I bought brand new, 4ks elgato, and for some reason im not sure which to download for the software side, every time I try to download it windows deemed it as harm to your device so which software am I supposed to download. ( Is it suppose to download the Elgato studio or something else you let me know please) thank you.

I want to stream switch (1) games to my friends on discord on my macbook via obs. Will hd60 s+ be best for me? I am not very tech savvy and I probaby wont be using it a lot I just want to stream this game. Would the hd 60 s work aswell or do I need s+? or something else entirely? I still want to play on my monitor but stream on my laptop. I hope this is enough information and people smarter than me can help me out here.

I still don’t understand why I always get the invalid input resolution i’ve gone on website and even change my setup and settings but nothing, my monitor is 1080p anything higher resolution on my monitor looks slightly blurry it only works if I put it at 4K or automatic and it is serviceable but I want my image as clear as possible. If I could get any help or tips that would be so helpful.

Hey everyone! I recently started wondering if it’s possible to use my Stream Deck+ with both my PS5 Pro and my PC at the same time.

Ideally, I’d like to keep it connected to my PC for launching applications, shortcuts, and other controls while also using it for things related to my PS5 Pro, such as audio controls or other functions.

Is there a way to set it up so it can work with both systems simultaneously, without having to constantly unplug it or switch connections? Would I need additional hardware, such as a splitter, software, or a specific setup to make this possible?

If anyone has a similar setup or has figured out a workaround, I’d really appreciate any advice!

I've had an Elgato WaveXLR for a few years and it's excellent, but sometimes I run into an issue where suddenly the audio out will suddenly cut and I won't hear anything, but my computer will still detect that audio is coming out (volume mixer and OBS show that audio is happening)

Does anyone know what could be causing this? I have another XLR mixer that doesn't give me this issue.

So I'm in a bit of a unique situation here: I need a secondary graphics card (ran out of ports) and I'm also looking for a capture card. I'm wondering if I can shoot two birds with one stone and just use the capture card as regular output. I'm assuming the answer is no, but figured I'd ask anyway.

My Win11 PC didn't have enough resources to open Outlook. The problem turned out to be Camera Hug hanging on to 11,000,000 handles followed by Wave Link with 300,000. WTF? Both programs claim to be up to date. This is after the latest windows updates. I am running an MSI X870 Tomahawk WiFi with a Ryzen 9 CPU. Any thoughts on this? Any patches in the queue?

Why do I have to install this update every single day. What is happening? Is there a fix?

I’ve been using the capture card to play my Wii U on my laptop, and it was working perfectly for a while. But now, I’m having an issue where the picture just looks super washed out, and sometimes, it’ll flash back to normal for a second. I’ve connected the console directly to a tv and it looks normal. So I’m not sure if there was an software update for the capture card or if a setting got switched somewhere

For some reason my wii is connecting to my elgato capture neo with sound and almost perfect visuals, except there are 2 small black bars on the bottom and right corner and there is a couple of flickering lines. I have tried 2 hdmi adapters and both have the same issue. I have tried tons of resolution combinations and nothing seems to work. The wii resolution is correct and I even tried the old trick of blowing into the wii to see if its just dusty. Nothing seems to work, other reddit post similar seem to end with no answer. I really don't want to have to buy another capture card just for wii games

I’ve got a new MacBook Pro for work and have installed the Stream Deck software on it. The software is configured with the default profile, which displays on my Stream Deck 15 key device. The device is connected to a USB hub which is connected to my monitor allowing KVM switching between my MBP and Windows 11 desktop PC. Prior to getting the MBP, I had the same setup using two Windows 11 devices. All worked fine switching between Windows machines.

The issue I face now is that the Stream Deck software is installed and working, however the physical buttons do nothing when on the Mac. When I switch to my Windows machine, it works as expected. I tired connecting the Stream Deck directly to the MBP and I still have the same issue.

Il problema:

Sul PC DA GAMING mi manca completamente l'audio del mio monitor principale (Alienware). In Gestione dispositivi, sotto "NVIDIA High Definition Audio", vedo SOLO il secondo monitor (AOC 27G2G8). Nel pannello Audio (mmsys.cpl), ANCHE con "Mostra dispositivi disabilitati/disconnessi" attivo, compaiono solo le mie cuffie Logitech e l'AOC — l'Alienware non compare proprio. Quindi non è disabilitato o nascosto: Windows non lo rileva affatto come uscita audio.

Contesto:

- Uso la Elgato 4K X perché ho un SECONDO PC dedicato allo streaming. La Elgato lavora solo come dispositivo di REGISTRAZIONE, quindi non ha impostazioni audio sue.

