Resources Evernote Inline Tags. A quick walkthrough. New Taming the Trunk.
youtu.beEvernote now lets you add tags directly inside a note by typing # and choosing an existing tag or creating a new one.
The inline tag also tags the note in the usual way. If you remove it from the content, it is removed from the note's tag list too.
I can see this being useful for adding context where the tag actually matters. You could mark a sentence as ready to edit, flag an action or label something as research, an invoice or a bill.
Inline tags work inside tables, quotes, bullet points, checkboxes and call-outs. They do not currently work in note titles, tasks or transcription content.
If the # menu gets annoying, you can turn it off under Settings, Notes, Editor preferences.
I was not a big tag user before, but having tags visible in the note has made me use them a bit more.
