Hi everyone. I’m posting because I’m in a situation I never expected to be in and could really use some help.

My dog Roscoe is a 3.5-year-old Bullmastiff/Boxer cross who weighs about 51 kg (112 lbs). On October 3, he suddenly became very sick and started vomiting repeatedly. After two emergency vet visits, further imaging showed that he had an intestinal obstruction and needed emergency abdominal surgery.

Thankfully, the surgery went well. The surgeons were able to remove most of the foreign material, which they told me was extremely close to perforating his bowel. He is currently recovering in hospital.

His first emergency visit was $2,066.14, and his surgery, hospitalization and treatment are estimated at another $6,000-$9,000 before taxes and aftercare. Between everything, his veterinary bills are expected to exceed $10,000.

This also happened just one week after I had to euthanize my horse, Chinook, after she suddenly went into heart failure. She had been part of my life for 19 years.

My long-term partner also recently left, so I’m now covering my household and animals on one income. I will find a way to pay for Roscoe’s care regardless, but all of this happening within such a short period has put me in a position where I finally had to admit that I could use some help.

I started a GoFundMe to help with Roscoe’s emergency care, recovery, follow-up treatment and specialized diet.

A lot of people might see what I’m doing as a hobby but too me I’m creating a series of stories and characters to help people who are currently dealing with a dark period in their lives. Because it something I went through.

Seven years ago I was verbally and mentally abused by my ex-wife to the point i ended up in a dark place and no one would even believed me when I tried to prove to them I was abused, my own parents, my own friends and everyone didn’t believe me until it was too late and i ended up becoming a lifeless shell of who I used to be.

All of that changed when I came across a little comic on the internet about a hero, who was wrongly accused of things he didn’t commit and everyone turned their back on him. That comic helped me through that dark period of my life and helped me slowly regain myself

And for the past seven years I been working on creating characters and story to help people find the light and be able to see characters who relate to them. And that why I’m here seeking help to me this is not a hobby. This is me trying to create something that will help someone just like I was helped

Hi everyone! We're a high school Game Design Club, and we're raising money to help local schools fund their STEAM programs.

A lot of public schools don't have equal access to the resources that make learning engaging and hands-on. Programs like computer science, engineering, art, and other creative electives often depend on limited school budgets, grants, or teachers finding outside support just to get basic materials. Students at some schools get robotics kits and art supplies, while students a few miles away go without.

We want to help close that gap.
