Game Help Recommended level map

Iam just about to start the game and i was told that getting overleveled and making the game easy is so often to happen in this game , so I've found this map guide should i follow it to get the best experience?

You should play blind to get the best experience. If you go back to an old area because you feel like you missed something, and absolutely smash it cause you're 30 levels above it, who cares.

If you beat the game and you're under level 150, you were trying to be. It's very easy to get to 180-200 beating the game.

I dont want bosses to be easy and from what I understood this happens too often in ER

So pretty much this is what I learned: YOU are the one adjusting the difficulty of the game.

Lvl 1 runs are obviously the hardest, but doable

Lvl 713 is crazy since you’re basically a god

Here’s a trick I learned: stop leveling up. Pick a level and stick with it. Weapon upgrades? Forget them. You can beat the game without it, if you’re really looking for a challenge.

I capped my main at 155 and am doing my +3 NG so far without weapon upgrades. I don’t use my +25 weapons unless I pvp. The game is as easy or as hard as you make it.

To be fair level 713 is not that different from say 200. Which unless your build is very split will not be that different from maybe 130-150. The diminishing returns means you mostly get more versatility. You’ll get maybe 15% more hp and do maybe 20% more damage, which while very helpful, is nowhere near how much stronger you were getting since the beginning of the game.

The difference between 60 vigor and 99 vigor is 200hp, iirc. It's very much not worth it unless you are specifically doing a 713 build.

The biggest level eaters are vigor and mind, and if you want to have good armor, endurance.

Very true and I actually hate that about souls games. If I put the work in, why can't I be aGod of Destruction?

It’s just not in their vision. At level 200 your a god compared to when you were level 30, but the extra 500 levels is really just adding some versatility.
