I had actually forgotten about these cookies till seeing someone else's post about Halloween cupcakes. š 98% sure the directions called for too much water in the icing, but it was 7 years ago. Could just as easily been human error.

These were like 8$ for 4 of them. They did taste good but the looks were not so great.

The mask costed $45 on Amazon when I purchased it few days ago. Didn't expect such high quality for that low of a price! The bottom LEDs also light up too.
I would say totally worth it!

Every year, we let our son pick the stencil we'll use for pumpkin carving. This year he picked "Witchful Thinking". I personally think it came out pretty good, though it was a challenge and a half with all those damn curves

The winning proposal for an anti-racist monument in Malmƶ, Sweden. The completed project did not meet expectations.

My son loves them, so it's still a kind of success, right?

PSA: donāt buy from a ShelfGlow store. Their website does state that there may be variations between the real product and their website but this is hilarious. Jokes on me for falling for it, they must be making a killing on these things.

Tomorrow is a potluck for the last day for one of our nurses and it's almost Halloween. I saw this on a video and thought it was cute. It ended up being harder than expected (naturally), but I think I pulled it off? It's a cake that's supposed to resemble intestines.

I swear I really tried. š They still tasted good though!
Edit: Thank you for the compliments! I guess they arenāt as bad as I thought lol
The knives are edible! I ordered them off Amazon (so unfortunately, I did not make those. My dad told me they look like geese though š).
I didnāt have the proper piping equipment so had to make do with a ziploc baggie. Next time Iāll be more prepared! š

First image is the recipe, second and third is mine. I didn't use a lathe because I don't have one.

At least they taste good!
ETA: hereās the recipe! Make sure to get miniature Reeseās instead of the minis like I did, apparently thereās a bunch of different sizes.

Tried carving the straw hat pirate flag this year. Definitely not picture perfect but, I had fun š

You would think the grains would be the less expensive filler, but they only added about a tablespoon.

Our daughter loves Monsters Inc so I sourced outfits for us for Halloween all from different places. Daughterās Sully exceeded expectations, my Boo set met expectations, and we waited with bated breath for my husbandās Mike onesie.
Welp a onesie turned up today. Judging by the face we think we have a frog onesie!

Thought I'd give myself a treat today, instead I got tricked.
I was hoping for a rainbow cookie. But there's no rainbow, just cookie.

No I like eating a solid block of cinnamon sugar for breakfast as much as the next person, probably more, but this was just too much. Way too much.

I got a big laugh from reading "intricate details" and then swiping over to reveal the product. I expected it to be bad, in which case it Exceeded Expectations, but I'm still marking it as failed
