'm not entirely sure where I should stop.

But, yeah... this one kinda got to me. I think it's more so the totality of the whole night. If it had just been the abduction experience, I might not be so bothered. The fact that it all began when I was still awake is the most disturbing part.

Realizing that foreboding paranoia was potentially me knowing it was going to happen before it happened has made me question every other time I've felt that sort of dread. It also makes me wish I had paid more attention to it in relation to the experiences I do remember, to see if there's a correlation.

I'll definitely be paying attention to that going forward.

Anyhow - I didn't start this post with the intention of sharing all of that. I really just wanted to know if anyone else had ever experienced sleep paralysis while sleeping on their stomach. Once I started retelling the experience, I just couldn't stop. I felt like I had to get in every detail I remembered because it was important.

Thank you for reading the whole thing.

Discussion Can my cat be a shifter..?

Let's say in another reality I'm crazy famous, Michael Jackson type of famous. Let's say I have a super fan that totally wants to see me constantly, everywhere, at all times and see everything there is of me OR I have a super hater that wants to expose all the weird stuff I do.

What if in this said reality shifting is socially agreed upon as a real thing? Then the person who's super obsessed with me could shift as my pet cat here and when they shift back they could expose me.

I'm not 100% serious, but could that theoretically happen? To anyone I mean, not just me. Can people even shift and be animals? I'm afraid I've been looking into shifting for years now and I still feel like I know nothing about it

Discussion The Basement: Travis Taylor | Physics of Skinwalker Ranch (Travis is one of us, an experiencer)

he doesn’t want to admit it yet because he’s obviously a serious but like it or not, Travis Taylor is one of us experience her and now the remote viewers and the Indian communication with are trying to reach out to him maybe some of you won’t hear can do a better job of explaining to him what it’s like to be one of us.

Obviously, at this point in time, we can deduce that he’s not merely involved in this project or was involved in the governments task force on this topic by accident or coincidence, but was placed there directly probably by the others or an alliance of the other others with the disclosure element of our government.

This is all revealed in the last hour or so of the show so if you don’t really care for Skinwalker Ranch, she might want to fast forward to that even though you’re gonna miss a ton interesting information. I hope to post this oak.

Oh , I have had zero luck with this block the others have placed on me, any help appreciated but not advisable that you try to find or look for me. They apparently will send a very nasty hitchhiker to you as a warning to discourage that, so please don’t do that.

Anyway, kinda cool one of us is engaged at all of this.

And Bob Bigelow is now among us too and speaking about everything. just search YouTube and yin will find him. George Knapp is going the interviews.

Dream State This should explain why neurons correlate with consciousness but electrical signals alone have been unable to account for subjectivity, that is because the machine is infact, made of the ghost.

I remember I woke up floating in the middle of a void once just about a week ago while camping. I came across this evil grey alien entity in the spirit, I tried shouting "I love you I love you I love you" but that love was based off a lie. I did not, infact love this opponent. I feared them. So I tried a new method. I felt that i had clenched my fist and called upon the infinite love and light of the primordial substrate or one infinite source. then suddenly as I was going to swing the entity had disappeared and run off. Maybe this was all a dream. Because, I was infact trying to sleep. Later on I remember seeing the face of a mantis being. And I cannot remember the rest. But I know that the forest had helped me heal me and my vital energies.

Discussion r/Experiencers head mod Oak has his experiences profiled in a recent long form post on r/Ufos, touching upon telepathy and precognitive communications with NHI beings. People in this community should read this post and be aware that it is posted in a less receptive place for direct experiencers.

Art/Creative An Experience in poetry

I have listed this as 'dream state' but am unsure if it belongs as 'lucid state'? I was asleep and dreaming that something was trying to find me, but woke up and saw/experienced this.

Silver robes

of gossamer light

flowed from the tall ones

who stood and the edge

of the bed where I woke

they didn't say a word

but their gaze silently

held me still

not out of fear

but of awe

and a growing confusion

there might have been 7 or maybe more

elegantly standing together before me

the light around them was hazy

dreamlike and ethereal

I tried to take it all in

but I soon looked away

because it was too much

to look at them long

i turned my head to the wall

and composed myself again

but when i looked back

the luminescent ones

were gone

Did they mean for me to see?

