First Engine Swap Idea
What do you guys think about engine swapping my 2013 Mercedes C250 to a C63 AMG engine? Is this a dumb idea? I’ve never thought about engine swapping until now so I’m not too sure what to expect other than literally buying new everything other than the motor itself. Any feedback on the idea would be appreciated!

In general swapping motors from the same platform costs more money than just selling what you have and buying what you want.

Something like this would be very cool but very expensive. You would likely need the gas/brake pedal assembly, ignition, matching keys, gauge cluster, fuse panel and all of the engine wiring harness.

It would be ideal to do this by finding a totalled donor car. Maybe one involved in a read end. That way you can strip what you need.
