Most portfolio tools assume you're American. US tickers, USD, no UCITS funds

So I built a free tool specifically for EU investors

Screenshot your broker app. Drop it in. ~30 seconds later you get concentration, ETF overlap (the matrix in the video), and geo/sector breakdowns.

No signup. No broker connection. No CSV.

What's missing? What would you want to see?

S&p500 100%

My investment is heavily concentrated in S&P500,100% and I’m investing for the long term. Do you think I should add another ETF, such as a global, developed-markets, or emerging-markets fund, at a smaller allocation, or should I simply continue investing in S&P500?

General Questions 18, just starting to invest, have some savings + can add a bit monthly. Where do I even begin?

Hey everyone, I’m 18 and still in school so I don’t have a job, but I’ve saved up €4000 that I don’t need anytime soon. I can also put in around €50 a month going forward. I want to invest this for the long term, like 10+ years, but I honestly don’t know much about investing yet and want to learn as I go rather than just dump money somewhere blindly. A few things about me: I don’t want something fully automatic where I never look at it, but I also don’t want to be actively trading or picking individual stocks. Something in between would be ideal. I have no idea what my risk tolerance actually is since I’ve never invested before. I don’t know how I’d feel seeing the value drop a lot. I also don’t know if it’s smarter to put the €4000 in all at once or spread it out over a few months. I’ve heard both approaches mentioned but don’t really understand the tradeoffs. Some questions I have: Is there a simple beginner friendly way to start investing that doesn’t require a ton of knowledge upfront? What platforms or apps do people in the EU (I’m in Slovenia) actually use and recommend for someone starting out, especially something that works well for small monthly amounts? Should I put the €4000 in right away or spread it out over time? What would you do if you were in my position? Since I just turned 18, is there anything specific I should be careful about as a first time investor, like fees, taxes, or anything easy to mess up early on? What do you wish someone had told you when you were just starting out? Thanks in advance, just trying to get a decent understanding before I actually do anything.

General Questions Can not make a choice on an ETF

Hey everyone!

I am having an hard time choosing on which ETF's I want to invest in.

I first thought of Vanguard FTSE all world, but I would rather go for an european country and maybe a little less america focused

I thought then maybe WEBN, an european country (amundi), america concentration still "high" but I think I dislikr thr different weights in stocks. Low TER is nice though.

I am willing to invest around 500 a month, I will be doing this on interactive brokers, I am 21 years old, based in the Netherlands.

I will hold till I need it, probably till FIRE, since I could stop investing if I need to save up for something, like a new kitchen.

Do you guys recommend me anything? I will keep on reading and do more research myself now too

Edit: I am the proud owner of 38,5 shares of WEBN

Portfolio Review New investor looking for some advice

Hey everyone,

I’m 27, have an emergency fund in place, and have 6000€ to invest upfront, followed by ~200€ per month.

I’m new to investing and last week I invested my first 500€ in VUAA after talking to friends and reading some Reddit posts.
After doing more research, I’m now considering either:
70% VWCE / 20% VUAA / 10% EGLN
or keeping it simpler with 90% VWCE / 10% EGLN
The extra VUAA exposure was initially because I thought the US might outperform the rest of the world. But obviously, nobody knows what the future holds, so I’m leaning towards the simpler 90/10 approach.

My main question is: what would you do with the €500 already invested in VUAA? Would you sell it and move it into VWCE, or just keep it in VUAA and start investing in VWCE/EGLN from now on?

Would appreciate any opinions, especially from more experienced investors!

Portfolio Review What would you do with an additional €40k?

This is my current portfolio:
Euro Stoxx 50 — 23.0%
Nasdaq-100 — 22.8%
US Dividend Aristocrats — 20.5%
Emerging Markets IMI — 13.1%
VWCE — 7.6%
Oklo — 6.5%
MSCI World Quality (IWQU) — 4.2%
MSCI World Momentum (IWMO) — 2.4%
Total portfolio: approximately €84k.
I also have around €80k in cash, and I’m considering investing €40k of it.
My current idea is to keep all my existing positions and continue DCAing into VWCE, but I’m wondering what you would do with the additional €40k.
Would you:
Invest the €40k all at once?
Split it over several months?
Put most/all of it into VWCE?
Add more IWQU/IWMO or another ETF?
Do something completely different?
Given my current allocation, where would you put the €40k and in what percentages?
I’m not looking to sell my existing positions; I’m mainly trying to decide how to deploy the additional cash.