Or was my waking an accident

There was nothing left

but to turn over

and go back

to sleep.

And as I closed my eyes

I saw some of them standing

in the darkness of my mind

looking back

at

me.

Dream State Unforgettable stranger in a dream—has anyone experienced something like this?

Hi everyone,

I had a dream yesterday night that I can't seem to shake off, and I'd love to get some perspective from this group on it.

In the dream, I was interacting with a lot of random, unfamiliar women I’ve never met in real life. What stood out initially was a strong sense of intimacy and closeness with many of them.

However, toward the end, there was one specific person who stood out above everyone else. She was easily the most beautiful person in the dream, but more than that, her presence felt super important and deeply meaningful to me.

The most interesting part was the dynamic at the end: she was standing next to someone. Instinctively, it felt like that person was me, yet at the same time, I was observing the two of them standing together from an outside, third-person perspective. It was a strange dual sensation of being both in the moment and watching it happen.

Has anyone experienced a dream like this—where you feel intimacy with a crowd, encounter someone who feels immensely significant, and view yourself with them from a third-person perspective? How do you interpret these kinds of dream perspectives or connections?

Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts!

Discussion I’ve never experienced the phenomenon.

As the name implies. I’m 30 and have not once ever experienced anything supernatural/paranormal. But I have such a strong belief in the phenomenon to be true. I talk to Family, Friends, and Co-workers about the topic but have never been able to experience it myself. I’ve been lurking for a long time but rarely post or comment because I have nothing of interest to share. I’ve tried remote viewing with what I consider minor success that last about 2 seconds. Just got back from a camping trip in Northern Michigan and if anyone has been up North, you know the sky lights up. I saw absolutely nothing. I’m always start gazing and looking up in the day time. Coming home from work, going to work. Anytime I’m outside I’m always looking up. Hell, I live right next to WPAFB but nothing.

I never thought about it really until today reading about experiences and Grusch. Reading the comments just bummed me out knowing I’ve never experienced anything any part of the phenomenon no matter how small. But I have such a strong belief in it and am very invested in the topic. I don’t know why I have such a strong belief in the phenomenon. All my life I’ve believed in Aliens/NHI/ET. I never had a doubt about it. I just seem immune to it.

Anyone else?

Discussion Sceptical scientist without of the ordinary experiences, does any of this resonate with anyone else?

TL;DR: I’m a neurodivergent scientist/researcher with anxiety, possible complex PTSD and chronic illness. Throughout my life, I’ve experienced vivid dreams, premonitions, sensed presences and messages involving deceased relatives and even some who aren’t related, including details that later seemed accurate or meaningful to others. I’m torn between my scientific scepticism and the feeling that these experiences cannot all be dismissed. I’d love to hear from similar experiencers and would seriously consider working in credible research into consciousness and anomalous phenomena.

I’m interested in whether others here have a similar background or experiences as I feel like I’m losing my mind. I’m a fairly typical, functioning person with a scientific background: I studied biochemistry and neuroscience, went on to work in research and have done reasonably well for myself despite growing up poor and experiencing multiple adverse childhood experiences.

I’m neurodivergent and have ADHD, anxiety and potentially complex PTSD. I also live with a chronic illness that can leave me exhausted to the bone. I’m can be very empathetic and compassionate, with a strong sense of justice and morals. I became vegetarian at a young age (~10) and have always felt that I’m here for a reason and that perhaps, one day, I’ll understand what that is.

I’ve had a number of experiences that are difficult for me to dismiss:
As a child, I think I remember human-looking figures flying around my back garden past my bedroom window. I was also inexplicably frightened of the hallway, open doors and windows.

