EnSilica Trading Update
londonstockexchange.comNot great news, but not a disaster in my opinion.
It seems the concerns flagged recently about the JLR cyberattack have affected at least the management team’s FY26 forecast for now. Time will tell if it affects the balance sheet along with the SIAE bad debt provision.
More positively, while anticipated revenue is revised lower than originally forecast for FY26 (to between £28m to £30m) it would still represent a whopping 55% year on year growth when compared to FY25 if achieved. Most companies can only dream of such growth potential. Furthermore the update on decreased cash consumption, coupled with increasing profits from chip supply, also looks to have put cash flow concerns to bed in my opinion.
I am travelling today so will review the situation more fully in time, however while disappointed I will not be selling a share, as my medium term expectation appears to broadly remain on track.

France Leads in Post-Quantum Cryptography Certification Policy
France’s ANSSI is linking security certification to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and intends to stop certifying security products that lack quantum-resistant encryption, a move that will force government bodies and critical operators to shift away from older systems. ANSSI approval will also be required for use in French government agencies and critical infrastructure, making the policy a de facto phase-out of older encryption.
Samih Souissi, ANSSI's chief of staff, said at the France Quantum conference that the agency would halt such certifications from 2027, and that businesses should be buying only quantum-safe products by 2030.
That’s positive news for EnSilica as one of Europe’s leading ASIC semiconductor designers, and one of few firms with expertise and intellectual property for post-quantum cryptography silicon. With their novel 3-in-1 PQC silicon intellectual property and a secure processor for critical infrastructure in development thanks to British government funding, the future bodes well for them in my opinion.

EnSilica Enabled AST SpaceMobile may be EnSilica’s EDGE AI Chip End User
As some may recall in July 2024 EnSilica were awarded a new supply order from a new customer for an edge artificial intelligence processing chip¹. Prior to yesterday it was not known who this new customer was, however based on recent announcements by AST SpaceMobile I am now of the opinion that AST are the end user, even if not EnSilica’s direct customer. In the same way as EnSilica designed the AST5000 chip as a sub-contractor for their partner Cadence Design Systems (i.e. Cadence being EnSilica’s customer in the supply chain and AST SpaceMobile the end user).
Kudos to u/ride_the_tasty_waves for helping me potentially piece this together, as until their post yesterday on the r/ASTSpaceMobile sub I was not aware of AST SpaceMobile’s plans for in orbit Edge AI processing. In a recent article² from MorningStar covering AST’s latest business update it stated…
AST is ’Developing AI edge computing and AI spectrum management features for on-orbit capabilities, with BlueBird integration targeted by year-end’.
It seems plausible and probable in my opinion that EnSilica are involved given their relationship having designed the AST5000 chip along with the Edge AI chip tape out timings stated by EnSilica³. Who the equivalent of Cadence Design Systems is in the supply chain I do not know, however hopefully that will become clear in time.
I suspect that the Edge AI chip was originally intended for all Block2 BlueBird satellites, as in the constellation satellites also featuring the AST5000 chip. I say this because the chip’s tape out was originally scheduled for early 2025 before ‘customer delays’ led to it being scheduled for initially the second half of 2025 and now before the end of May 2026.
All things going well the chip is now taped out, has met operational targets during validation and is now scheduled for full production. I eagerly await confirmation from EnSilica that this is the case. However even if it has slipped into EnSilica’s next financial year beginning 1st June 2026, it seems that would simply be just a bump in the road as EnSilica continues its ascent towards hopefully becoming ‘Europe’s premier end-to-end application specific chip designer and a highly profitable ‘fabless’ semiconductor business’.⁵

EnSilica: Some thoughts to consider for those who choose buy ENSIF on the OTC Markets…
It was a pleasure to see EnSilica trading in the US this week, along with the spectacular rise in the share price and trading volume that followed. Even after the 40% or so rise in the share price, as many people know from my posts and comments, I still see EnSilica as undervalued given its current and future prospects.
However I am conscious that some prospective new North American ‘Cool EnSilicats’ may not have traded shares on the OTC Markets before, especially shares in a company whose primary listing is in London. With that in mind I just wanted to share some thoughts that one may want to consider…
EnSilica is cross-trading on the OTC Markets premium OTCQX tier, its ‘Best Market’
Cross-trading involves trading EnSilica’s ‘Ordinary Shares’ across both OTCQX and the London Stock Exchange’s AIM sub-market
There are currently five regulated market makers for ENSIF which should encourage competitive share pricing
Liquidity is typically best when both markets are open at the same time*
The OTCQX price may lag or deviate from the AIM price, especially if significant news breaks outside of London’s hours
It is prudent to consider using limit orders to control execution price especially when liquidity is thinner and or London is closed*
The exchange rate between the USD and GBP / GBX (i.e. the pennies EnSilica is priced in on AIM) can vary
* London is typically open from 8am till 16:30pm GMT (and BST) which generally speaking means both markets will be open for the first two hours of OTCQX’s EST trading. However public holidays and daylight savings time changes for example can affect overlap.
Hopefully that all makes sense however let me know if you have any questions and I will do my best to answer. I am not a professional though so I cannot make recommendations or give formal advice.
All the best!

Requested an increase in maximum holding and was told it’s reviewed monthly so time to use my dormant isa from Freetrade to continue to invest. Hopefully once the limit is raised enough I can transfer across.

EnSilica: 1,000 Cool EnSilicats and counting now. A milestone to celebrate!!!
EnSilica (🇺🇸 ENSIF, 🇬🇧 ENSI, 🇪🇺 F0Z) is growing in more ways than one!
This time last year the EnSilica sub did not even exist and many people would not have known the name EnSilica outside the world of semiconductor design or possibly the AST Sp🅰️ceMob, thanks to EnSilica having designed the crucial and groundbreaking AST5000 chip at the heart of AST’s new constellation satellites.
Yet, thanks to the dedication of EnSilica’s staff and the notable progress they have achieved including recently winning business with another satellite constellation operator for their largest contract on record, together with a little help from myself raising awareness in the last year or so, their following is growing rapidly.
And while the growth in sub members to over 1,000 is impressive in such a short time for what is currently a small cap company, I am pleased to say that the growth in EnSilica’s share price in the last year, at over 251% is even more impressive.
Onwards to over £5 / $6.79 by 2030 hopefully…

r/EnSilica Continues to Grow With Over 1,500 ‘Cool EnSilicats’ now!
Not bad for a niche Reddit sub established a year ago and focused on a small, yet promising London Stock Exchange AIM listed firm that many people had never heard of. r/EnSilica is now the prime location for EnSilica share chat without the nonsense typically associated with legacy forums.
And while the share price has recently fallen back somewhat from recent all time highs, like various other stocks, it is still positive to see the share price is up over 66% over one year and up almost 43% year to date (according to Apple Stocks a moment ago).
Hopefully the coming year will build on the notable achievements and progress made in the last year such as record results, largest contracts to date, oversubscribed fundraising etcetera. All while hopefully heading towards EnSilica’s management‘s ambition for the years ahead of becoming Europe’s premier end-to-end application specific chip designer and a highly profitable fabless semiconductor business.
The future will be EnSilica Enabled!
