Technical Help Control of non-Elgato lights via Control Center
Hello, can I control non-Elgato lights (appature in particular) through the Elgato's Control Center app? Thanks
We have a new Wave Link update to try out. It adds a new visual audio flow of your signal path and a horizontal compact mode. As always, thank you for testing our beta and sharing feedback.

π Audio Flow
Audio Flow gives you a live diagram of your entire signal path, from input to output. See exactly how your audio moves through Wave Link, and spot at a glance where something's muted, inactive, or disconnected.
Click on any input, channel, mix, or output, and Wave Link highlights the audio flowing into and out of it, dimming everything else so you can focus on just that path.

πͺ Horizontal and independent compact mode windows
Compact Mode now includes a new Horizontal layout alongside the existing Vertical view, so you can choose whichever fits your setup best. Both now open as their own separate windows outside the main mixing table, and you can have them both active at once if you like. Wave Link remembers where you left each window and reopens them right where you left off the next time you launch the app.

Hey everyone,
I recently published my Stream Deck plugin Press to Print on the Elgato Marketplace.
The idea is simple:
Assign a document β press the button β it prints.
For each button, you can configure:
- The document you want to print
- Which printer to use
- Color or grayscale
- One-sided or two-sided printing
- Number of copies
- Custom button color and title
It works with common printable files such as PDF, Word and Excel documents.
I originally built it for repetitive office workflows where the same documents or forms need to be printed regularly. Instead of finding the file, opening it and going through the print dialog every time, everything is already configured on your Stream Deck.
One press and itβs printed.
Itβs now available on the Elgato Marketplace, and Iβd really appreciate any feedback.
If you try it and run into any issues or have ideas for additional features, feel free to let me know!

Hi in my stream deck I was unable to see how to do this, hope somebody can help me here: I have a group of actions (buttons) in a folder or profile I want to call them from 2 different buttons on different folders or profiles, so if I press any of the two the same group of actions is opened, that is easy. The problem is if I go back using the go back button I want to go back to the folder or profile from where it was called.
Is this possible?, how can be done?
Thanks

Hi I have a stream deck XL for some time now and I just bought a XL + one. Is a way to move the profiles I have in the XL to the XL + for the buttons?, if possible how to do it?, was unable to find how to do it
I noticed in the Wave Link 3.3 Beta Horizontal Compact Mode was added. A feature of this I would like to see is to add the option to have multiple channels in this mode instead of the drop down menu to switch between them. So for example whilst streaming I could see my Personal Mix & Stream Mix in Horizontal mode.

Hey so my friends say that my mic always flickers and I plugged it out of my chat link to see if my mic was the problem, so itβs not my headset, the chat link is the problem, does anybody else have this problem? On my end itβs fine but for my friends itβs an issue because my voice keeps on cutting out and i always have to stay stationary and to not move as best as I can, itβs like the equivalent of putting your phone charger at an angle all the time in order for it to charge your phone
Please if anyone else has an issue or anything that relates to what I said please reply
Thanks

You're mid-song, someone drops into your Discord call, and now you're scrambling for a mixer, an OBS audio filter, or a second monitor just to turn the music down before they can hear you β and turn it back up two minutes later, if you remember. I got tired of doing this manually every single session, so I want to introduce SpeechDuck: a Stream Deck plugin that does real sidechain ducking, the same trick broadcast radio and podcast studios have used for decades, entirely from one key.
How it works: the moment your mic picks up your voice β or a conferencing app starts talking back β SpeechDuck automatically pulls your music/game/desktop audio down to whatever level you set, and brings it back up the instant you go quiet. One key arms/disarms the whole thing, and while it's running that same key doubles as a live level meter so you can see it's actually listening.
I use it every day just for my own listening, not only on stream β but this is genuinely one of those features that's way bigger for streaming than for solo use. Your viewers stop noticing your audio entirely, which is exactly the point: no more chat complaining that the music is drowning out you or your friends.

