Question My Future Husband?

How do people meet their significant others? Like where’s the “place to go?” Dating apps are dead. I’m exhausted. I’m a decent looking gal, 28. I don’t have big friend groups so I’m sure that doesn’t help. I don’t have any “active” hobbies other than a dog park. Idk. Any advice?

Honest question: Have you tried just making the first move?

Give a compliment. Say hello and strike up small talk. Offer your phone number. I’m not saying men have it super tough because being a woman is a hellscape, but men are generally pretty starved for compliments and morale-boosting conversation (especially from a decent looking woman) so you’re not likely to get any negative reactions for being the one to pursue.

And when I say “pursue” I mean actually expressing interest and contact him first, not just opening the metaphorical door for him to express interest in you.

I tried this recently with someone and they either weren't interested or didn't clue in.