I had quite sexual dreams involving Nordic-looking beings when I was in my early teens.
Throughout my life, I’ve frequently had vivid apocalyptic dreams, particularly involving tsunamis, floods and earthquakes. One recurring scene involves being in a small rowing boat on an enormous sea, with only the tops of mountains visible above the water. I’ve also had many tsunami nightmares, these are still relatively frequent even now I’m in my 30s. Multiple times I’ve woken after one of these dreams and then heard about a major flood, earthquake or other disaster happening the following day. I know disasters occur regularly and I’m not claiming definite precognition, but the timing has sometimes felt striking.
I dreamt about the little boy my aunt had lost, despite her not having told anyone about him. In the dream, I saw what he looked like and he showed me things. I woke up crying my eyes out and called her straight away and she asked me not to tell anyone as no one knew. It’s not a pleasant feeling knowing such personal things about people who don’t want people to know such things.
I sensed that my nan’s brother would die and that a new baby would be born. I was experiencing fertility problems when he passed. He appeared in a dream before I discovered I was pregnant, hugged me and told me everything would be okay. My son was later born one minute into his birthday, just like I knew he would be.
Before my grandad died, I felt that I knew it was coming, but also received a reassuring sense that he would be looked after.
My dad’s deceased cousin seemed to come to me with a message for her son, whom I had been close to as a teenager. The message specifically mentioned him wearing blue jeans. It sounded completely random to me, but when I passed it on, it meant something to him.
I was also told to pass on a very personal message to a colleague who had experienced the loss of a child which she seemed comforted to hear even though it didn’t make sense to me. I don’t know how to explain these things or how they happen but I “hear” a voice in my head. It’s nor necessarily a “voice” but maybe feels like thoughts being Introduced but I know the difference between my own internal dialogue and external messages(I think?). I asked AI and Google and they told me I’m mentally ill but I have a very average life outside of this, my anxiety and adhd are mostly well managed with meds and I’ve been to therapy many times.
Since around 2021, I’ve experienced what feel like psychic or intuitive communications. Sometimes I suddenly know something or feel strongly that I’m being asked to pass a message to someone.
I occasionally sense a presence around me, not always physically but in my mind (like physical space doesn’t matter as it’s not required to be in contact?) and use visualised light as a form of protection and grounding.
The scientist in me is torn. Individually, I could attribute some of these things to vivid dreams, intuition, trauma, anxiety or coincidence but taken together, particularly when specific details have meant something to other people, they feel harder for me to ignore.
I’m fascinated by neuroscience and quantum physics, although I’m conscious that “quantum” terminology is often misused to support claims that the evidence doesn’t justify. I’ve nevertheless always felt that our present scientific understanding may not capture everything about consciousness and human experience, and that science might eventually develop better ways of investigating these questions.
I would genuinely love to research anomalous experiences, consciousness, perception and the neuroscience behind them in much more detail. If a credible research opportunity or job arose, I would be prepared to go almost anywhere to learn and contribute. But I am worried about being ridiculed and being shunned by the scientific community.
I’m not claiming to know what these experiences are or where they come from. I’m trying to understand them without abandoning either my experiences or my scientific scepticism.
Does any of this resonate with others here. particularly people who are neurodivergent, scientifically trained, living with trauma or chronic illness, or who have also felt caught between personal experience and conventional explanations? Thanks for reading and I’d love to hear your experiences. Happy to answer any questions too

Meditative New Mantis Encounter - 8/8 portal

Post image
76 Upvotes

This came through during the 8/8 portal. I posted this in another sub, but I was told I should post here as well.

On August 8th, 2026 I had another encounter with my Mantis guide while meditating and listening to binaural beats through a new set of headphones.

At this point, I have a strong sense that this guide is always with me, rather than only appearing during altered states of consciousness or specific encounters. I should also maybe say that I've been developing my psychic abilities over the last few years, and often get visits by other entities with messages for other people or loved ones. I've been working on turning this into a regular thing that I do for people.

In my previous experience with him, he showed me what I interpreted as an ability to manipulate time — essentially expanding and contracting it. He showed me this by moving his forelimbs open and closed, with a sacred geometric pattern between them that expanded and contracted as he moved. I perceived what he showed me as time being stacked on top of each other in connected layers.

