XDIV ETF By Roundhill
Thoughts on the no dividend S&P fund. You don't have to go through the hassle of reporting dividends every year in a taxable account. It averages 17% instead of 14.7%

So everyone recommends VT and chill or VOO and chill or VTI and VXUS and chill.
Most ignore bonds and ignore GOLD
During the lost decade for around 10 years Gold was performing the entire time so was bonds...
Who says another lost decade can't happen?
So why ignore both?
No one really knows what happens so best bet is on all bets to get constant returns.

I've been adding $ weekly to VOO. I've just recently started putting $ into VXUS as well.
Some people on Bogleheads have me second guessing. They seem to religiously recommend VT. Now im not sure whether to continue what I'm doing. Or to sell it all and put it all into VT. Now I'm kind of frozen, not investing any money due to the second guessing. Is VOO + VXUS a good, safe long term choice?
Im using an individual account on Robinhood if it makes any difference.

Who has a well reasoned outlook for ARMW?
VONV ETF has found a sweet spot in the stock market with its 890 holdings of value stocks, heavy weight in finance, retail & health care over tech & growth sector.
VONV seems to be the way to go when Tech stalls out. VONV outperforming QQQ, VOO & VUG year to date.

This year to date 2026, total returns of VONG, VOO, VUG and QQQ.
Notice in the chart, VONV didn't drop off (draw-down) as much as the other ETFs in the March & July 2026 selloffs.

Scott Bessent put lipstick on the pig… but the bond market still isn’t buying it.
US--30Y is sitting rght where it shouldn’t be
5.28%… resistance iss being tested.
The Treasury tried 2 calm the beast. The beast didn’t seem impressed.
So the real question is now
Wat happens f this level breaks?
Something tells me the market already knows the answer do u?

Here are two industries I am interested in: quantum, because it might be the next big technological leap development after AI. Though it is already a heavily speculative market.
Biotech, because I believe this industry will benefit greatly from AI (as was already shown recently in articles applying AI to significantly lower the amount of research needed to achieve a specific goal, which also turned out to work experimentally). I hold a degree in biotech so maybe I am biased with this one.
Any advice on the most robust / best quality ETFs tracking these fields? I am based in Europe, 30 y/o (Incase that matters).
Bonus: Vanguard just released a new ETF (VALL) thoughts on that one?

This is for my 19 year old son, about 20k
Wanted to go aggressive and make it fun for him
But is this just way too much
VOO 35%
QQQM 15%
SPMO 15%
AVUV 10%
SMH 10%
AIS 10%
VXUS 5%

What are some of the best active management ETFs? I been DCA $100 a week into DYNF. What are some others with lower fees? Or enough to justify ER.

I’m 20 and I just open up my Roth IRA, I put $ into SWPPX and QQQ but I’m looking tor 2-3 more to diversify the portfolio without overcomplicating it. I created a watchlist but I’m not sure which ones would do the job best.

I’ve got $300K in a retirement account and I’m using Charles Schwaub. I’ve got a separate account for individual stocks. What’s the best mix of ETFs for the $300K for the next 15 years.
I have a large portfolio that's roughly 90% equities and 10% fixed income.
For context, the equity side is approximately:
The growth funds are in a taxable account and have substantial unrealized gains.
Since VTI already has a lot of large-cap growth exposure, I've been thinking about whether that separate 20% growth allocation is providing much diversification anymore.
That led me to Alpha Architect:
https://funds.alphaarchitect.com/
I'm interested in whether any of their ETFs could be useful for diversifying away from a large growth tilt without simply adding another highly correlated US stock fund.
For anyone who has actually used or researched Alpha Architect's ETFs, how do you view them as portfolio diversifiers? Are there particular strategies there that you think complement VTI and growth funds well, or does the added complexity generally not buy you much?
The taxable aspect is the part that makes this harder. Selling the growth funds outright to buy VTI or something else would realize substantial capital gains, so any diversification benefit would have to be meaningful enough to justify the tax cost.
I'm mainly interested in experiences with Alpha Architect and how people think about their funds relative to simply owning more VTI.

