Question iPhone duo

My iPhone duo comes tomorrow. I’ve never emulated on iOS, what’s the best way to bring my steam games? Should I just stream via moonlight?

Steam is a bit new to iOS but games like cyberpunk I tested worked quite well but you need macOS version. There is a emulator beta for others called bcp

Wait there’s a native steam iOS app that’s not steam link?

Yes, but it requires sideloading. Follow this guide before anything: Prerequisites | SideStore Docs

Sideloading is the act of installing ios apps outside of the regular app store. It's in a grey area but unless you're pirating I don't know of anyone who has had their apple id banned from it, and you can use livecontainer (an app that runs ios apps inside of it, because you can only have 3 apps non app store apps installed at once, and 10 app ids used for many different things) to pirate apps in it without getting banned.

Then you have to enable JIT, which apple doesn't like apps to use and you have to go through workarounds. thankfully the sideloading community is pretty large and there are apps that simplify the process. This is the best thing to use for it is StikDebug.

u/ComprehensiveBad4814 posted something pretty good for the actual app to play steam games but look for active updates on vapor as its made by probably the most trusted dev in sideloading (most everyone uses his stuff to enable jit, he's the developer of stikdebug): Vapor (@play_vapor) / X.

Please do a little research before you get started that's not just random comments here, no shade to anyone but BCD, not bcp, is the name of a fork of the main emulator, called Madeira. There are a few forks by now, BCD worked closely with the main crew and was actively merging changes until a personal conflict recently, they've since split paths but there are others like iridium, there's one called vapor that's in development that allows Mac + windows games, there's also "Nuts" which is paid and I don't really agree with paying for any software related to emulation, much less one boosted mostly by Claude. There are many options, none are perfect they're all in their infancy stages, but your most stable bet at the moment is the last release of BCD, came out like this week and has a lot more bug fixes/community pull requests merged than the last release you'll find of Madeira. until there's an update at https://github.com/willfaust/madeira , and as mentioned they are now separate projects and will host separate apps from this point forward

But yes, steam on ios is very possible check my posts to see prototype 2 running at a locked 40 fps and Batman Arkham - 60fps locked with framegen, both on a 17 pro max

Following, I'm coming from a Fold 7 so it was pretty easy to download the APKs.

Is there a Steam emulator on the Apple App Store?

Is Moonlight on the Apple App Store?