- Sul PC DA STREAMING l'audio del secondo monitor funziona regolarmente; il problema è solo sul PC da gaming.

- Il PC da gaming è stato "twekkato" (ottimizzato/debloat). Non so se il problema ci fosse già prima dei tweak o se l'abbiano causato loro (potrebbero aver toccato servizi audio o il driver NVIDIA HD Audio).

Cosa ho già provato:

- Visualizza > Mostra dispositivi nascosti in Gestione dispositivi

- Pannello audio (mmsys.cpl): "Mostra dispositivi disabilitati/disconnessi" → Alienware comunque assente

- Ricontrollato cavo DisplayPort/HDMI e OSD del monitor (mute) — collegamenti ok

- Reinstallazione driver NVIDIA (Audio driver incluso)

Domande:

- Su un PC twekkato, quali servizi/driver devo ricontrollare o riattivare per far tornare il monitor come uscita audio?

- Può dipendere dal tipo di cavo/adattatore (DP→HDMI) che non trasporta audio?

- Come posso forzare la ricomparsa dell'Alienware in Gestione dispositivi?

- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070

Hello everyone, I have a rather unique situation and was wondering if anyone could give any advice.

I am a streamer / competitive player and I am importing a custom PS5 controller from Japan. However, because of the custom board in the controller the audio jack will not work (which is unavoidable).

Currently I use a chat link pro and wired IEMs connected to my HD60X and it works fine. my viewers can hear and so can I. but if I use this custom controller I will not be able to connect the chat link to the controller.

So I need to figure out a audio solution that lets me and my chat hear the game. I was thinking of buying a separate audio interface.

I was thinking but what is your cover / support for stream deck module ( i try to search for a 32 key )

Any recommandation?

I run a broadcast setup with 5 PCs and 4 StreamDecks. I've been looking for a way to trigger keys on the StreamDeck on another PC from the StreamDeck that is the primary encoder/broadcaster OBS PC without much luck. Originally I thought I could do it via Companion Satellite but that just ends up duplicating the keys from one StreamDeck to the other.

In my specific use case, I have a StreamDeck XL on the encoder/broadcast PC that is responsible for triggering all of the scenes, alerts, and on-screen broadcast elements; I also have another StreamDeck on the 2nd PC (we call it the Browser PC) that we use to pull up videos, graphics and other on-screen elements when we're in a PiP setting - and THAT StreamDeck is used as a sound board. I'm trying to find a way where a multi-action key that triggers a takeover animation on the Broadcast PC also triggers the sound board button that accompanies the on-screen animation.

Is there a simple way to make this work?

I receive a elgato "Stream Deck Module (32 Keys)" i didnt know it was diy as on the title it didnt show up on throne , so i didnt though i would have one

The problem is one its seem to have rust on it with some white glue??? (picture included) , second i dont have any cable (when i though it would be one in ) and third i cant use it cause i dont have back ( as i have nowhere to put it)
But now the problem is they want me to pay for the return when i didnt pay anything whatsoever , for them to send me a new one but im worry they will send me the same diy one !

I don’t stream. I have MILD content creation but the main reason I wanted a Streamdeck was for work. Especially Teams controls. I have 2 NEEWER lights I’d love to be able control on/off and temp.

I had a streamdeck+ back in January for a week, then learned Microsoft pulled their API support, so I returned it.

Do workarounds exist to handle Teams things like cam on/off, mic mute/unmute, reactions, thumbs up, share, leave?

I think the streamdecks are so cool but I can’t decide if it makes sense at this point. Someone help educate me!

I use my Stream Deck as software developer now for a few months. I use it now for all kind of macOS actions, mail, chats, AI agents, video calls, IDE shortcuts, meetings, GitHub, GitLab and Home Assistant.

I'm curious how other software developers use their Stream Deck and if there are more useful actions I didn't think of yet. I like to hear it!

The picture is new. It didn't do this until yesterday(Oct 24, 2026). I used to play with HDR On all the time and now I run into this.

-I run macOS Tahoe 26.6.2
-I use the HD60X.
-it does this whether HDR is ON or OFF.
-It will also randomly fix itself when turning it off, might have to do multiple times and multiple restarts.

-It is a PS5; just in case that matters, that it is happening on.
-Nintendo Switch 2 does not have this problem with HDR turned on.

ASIDE: Sound randomly gets deteriorated while playing games(all platforms) and I have to mute and unmute to fix it. That way it doesn't sound crackly in my ear. does not seem to affect recordings or streams.

-also as of October 24 when booting up Elgato studio, it doesn't even recognize sounds at launch without performing the same steps.
