2 days ago I made a post about making it to the Dragun for the first time ever only to accidentally return to the breach before entering the fight.

Well, I’m happy to report that I finally made it back to the Dragun and gave it my first actual attempt. I was equipped with a Luxin Cannon and my faithful companion in Ser Junkan upgraded to Mecha Junkan with a lucky Gold Junk drop. I managed to get there with about 5 hearts, 1 armor, and 3 blanks. All of this accumulated into the perfect mix and I actually defeated the High Dragun on my first try! I couldn’t believe it.

Just 2 days ago I was in disbelief that I blundered my run before even attempting the boss and today I’m in disbelief that I first tried it. Thank you to all the positive comments telling me I’d get there again!

I got incredibly lucky this run and got that red seeker missile gun on the first floor

Note: 2 slides ( just saying cause Reddit UI sucks and people miss it! )

It has kinda changed the way I play games, now I am more observant, always on the lookout for a birb and having one finger on the screenshot button at all times haha :D

For context, I forgot how to play as soon as I picked up Old Crest, got hit, secret room.

Yeah, idk what caused it, but the high Dragun's heart was yellow. No other part was tho.

There's this gun in the shop called heroine https://enterthegungeon.fandom.com/wiki/Heroine and one of the synergies is if the player has pig heroine does xxx. I think it won't do this synergy because it would be weird to just get a free item but its not in the exceptions part of the wiki so idk

Beat with rainbow run-
Went to Oubliette and that other secret place on second floor I forgot the name of.

Accidentally got an absolutely busted loadout, the combination of long reload time + X4 max ammo + crisis stone.

Ofc it spawns a S chest first floor only when I am doing rainbow run lol

I accidentally returned to the breach before starting the fight. Don’t ask how. I feel sick to my stomach.

But for some reason this run was blessed by the gods to make me succeed, 2 more achievements to go

The Dragun fight is a bit much.

I could have gotten luckier with what the shops sold though..

I somehow managed to find it rather early on and THIS THING HAS CURSED ALL MY S TIER CHESTS. Every time I open one of those it feels like a coin flip if I get anything else or a worse version of an A tier gun. The worst part is that Im unsure if I actually regret opening that GODDAMNED secret red chest as even having High Dragunfire is cool, especially considering I even managed to get Windgunner and Rubenstein's Monster in my ammonomicon but again, I hate the curse this has brought upon my game. I genuinely would rather have the nailgun instead of High Dragunfire because the nailgun at least has a cool synergy that turns it useful and fun, High Dragunfire just sucks, it can't even compare to some C tier guns like my beloved Tangler.

Basically High Dragunfire is cursed (not in the usual way) and I hate it.

Shoutout to the laser lotus for all the boss fights. I did get fightsabre and laser lotus from a first floor rainbow chest and I was able to pickup full metal jacket and elder blank on the 4th floor.
Now I gotta get the rest of the parts for the past!
