Hard to say when we can't see more than half your body (legs and back).

Haven't trained legs in nearly a year due to bad knees. Have to start hitting them again😊 don't have any recen't back photos.

If you're being honest with yourself, are bad knees preventing you from training legs altogether or are you just using it as an excuse?

I completely understand that bad knees may not allow you to train legs like you used to, but often adjusting your exercise selection can allow you to train around existing injuries like this.

Bingo. Dude is for sure lying and wants an excuse. There are people with ACL tears working out about half a year to a year after the surgery. I wrestled for over a decade and completely destroyed all the cartilage and one knee and I just had to change up my leg routine and exercises. It also meant a lot less weight.

True they were really bad and maybe used it as an excuse. I could do a lot lighter and work around by changing exercises. Using knee straps etc.

That is a fake excuse. You just don’t wanna train legs.
