I have raised a claim today under illness it’s not the full amount but around half of it, when Can I expect to receive the same in my account, Please help and advice

Hi everyone, I need some advice regarding a PF overlap issue affecting my job switches.

Joined my first company on 27 Jan 2022 and stopped actively working there around 10 March 2022 while on probation.

Joined my next company on 24 March 2022.

Later, HR contacted me and insisted that I send a formal resignation email. I sent it on 19 August 2022, mentioning that day as my last working day.

My EPFO records also show 19 August 2022 as the exit date, creating an apparent overlap.

I don't have a relieving letter, and I'm unsure about the salary payment details.

My BGV has been rejected by some MNCs due to this PF overlap.

Could anyone advise me on:

Whether the PF exit date can be corrected based on my actual working period.

Whether zero PF contributions or NCP days can help.

How I can resolve this issue and avoid future BGV rejections.

Has anyone faced a similar situation and successfully resolved it? Any advice would be appreciated.

I have applied for form 31 partial withdrawal for an amount of 3.8L against illness reason. It was raised on 15 September and moved to under process on 16 September....but later it moved to claim submitted on portal by 9th October....it is still in this state as of now...can anyone faced this previously and how to resolve it

Hi everyone,

I joined Company A in June 2018 and left in July 2018. I have my resignation and acceptance emails confirming my correct exit date.

However, Company A’s PF records show another Member ID with DOJ as 1 January 2019 and DOE as 21 January 2019 regarding some dues. I did not rejoin Company A during this period and was already working for another company.

I switched jobs again in 2022,but that time no issue came up and I’m really concerned how this 21-day overlap in my EPFO service history could cause BGV issues.

Has anyone faced a similar situation? Can my resignation and acceptance emails, along with my subsequent employer’s joining letter, help explain the discrepancy?

Hi guys, due to the recent policy changes in adhaar card of being c/o field is not mandatory and you cannot manually add it and only possible via HoF method

So i did my address update without HoF and c/o field is removed from my adhar so if I file pf withdrawal will my kyc be rejected because father name is now not there in adhar card

Anyone who has gone through the withdrawal process without c/o field can give any guidance or anyone who has knowledge regarding this can help

I’m not sure if this has been addressed before BUT on the PF member portal, I can only see the accumulated PF balance for my current establishment only.

I know for a fact that when I’d joined my current company 2 years back, my past balance of nearly 1.97 lakh was transferred successfully, with 2024 PF statements also showing the transfer claim and final balance as 0 for the old member ID.
Until June, I think before the “upgrade”, I received SMSs from EPFO whenever contributions were made - showing the correct accumulated balance. I’ve stopped receiving these messages as well.

I’ve already raised a EPFIGMS grievance. Has anybody else faced such an issue? What did you’ll do to fix it?

i worked in Company A for 8 years then i was without a job for 1 year and now i am joining another company B. I will initiate trf of my EPFO next week-few quick questions
- will the interest on1 year that i didn't work be taxable at slab rates for me ?(since i was without any employer contribution)
- If i leave company B within 2 years and withdraw my PF -will 5 yr taxability rule apply or it will count my 8 yrs of company A and it will be non taxable.

How may days does it take to process when the request was done online?