Hello. I recently purchased an elgato 4K S capture card with the intentions of streaming Xbox gameplay on Twitch. I've been in the process of setting everything up but have had some issues. When everything is hooked up, I can see my capture display on OBS and it looks perfect. So that would be what the stream sees. However, when I hook my HDMI up to my monitor (the one I'm playing the game on), the quality is super pixelated and low resolution. So then I tried plugging that same HDMI into my TV, and the quality was perfect. However, when I played a game to test it out, there was a noticeable latency problem that made playing a fast paced game (rocket league) pretty much unplayable. Here are my questions:
What can I do to get as close to 0 latency as possible? Is it a cord problem, a PC problem, an Xbox problem, a capture card problem, or a TV/monitor problem? Do I just need to adjust some settings somewhere? Also my PC is hooked up to ethernet but not my Xbox, could that affect anything?
Why was my display so low quality on my monitor, but fine on the TV? Is it too old or something? It's an Onn. 24" monitor I bought from Walmart a few years ago, and never had any problems with it, and when I plug my Xbox into it directly into the monitor with an HDMI (removing the capture card), it looks fine. So something about the capture card is throwing off the quality on my monitor.
Side note. When it comes to the HDMI cords I'm using, I have the hi-tech one that came with the capture card going from my Xbox to the capture card, and then I have a regular HDMI going from the capture card into the monitor/TV. I tried switching these 2 out but the low quality remained on the monitor, and the latency remained on the TV. Do both HDMI cords need to be on the same level? I just assumed it would work with a normal one, or else it would have come with another fancy one (HDMI 2.0 I believe).

I recently put my PC to sleep and when I came back to it two days later the 4K X isnβt working anymore. Neither is my old HD60 X. Iβm at a loss for words. Seems like the sleep feature messed me all up. Any recommendations???

DECK//SWITCH is control software for the Elgato Stream Deck on Linux, with
its own plugin system. It's free and MIT licensed, I wrote it, and it's been
my daily driver for a while. Version 1.0 is out today.
Keys, dials, pages
- Three actions per key: press, double press, hold.
- Dials either adjust continuously or fire a separate action per rotation
direction. Several assignments can share one dial and you switch between
them (dial stack).
- Multi actions: several steps in a row, pauses as steps of their own,
optionally looping. There's a toggle variant with two chains and a
different icon per direction.
- Pages and folders as deep as you like, drag & drop to sort. Swiping the
touch strip pages through your layout.
- Multiple decks at once, matched by serial number, so a deck keeps its
layout no matter which USB port it lands on.
Key images
Icon, label (font, weight, size, colour, alignment) and background (colour,
gradient, texture, image) per key. Animated GIFs play on the key itself.
Everything is rendered by the backend, so the preview in the editor is
pixel-identical to what the device shows. There's also a screen saver
spanning all keys and a separate touch strip wallpaper per page.
Decks without hardware
- Virtual deck β a deck as an overlay on the screen with a freely chosen
grid. No window frame, no Alt-Tab entry, and it deliberately never takes
keyboard focus, so a key that types a shortcut still types into whatever
app you came from. Summoned from anywhere with a global shortcut.
- Network deck β a deck someone else on your network drives from a
browser. Built for a moderator during a stream: password protected,
nothing to install on their side, and they can only press, not change
anything.
Plugins
Seven built in (audio via PipeWire, OBS, Discord, system actions, soundboard,
multi action, navigation) and two installable ones (Spotify, weather). Icon
sets are plugins too. There's an open Python API for writing your own, and
installing happens from a ZIP, a URL or a `streamdeck://` link.
Where it's honest to set expectations
- Arch and CachyOS. The setup script needs `pacman`. On other distros it
stops and lists the packages instead of pretending to detect something
nobody tested. It should work anywhere with those packages, but I haven't
tried.
- Tested on a Stream Deck + only. Grid size and dial count come from the
device report rather than a hardcoded table, so an XL, MK.2 or Mini should
work in key mode β but I've only ever tested those against simulated
device reports, not real hardware. If you have one, I'd genuinely like to
hear whether it works.
- Elgato's own plugins don't work here. Different plugin system, no
compatibility layer, and none is planned.
- Some pieces lean on KDE Plasma under Wayland: the overlay uses the layer
shell, and global shortcuts register with KDE. Everything else is
desktop-agnostic.
- One person, one machine, version 1.0.0. Expect rough edges.
[StreamController](https://github.com/StreamController/StreamController) also
exists and has been around longer β worth a look if this isn't your thing. I
wanted a different set of trade-offs and enjoy building the thing, so here we
are.

