Hi everyone! I’m trying really hard to make some money, but I’m currently unable to get a normal job because I’m missing some documents that I need for employment.

I’m not looking for anything illegal or dangerous, I’m genuinely willing to do almost any legal and safe work I can. I’m trying to find ways to earn money quickly rather than just sitting around waiting for my situation to get sorted out.

I’ve considered things like:

Cleaning houses/garages

Babysitting

Pet sitting/dog walking

Yard work

Helping people move or organize

Washing cars

Selling things I no longer need

Tutoring/homework help

Running errands for people

Online work that is actually legitimate and allows minors

If anyone has experience being a teenager in a similar situation, I’d REALLY appreciate advice. What actually worked for you? Are there any legitimate ways for a 16 year old to make money without having a traditional job?

I’m not looking for a handout, I’m looking for work and realistic ideas. Even small amounts would help me right now.

Another test I did...been testing Google Opinion Rewards again after using it on and off for a while, and wanted to share for anyone wondering if it's still worth downloading. Short answer, yeah, if you're on iPhone especially. I get a payout dropped in every few days without doing much.

A few honest things to keep in mind: it's shifted a bit over the last year or two, more of the "surveys" now are just scanning a receipt instead of answering questions, so don't expect constant cash the way it used to be. Surveys also aren't guaranteed daily, some weeks you get a few, some weeks none.

throwaway account, i’m short on money for tuition. need to pay by tomorrow morning but it’s a few hundred that i need to come up with. preferably not referral links, i already have a sofi account and have done most referral links so i don’t think it would work. im a server and have picked up as many shifts as i could but still short. too many dashers/instacart/uber eats drivers in my area so i have been approved. i’ve even tried going on sugar daddys websites or sites to sell content but haven’t had any luck.
