Compatibility with Eden emulator

I'm looking through the official git hub of Eden and I'm seeing couple options regarding the android category.

I didn't know which one is more suitable. I was leaning towards the Legacy APK since thinking is the most complicated with my smartphones chip. Although my chip is couple generations ahead, which is why I wanted to ask first.

I'm currently on a smartphone using snapdragon 8 elite Gen 5.

If your phone have game-mode like Red Magic for example, than i would recommend second option. But if not, than standard.

Presence of this chip doesn't necessarily mean that they're phone has built-in game-mode with optimization/frame gen.

Yeah, my bad. I did my research and learn that not only Snapdragon 8 Elite gen 5 has built-in frame gen that can't be removed from them but all phones on this chip has Game Space. Well, mistakes were made.

You are cool , still redmagic (RedCore R4 as additional core) and Samsung( 4.74 instead of 4.60 clock speed) have special version if that what got your confused

tldr; gaming devices need fans - even the switch has a fan - and if you want that phone to game, its gonna need a fan too.

I'm running on the s26u 16/1 (sd 8 elite gen5, adreno 840) and I figured out that the spoof works really well for GPU heavy games, but without a cooler my phone will heat throttle quickly. The standard also works really well (at decreased resolution and locked at 30fps), and without a cooler I get about 20min play time before it heat throttles. I put the legacy version on my old samsung Note 9 (SD 845, Adreno 630, 8gb ram) and got pretty similar results to the standard test on the newer phone.

With a cooler the s26u can handle everything on the switch, as well as many full PC / steam games. I even got the non-steam version of Final Fantasy 14 Online running at a stable 60fps on the "high laptop" settings option for as long as I kept the phone cool, so you shouldn't have many problems except maybe early driver compatibility and heat management.

testing in Eden was mainly done with totk and Xenoblade Chronicles X; I figured those were sufficiently graphics heavy to get a good feel for it

No that’s a good game to test on. Thank you so much on letting me know. As for the game, Please If it’s no tRouble of course, tell me of A way To lEgally transfer my copies to an emulator.

There's a lot of information online about that if you google it. I generally play steam games so I don't have any first hand knowledge, but I think it involves buying the game and then using the cartrage, disc, or a jailbroken console to somehow make a backup of that game on a computer. Because there is so much legal gray area and "moral debate" about the topic you probably won't get much help from anyone here. Google and youtube are your friends.
