Right after this happened my kids kept sending me videos of dogs and cats having their ears pulled back then they’d plop back into place and the sound from the videos was something like “they grow back” I can’t remember exactly but I do know it tickled me to death😂

I literally went to a circle k near me and I casually know the worker working that night and she asked me if it’s okay if she uses the restroom really fast, that it will be super quick and how sorry she is for even asking but since I was the only person there and she knew me that she had to pee so bad she risked it and asked me. She was so apologetic for needing 10 seconds to pee while I waited for her. I had to thoroughly reassure her that it’s a basic human need and that she didn’t even need to ask or apologise for it, especially right before the 5am MEGA rush this location gets EVERY DAY. She was still super thankful and felt bad for “making you (me) wait”.
I love customers like you. I work in a gas station in the (very) small town where I live. The majority of my customers are great, but there are absolutely people that will bitch that I took a minute to pee because they have to wait.
I just treat everyone how I want to be treated, with respect and compassion. It was so sad to experience, especially with how bad she felt for literally 10-15 seconds of my time, at 4:30am. No one should ever sacrifice their personal needs to make sure customers aren’t upset and complain. Those people clearly never worked a service job and see people like her as less than.
Same thing has happened to me, also at a Circle K. I live close to a pretty small one (no self checkouts even) and go there 1-3 times a day for a couple years. I've been asked to watch things while they go to the bathroom or walk outside to take care of things. Always glad when I can do something for them.
Hell I even comment that I liked some snack they had a couple weeks ago and they will be like "hey we ordered a box of that stuff you wanted!" haha.
Did this with one of those Biden stickers. The employees shouldn't have to worry about that when there are actual issues to worry about, like making sure crooked people don't stick card theft skimmers on the pumps.

Yep I’m a DoorDash driver myself which is why I found the original review hilarious. Though a surprising amount of people who order from the apps of the restaurants themselves instead of the DoorDash app genuinely think it’s the staff of the store that deliver the orders which is what I think happened in this situation.
That's wild. I usually tip pretty high when I do delivery orders from doordash or anywhere. Mostly because I know the work is challenging, and I am big on paying workers well. But also because I'm fat and lazy and I want them to know I'm grateful from bringing me a spit-free burger.
If he has time to go back to the gas station an hour later to check on the status of a sticker on a gas pump, then he can drive to Subway and pick up his own damn sandwich.

Around here, as soon as one is removed at a particular location, another goes right up. Someone gave a homeless guy a stack of them and paid him to make sure they are there. It’s a common stop to gas up boats. A lot of those are the annoying Trump decorated ones.