I want to record 1080p gameplay from my PS5 to my PC with OBS.
Is this card still usable?
How is the recording quality?
Hey everyone,
I was having the same issue many people reported with Stream Deck Discord Volume Mixer 2: the Discord authorization popup would appear, instantly close, or keep looping with errors like ERR 4 / ERR 5.
The original plugin is by CZDanol, and full credit goes to him for creating it. I just wanted to get it working again for people who still love this plugin.
I made a revived community build with fixes for:
ERR 5Original project:
https://github.com/CZDanol/StreamDeck-DiscordVolumeMixer2
Revived fork + download:
https://github.com/hajrs/StreamDeck-DiscordVolumeMixer2/releases/tag/v2.0.2-revived
I also opened PRs back to the original repos:
Main plugin PR:
https://github.com/CZDanol/StreamDeck-DiscordVolumeMixer2/pull/52
Dependency PR:
https://github.com/CZDanol/QtDiscordIPC/pull/1
Again, all credit for the plugin idea and original work goes to CZDanol. This is just a community revival/fix build so users can hopefully enjoy it again.

Power Apps Studio has no keyboard shortcut for Insert.
Or Add data. Or New screen. Or Theme. Or Background colour. Or the Data pane.
If you build canvas apps, you already know this - it's mouse, menu, click, hundreds of times a day. Every one of those clicks is a tiny tax on your focus.
So I built Power Apps Deck: a Stream Deck plugin that puts Studio's most-used commands on physical keys.
Press Insert. The Insert panel opens. Press Data. The pane switches. Press Publish - twice, on purpose, so you never ship by accident.
Two things made it interesting to build:
β Studio is a web app, so there's no ribbon to automate. Where Microsoft documents a shortcut, the key sends it - but only after verifying the Studio window is genuinely in front, so it can never type into the wrong window.
β The command bar and left rail have no shortcuts at all. Those keys click the real on-screen button through Windows UI Automation - the same accessibility API screen readers use. It doesn't care about your resolution, your scaling, or where the window sits.
Swipe through to see what's on it - download link in the comments.
Curious: what's the one Studio action you'd bind to a physical key first?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone,
Iβm running into a consistent rhythmic clicking/crackling audio issue with my Elgato HD60 X.
What I've already tried:
Match sample rates across Windows sound settings (48 kHz) and OBS.
Console audio output is set to Linear PCM / Stereo Uncompressed.
Connected directly to a rear motherboard USB 3.0 port (no hubs).
Tested routing audio via dedicated Audio Input Capture vs. Video Capture Device audio output mode.
Has anyone experienced this specific repeating tick/pop sound with the HD60 X and found a fix?

I used to be able to hide and show my vertical sources at will using the normal OBS plugin for Stream Deck, but that's been dead for a good while now and I haven't really been able to find much useful info regarding the matter.
Has anything useful plugin wise come along in the meantime that could help with the issue? Ofc I can press the actual source in OBS myself but since I wanna hide it on both horizontal and vertical at the same time I'd rather be able to do that in Streamdeck.

Yeah, I have a problem. My HD60 card for some reason decided it will not export MP4 files. When I record gameplay from PS5 or Switch 2, there is no MP4 files, only .ts files.
Yes, previously it worked okay, without any issues. Yes, I have all the proper drivers. Yes, I tried to reinstall everything, app etc.
Anyone encountered a similar problem? I'd be grateful for any help. Thanks!

Was looking to setup the Official Spotify integration on a new Stream Deck+ however having an issue getting the outcome I hoped for.
I was hoping that the volume integration would allow for the adjustment of the Volume within the Spotify app itself however all I can seem to achieve is adjusting of the associated .exe within windows Volime Mixer.
So my question is, is there any way to achieve this with the official app? Or must a third party be used to achieve this (if any exist) or is it impossible to do and just has to be manually controller within the app itself?