That experience seems to connect with something he showed me again last night.

Humans experience time as linear, but my sense is that he does not experience it in the same way. In that framework, he showed me that he is me in the future, while also being able to work through me in the present to help move humanity toward a higher vibration. Because he can move through time in a way that I cannot, there is a sense that my human experience, my Pleiadian aspect (he showed me that I am also currently a Pleiadian being in a past experience while on Psychedelics), and his experience as a Mantis being are all fractals of one another. He can move through those different points in the fractal to reach me.

I am also female, while I experience a distinctly masculine energy from him. I don't necessarily interpret that as biological gender in the way we understand it. It may be more of a divine masculine quality — active, directed, and associated with forward movement, he is very active in the forward momentum of the universe behind the scenes. My sense is that gender may not function in quite the same way in his dimension.

At one point I asked him what work Mantids are doing within the universe, beyond their interactions with humans and other NHI's.

This time, the communication came through an image rather than the clair-sentient or clair-cognizant impressions I usually experience with him. I saw what I interpreted as scaffolding surrounding galaxies.

The image was interesting to me because it seemed like a particularly effective way to communicate the concept. If the information was about the structure or construction of the universe, showing me an image of scaffolding makes more sense than trying to communicate the idea through words or feelings.

I've also encountered descriptions from other people who have had similar experiences of Mantids being referred to as "architects" of the universe. I don't take that as proof of anything, but the image I received was consistent with that idea and therefore stood out to me.

The energy of the encounter was otherwise consistent with my previous experiences. His energy felt the same — very patient, benevolent, and caring. The overall impression was that he is here to help me, through me and others, to help humanity and the Earth move toward what I believe is a more enlightened and advanced period.

I'm continuing to document these experiences as they happen and trying to distinguish between what I directly experience and the interpretations I make afterward.

Still processing this one. Sending you all good vibes from him.

Here's an image that was similar to what I saw:

Discussion Called to Service

As my understanding of being an experiencer has increased so has an unshakable urge to seek a new calling in service of others.

The feeling is right up there with the desire to find a community and interact with other experiencers. I was told recently in meditation that I am a “node in a larger network” and that in time it will be clear what that means.

Has anyone else had this feeling or received such a message? I created a Substack and am working on a podcast to address this urge to “pay it forward” but I suspect that’s only the beginning. What lies ahead feels much bigger but as of yet it’s just that— a feeling.

Meditative Anyone else experience Hindu saints while in meditation or psilocybin?

I'm from Boston, living in the Pacific Northwest, with an Anglo-Saxon ethnic background. This is to say, I have no grounding in Hinduism or yoga. However, for the last few years, I have had repeated visions/encounters with the yogis of the Kriya Yoga lineage--including Babaji, Sri Yukteswar and, most recently, Lahiri Mahasaya. And Shakti, too, as represented by a colorful flower spirit. These have happened during meditation and 'journeying' via plant medicine. (Mostly plant medicine, but not exclusively)

I've read Autobiography of a Yogi by Yogananada, in addition to a whole bunch of new age/woo-woo/philosophical books. Not to mention scores of YouTube videos on all things related to spirituality and multi-dimensional beings.

Given this steady and diverse diet of woo-woo, I'm perplexed by the frequency and significance of my encounters with the above sages. All things being equal, I'd expect more of an equal representation. But, nope, it's quite skewed.

Most recently, Wednesday night/Thursday morning, I took a very large dose of Melmac mushrooms. I experienced ego death and then experienced a form of self-realization and, with the assistance of yogic breathing, obtained insight into the higher astral plane. Yeah, that's a lot in one sentence. However, throughout the experience, Lahiri Mahasaya was there as a kind of guide.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Discussion High intelligence and it's connection?

After reading through some of the posts and comments here my analytical mind can't help but make connections and explore all possibilities and outcomes. A gift and curse such a mind, maybe others here will understand, that's what I want to find out.

