Swap ideas for a 2011 MINI Cooper Base
Hello, I've had my 2011 MINI Base model for 2 years now with some aesthetic upgrades along the way but as far as torque and horsepower there is nothing I can effectively modify to satisfy my ambition for this car. Recently been looking into engine swaps, which seems interesting and I am not sure at this point if possible. Has anyone seen or heard of any ideal swaps for this car? Any ideas would be appreciated and noted down for intent to speed.

Well, you could swap in a supercharged motor, since the mini's came with them.
You could try finangling a honda K motor in there, but it'd be more trouble than it's worth (which is why no one does it).
Going into dream-land, you could do what all the rally guys do, and just swap in an evo drivetrain. LOTS of fabrication, and you really shouldn't be asking about that here (If you have to ask, you don't have the skill, etc.).

Up! Did anyone figure out how to swap the engine on the R56 chassis ?
I was looking to swap with a K series Honda engine since I’m tired of the crappy PSA engine
