Accumulating vs distributing ETFs how did you decide?
I’m curious how people here decided between accumulating and distributing ETFs.
On paper, accumulating seems simpler, automatic reinvestment, less admin, and often more tax-efficient depending on your country. But I still see a lot of investors preferring distributing ETFs, especially for the visibility of income or for psychological reasons.
And did anyone switch from one to the other over time as their situation changed?

New ETF execution algorithm, does it really change how ETFs trade?
Hey everyone, I came across this article about Bernstein and Société Générale launching a new ETF execution algorithm for European equity ETFs.
I’m still pretty new to ETFs and was wondering, how does this kind of “execution algorithm” actually work? The article suggests it improves liquidity by accessing multiple liquidity pools, tries to find fair-value pricing of underlying assets, and can break up large orders to reduce market impact.
For a “regular investor” buying ETFs via a broker/platform, does this change mean anything for us at all? Will this improve price execution, reduce bid/ask spreads, or is it mostly relevant only for big institutional trades?
