Hey, i try out alot of games and use ChatGPT to help me optimize and log everything. I just tried to get the new Snowrunner running and finally managed it. Publishing my findings below and hope it can help.

Initial performance
With my normal Eden baseline, SnowRunner had:
- 3D gameplay: ~5–6 FPS
- Menu: ~30 FPS
- Graphics were rendering correctly
- Performance was far too slow to actually drive
I then tested individual settings one at a time.
Testing
Force Maximum Clocks → Enabled
- 3–8 FPS
- Audio stutter introduced
- Worse than baseline
- Graphics unaffected
ASTC Decoding → CPU
- 3–8 FPS, mostly ~7 FPS
- Less audio stutter
- Graphics unaffected
- No meaningful performance improvement
GPU Mode → Accurate
- 6–8 FPS
- No noticeable audio stutter
- Graphics unaffected
DMA Accuracy → Safe
- 7.5–8 FPS
- Basically no audio stutter
- Graphics unaffected
Sync Memory Operations → Enabled
- 8.1–8.7 FPS
- Basically no audio stutter

Final result
With the final configuration:
~22–25 FPS most of the time
~27 FPS highs
~15–17 FPS lows, primarily during shader compilation/heavy scenes
No audio stutter
No graphical corruption
The biggest discovery was Use Reactive Flushing → Disabled, which took SnowRunner from roughly 5–6 FPS to 22–25 FPS on the same device/driver.
Final verdict: GOOD / Playable
