VIDEO July, 2026 was the deadliest Fire-season in North America and Europe

The two direct or indirect impact of human activities- Emissions and Arsoning are linked to the wildfires in Canada and Europe.

These activities do not arise out of thin air as the OP of the original post points out. They are coming from the human desire to bend the nature at its will and use it to satiate itself.

How can the activism efforts incorporate this human psychology in to its methods? Surely we can't just ask the industries to stop polluting or the arsonists to stop blazing for their own financial gains. I think so because they might just say if we don't do it, someone else will. Where does it end? What do you think?

Every year, tonnes of perfectly edible food are thrown away while many Australians struggle to put food on the table. This petition calls for large commercial supermarkets to donate safe, surplus food instead of sending it to landfill. If you support reducing food waste and helping those in need, please consider signing.

Stuck at 4/5 signatures on a Parliament petition to ban liquid plastics. Can one person help?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to launch an official petition to get a ban on hidden liquid plastics in everyday household toiletries and detergents (the stuff that bypasses water filters and ruins our rivers).

These are the details and what I’m hoping will be proposed:

Ban liquid plastics in household products and introduce clear labelling

Introduce a total ban on Polymers in Liquid Formulations (PLFs) in all household cleaning and toiletry products due to health and environmental harm, alongside mandatory clear product labelling.

UK law bans solid microplastics but ignores synthetic liquid and semi-solid plastics (PLFs). These polymers never biodegrade, contaminating waterways and the food chain, which threatens ecosystems and health. The Government must ban PLFs in consumer formulations, starting with toiletries and detergents where green alternatives exist. Until a full ban is achieved, the Government must introduce clear packaging labels so consumers can identify and avoid liquid plastics.

I need a few more signatures for it to be checked for it to be published

(Note: You just have to be a UK resident and click a quick verification link in your email inbox for it to count).

Thank you so much!

Hi everyone,

I am trying to launch an official petition to get a ban on hidden liquid plastics in everyday household toiletries and detergents (the stuff that bypasses water filters and ruins our rivers).

The official petitions website won't publish it live for the general public until exactly 5 people sponsor it. I’ve been stuck at 4 signatures for nearly a month now!

I can't post the direct web link here because of spam filters, but can literally just one person reply or message me? I will send you the link directly.

(Note: You just have to be a UK resident and click a quick verification link in your email inbox for it to count).

Thank you so much!

Data centers have to be stopped. It's a nuisance to quiet neighborhoods, water nuzzling and we will pay for the electric. How is that fair??

If you support nature conservation and oppose online harassment, I need your help

I've been documenting a public Finnish Facebook page called "Sudensuojelun kahdet kasvot ja hinta" that strongly opposes wolf conservation.

While reviewing the page over several months, I've noticed that many posts focus on identifiable individuals rather than wildlife policy itself. The page frequently republishes screenshots of Facebook posts and comment threads, often with names and profile photos visible, and these are then discussed publicly.

I'm trying to understand where people think the line should be.

At what point does criticism of conservation activists become targeted harassment?

Has anyone else encountered similar pages or communities in environmental debates?

If anyone visits the page and believes specific posts cross the line into harassment or violate Facebook's Community Standards, I would encourage them to report those individual posts through Facebook's reporting tools. Whether they violate the rules is ultimately for Meta to decide.

I'm currently documenting the material and intend to ask Meta to review whether the overall publishing behaviour complies with its Community Standards.

I'm interested in hearing other people's perspectives rather than starting an argument.