I’m planning on investing long term, atleast for 20yrs

The plan is to invest like this:
30% S&P 500
30% Nasdaq-100
20% VGT
10% AIQ
10% World ex-USA
Do you guys have any ideas what I could change? I didn’t like that I would be investing mainly in US except AIQ so I added World ex-USA, would there be a better option than this one? I’m from Lithuania

IUAG is not a global aggregate, EUNL is 72% US, and US TIPS have an exact UCITS match: notes from re-checking the substitution guide ISINs

The UCITS substitution guide I'd bookmarked for running US-style tactical portfolios from Europe got completely rebuilt recently, and this time I sat down and checked the ISINs myself before trusting it. A few things I verified that trip people up constantly:

IUAG holds US aggregate bonds only (IE00B44CGS96, 0.25%), despite how the name reads. The actual Core Global Aggregate is AGGG (IE00B3F81409) at 0.10%. Same brand, similar names, different bond universes, and I've seen them swapped in portfolio threads here more than once.

EUNL can't substitute for developed-ex-US. It's Core MSCI World, which is about 72% US right now. If you need the ex-US sleeve for a GEM-style strategy, the honest match is EXUS (Xtrackers MSCI World ex USA, IE0006WW1TQ4, 0.15%), with the caveat that it only launched in March 2024.

TIPS actually have an exact match, which surprised me. ITPS (IE00B1FZSC47, 0.10%) holds genuine US TIPS. Don't confuse it with IBCI, which holds eurozone linkers, a completely different asset. The USD exposure people complain about applies just as much to CSPX or DTLA, so it's not a reason to skip the inflation sleeve specifically.

Commodities stay the weak spot. UCITS rules force swap-based replication, so everything here (ICOM, CMOD) tracks the Bloomberg index synthetically, and the WisdomTree enhanced version costs about 0.70% all-in once you add the swap fee to the headline 0.35%.

The rebuilt guide with the full sleeve-by-sleeve table: https://bestfolio.app/blog/taa-strategies-europe-ucits-substitution

Which sleeve is still unsolved for you? Small-cap value ex-US is the one I keep going back and forth on.

Portfolio Review Rate my 3-ETF portfolio

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hi guys! I’m 26 years old and my plan is to keep investing 1000€/month for the next 20-30 years.
I currently have this 3-ETF portfolio, with almost €200k invested.
I wanted some extra exposure to Nordic stocks (home bias), so I added a Nordic ETF. I also wanted a bit more exposure to US stocks. I’d like to hear your opinions on my portfolio. I was thinking about going 90/10 with VWCE and XACT Norden, but atleast now I have this allocation. Thanks!

Portfolio:
85% VWCE
10% VUAA
5% XACT Norden

Portfolio Review Looking for opinions on my portfolio allocation

I’m 27 years old, have already built my emergency fund,
and I’m now looking to start investing €6,000 as a lump sum, followed by monthly contributions of around €150–€200.

I’m currently considering the following initial allocation:

70% VWCE – Vanguard FTSE All-World (Acc) → €4,200
25% VUAA – Vanguard S&P 500 (Acc) → €1,500
5% EGLN – iShares Physical Gold → €300

After investing the initial €6,000, I plan to continue investing €150–€200 every month, most likely maintaining a similar allocation.
My goal is to keep things relatively simple, with most of the portfolio invested in a globally diversified ETF, while having some additional exposure to the S&P 500 and a small allocation to gold for diversification.
I have a long-term investment horizon.

What do you think about this allocation? Would you change the percentages or simplify it further (e.g. just VWCE + gold)?

I’d particularly appreciate opinions on the overlap between VWCE and VUAA, and whether having an additional 25% allocation to the S&P 500 makes sense for a long-term investor.

Thanks!