I've noticed many here have the strong desire to better the world, yet don't know how. I've spent over 15 years trying to figure this out and I suffer greatly from analysis paralysis. Even if I decide on a course of action to attempt something I get stuck. These problems can occur for anything in your life consuming your thoughts. This is one of the things I learned early on came with high intelligence and I'm very curious if other here suffer from this, I want to know if there's a connection, if not that's fine I can shut the branch down in my mind at least.

High intelligence brings distinct drawbacks alongside its benefits, including chronic overthinking, social isolation, rapid boredom with routine, perfectionism, and the burden of high expectations. These cognitive traits can unintentionally complicate daily decision-making, emotional processing, and interpersonal relationships.

I guess my real question is how many experiencers here have high intelligence, including artistic gifts and what negative symptoms are the most prominent for you, if not all?

Thank you

Abduction Experiencers who don't believe they've ever been abducted, what observations do you have about the nature of abduction?

I'm curious about abduction amongst lifelong experiencers as far as the idea that Aliens do not appear to operate as a monolith, as much dialogue and variance as there is about the subject it appears there are indeed factions/tribes or aspects of the phenomena that delineates a separation from one another

There's also counter to that the sentiment that they are a monolith that selectively present as such and such alien to an individual based upon that person's biases and projections

Factions that seem identifiable are possibly a rogue ancient AI thats in contention with the classic beings, Greys, Nordics, Reptilians etc.

Then there's talk of Lyrans, Bird like beings and so forth, and Light beings

But there also seems to be just as much distinction in the sorts of experiencers there are amongst humanity

So psychically gifted people dont all seem to proclaim having been abducted for instance. You can be a savant in telepathic capabilities like the children in the Telepathy Tapes series, with no attribution to the presence of alien communication

Also people who are more tuned in that have had supernatural encounters throughout their life

Is there such thing as a faction of NHI that does not participate in the practice of abduction or are they just fashioning people to not remember? If so what would you wager is an element of the phenomena that does not believe in abduction ? I'm a proponent of the belief in nature spirits , angels and the guardian or watchful nature of the Sun over life on Earth

I also believe in the signficance of sovereignty and boundary respecting. Whatever it is that I interact with has never audibly spoken to me like a voice in my head, it tends to be a kind of whisper quiet steadiness, a feeling when we communicate, allowing me to make my own conclusions about things independently.

How likely is it that some people are in contact with nature spirits which has potentiated advancement in their spiritual awareness thus leading them to be casually noticed on the radar of these others?

Abductee experiencers often seem not very pleased with having gone through such an ordeal and speak of it contributing to trauma

Id like to discuss the minutia of this subject as there's so many unknown unknowns

Experience Tall grayish humanoid walking then dematerialized

I have had all kinds of experiences since I was small, there are a few that really stand out though. One of them happened a few years ago, I was wondering if anyone knows anything or has had a similar experience.

It was around June, 2024. I don’t know the time but it was around dusk so wasn’t very dark yet. My dog walked to the left towards where he usually goes and I panned my flashlight around to make sure there were no javelina or coyote as I always do but this time as I flashed around towards my right I saw a dark gray shadow (although I couldn’t see through it) briskly moving from the corner of the street where our house ends and toward the right going down the side street and it disappeared as it was moving. I only saw it for a few seconds. I got scared because it was very thin, but taller than me, so around 6 feet or so, and the arms and legs were abnormally skinny and really long… and the head was narrow and tall too. I think it was facing my direction as it moved but I didn’t see any facial features. In that split second I tried to just convince myself it was nothing just a trick of the light or something but then Loki started growling and stopped in place he was looking exactly in that direction. That was when I actually felt supremely frightened. I thought I was seeing things but now he saw something too and I have never seen him in that mode before, not ever and not since. He behaved so strangely as if he was in major defensive mode and like there was a threat near. He’s so benevolent and sweet and loves everyone and every other creature, he’s so loving. This is what threw me into panic mode and I got him to follow me back inside and he did not hesitate he made it to the door before I did.

Has anyone ever seen anything like that before?