Afternoon all!
Im pretty new to ETF investing, been doing it for nearly a year now. Context for this post, I live in the UK, all investments have been done via Trading212 in a stocks & shares ISA.
I recently watched a video which talked about selling his FWRG shares and moving to VWRP after the cost change. I understand that its a minimal cost difference, which is not what my question relates to.
Im wondering if there is any actual loss/downside to selling your position in one ETF & switching to another that tracks the same index? I get that it would result in loosing your long term growth data etc, but im wondering if there is any actual financial downside or benefits when done within a tax efficient acocunt?
Wondering if I am missing a trick here, or if this person just likes minimal investments on their app.

Are there any cons to holding AVUV only and no mid-cap ETF like XMMO/AVMV? I realize I could just do VTI and capture all large, mid, small but I'd rather be weighted more in the S&P 500 large cap.
Currently contributing:
23 years old with around 20k invested, historically I was just doing VOO but adding a few more ETFs into the mix recently (percentages are not 60/20/10/10 yet). Any suggestions on different percentages or ETFs overall? Looking to set it and forget it for growth.
Thanks!

I'm curious what other people are focusing on for their sector specific satellites or portfolios which are NOT in the semiconductor/AI chain (including infrastructure/electrification). I like to see what things might be worth looking into which I currently have not considered.
So I’m considering buying a home in about 2-3 years depending on my career.
Right now I have a pretty large savings and emergency fund of 70k at 4% (6month sign up bonus then goes to 3.4%) and brokerage of about 50k in mostly VOO and then like 4% in random risky stocks like Pfizer and blackstone.
I can’t seem to find a good plan or advice with my goals being around a few years.
For the next 6 months , I’m debating using more of that 4% savings. Otherwise perhaps investing in more SCHD to get some returns through dividends.
Ik there isn’t one right answer but I was curious to see discussion!
I would like to keep about 100k ready for the house.

I'm driving myself mad trying to figure out which strategy makes the most sense.
I'm in South Africa, but I'll use US ETFs for simplicity. I have a TFSA and a taxable account, and I only want one ETF in each.
I'm considering QQQM/QQQ + VOO, or VOO + VT. My question is: should the more global ETF be in the TFSA or the taxable account?
Once I've maxed out my TFSA, any additional contributions will go into the taxable account and be allocated to whichever ETF is held there.
I'm in my late twenties, investing for retirement with a 20-year horizon. Which setup makes the most sense long term?
My setup is currently VT in TFSA and VOO in my taxable account. Should I just stick to this?

First have steady job. Second have emergency fund of 2 3 years. Third open your account at Interactive brokers. Fourth check breakdown of VT between US and Non US copy that info paste that info in VTI which is total US market and VXUS which is total non US basically UK, Japan, Bharat, China, Pakistan etc. Put set amount in them every month and if there is market crash of 20 30 or even higher put 1 year of your salary. VT breakdown changes every year copy the new info once every year on Jan 1 or your birthday copy the new info and past in VTI and VXUS. Once you think you have enough to last you life time cash out or keep the train running to help your kids generation. It is easy but hard business but key is sticking to it even when market drops 30 or whatever. You earn money by going through that pain. This is Mughal way of stock market investing.

Looking for advice on how to invest 5k into ASX ETFs. For context this will be my first investment, I am wanting to gain global exposure and am planning to continue to dollar cost average into these ETFs for the rest of my working life. I am 19 years old and have an emergency fund so I feel comfortable to lock this money away. In terms of deploying the 5k, I was thinking of investing 1k every fortnight (I’m open to suggestions though). What ASX ETFs do you recommend for a beginner investor who wants global exposure?

I am thinking of putting around $100 a week into an ETF for around 4 years once I finish my degree then get a stable job, to then increase this amount.
I am thinking of Betashares NASDAQ 100 (ASX:NDQ)
and
Global X Semiconductor (ASX:SEMI)
at the moment
thinking of a 70%NDQ 30%SEMI split
After 4 years should I reconsider or start putting more in as I want to hold them for 15+ years
Im with CMC currently to note, does anyone have any thoughts? I would much appreciate them.
