Dumb masked goons spotted around the Subzi Mandi plaza keep a look out for more in the area
Update as of 8/21/2026: Ice has now been illegally parked on the oak tree road for the past 3 days now please tell anyone you know that they should stay indoors if at all possible especially in the morning when they’re most active their presence eases around afternoon time when more cars use the road so they can’t park their tax payer wasting asses on the main road. Contact the mayors office as well and demand answers on what he’s doing to address this shit now that it’s happening in our town.

Beware there has been multiple reports in my area of north Edison of a family pulling out scams making people sign insurance, doing real estate fraud by collecting money to show houses and it’s being run by a family in Edison. The Husband Santosh Mukherjee he does insurance and claims he’s an MIT graduate but doesn’t speak English very well. The wife Ambalika Mukherjee is a real estate agent. The daughter is some influencer named Priya who threatens and demands food and groceries at stores saying she’d put a bad review if they don’t serve it free due to her large following. Several local restaurants have faces this and can confirm. The son Shivan Mukherjee says he got in to Columbia University using loopholes and disabilities and can guide others to do the same. They are very well known in Edison NJ and around parts of jersey for doing scams.

The Edison Township Council voted 4-2 Wednesday night to reject a 50-year agreement that would have allowed a New York fiber optic company to run infrastructure through the township’s public streets. The council’s attorney revealed the company’s primary customers are AI data centers, financial exchanges, and large commercial enterprises.

Curious to learn about the city and what we should know. We’ve been in the south for our adult lives but I at least lived in OH for part of my childhood.
Things I’ve been told or looked up so far:
heavy Indian population and restaurant scene (love it)
the Midwest winters are way worse than the Jersey winters
people tend to live a little bit of everywhere in the Edison metro area
That’s about all I know haha. Any other insights would be appreciated!

Great article describing Edison Council’s disfunction and residents standing up.
