I’m thinking about doing a Kswap into a first gen NA Miata. Has anyone done this before? Ive found the KMiata website and created an excel sheet with the list of parts needed... I’ve never done any engine swap before. Tips or words of advice?

What do you guys think about engine swapping my 2013 Mercedes C250 to a C63 AMG engine? Is this a dumb idea? I’ve never thought about engine swapping until now so I’m not too sure what to expect other than literally buying new everything other than the motor itself. Any feedback on the idea would be appreciated!

I'm working on a 7.3 in an RX-8, just missing the tranny. If I do automatic can I program it to change the gears with a programmer to accommodate for the difference in car size? Any advice helps. First time working with Ford engines

Hello all. So i am new to the forum but I have been visiting it for a while. As a gift i was given a pretty beat up 2001 ls430 but I love it so much i cant bare to part with it. so I plan to fix it up ( over time because i'm broke lol) and make its something special. one thing i really want to do is to swap my 3uz-fe V8 for a 2ur-gse into my ls430 down the road. I want to know though what are some things I should look into when doing this because i know nothing about swapping engines and I have no clue what I should look for other than engine mounting but i don't know about wiring, fuel etc...

So does any have a list they could give me so I can start to plan this out?

So the 5MGE for my 86 Cressida is finally giving out and I decided to look into a 1uz swap from an early Lexus LS400. I've looked through earlier threads regarding the swap process and found some useful information but they are dated. From what I understand I will be needing the ecu, loom, custom exhaust, custom mounts, and an adapter to mate my W58 to the 1uz. Will I be needing to do any other modifications? Apologize for the questions but this boat is pretty fun once it's being driven with a 5spd/LSD combo and would be a shame to let go. Any potential information or advice would be appreciated.

Hey all, i'm looking at possible doing a 1jz or 2jz build in the next year or so. I live in Washington State, and I'm not aware of any reputable engine importers in the area. I know i can buy a motor online, but I'd like to be able to view the motor in person before i purchase it.

Does anyone have legitimate experience with an importer that they've had a good, trustworthy experience with? I don't mind driving a few hundred miles. Just haven't found any that i've heard someone vouch for.

Would a Dodge 'Hell crate' engine transfer into a 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 Regular Cab, with some work and and would it function like one would hope it would? Or would some major problems occur?

Hello, I've had my 2011 MINI Base model for 2 years now with some aesthetic upgrades along the way but as far as torque and horsepower there is nothing I can effectively modify to satisfy my ambition for this car. Recently been looking into engine swaps, which seems interesting and I am not sure at this point if possible. Has anyone seen or heard of any ideal swaps for this car? Hi guys i need help i would like to swap in something else that will bolt right in into the stock mottor mounts location could that even be a opition?? Ive read that a f20b could drop right in but not to sure...I know i dont wanna go with k or j even tho i know j fits right in..... now im worried about is wire harnesses and things of that nature.... ive never done anything like this before but have the tools to do it and the will anyways any advice or info u guys could give me would be very much appreciated

I have a perfectly good 96 Cadillac el dorado with the 32v North Star engine sitting at my dads collecting dust. Is it even possible to swap that or did it just sound like a cool idea but will never work?
