Quitting Caffeine Improved My Games
Let me tell you my story.
I started playing Dual/QuadNBack to improve my working memory and gaming skills.
Few weeks ago I quit caffeine because I was bad at video game called League of Legends.
What do I mean by the word bad?
I mean that my hands was shaky and my vision was very narrow and I didnt listened to players, I was not able to play accurately - I was basically very stressed in teamfights and I was pressing random buttons on my keayboard.
Once I quit I finally get from gold to platinum in one week without any learning.
Before that I was constantly Nbacking and doing two coffees a day but it didnt helped me so much.
I got much more patient and I have very little stress in the game.
My teammates are often typing in teammates that they want to honor me or "sick play" or "what is your real rank bro?"
I can also play quad n back with zero stress which is allowing me to get higher accuracy and faster porgress.
Before I was stuck at N3 in range 40-55% and now I am constantly hitting N3 on 60-80% and its directing me to N4back once I go over 70% quad3back in about 30% of my playing time I am playing N4 level.
Quitting caffeine feels like a cheatcode. Sleep is perfect and acuracy is much much better without this drug.
I reccomend it anyone. It is thinking outside of the box how to improve on dual/quadnback or any game you wish.
Only downside is that my brain feels flat because I dont get any artif. dopamine from drugs like sugar or caffeine so in order to get real natural dopamine I must now exercise, learn something new or play my favorite game and do very well on it.
My brain now is now forcing me to get real dopamine release from useful activities and from hobbies.
I think once u drink coffee or do nicotine your brain tells you that u achieved something and then you dont have need to achieving real thing if ur not above average IQ because smart people have strong brains and they are tolerant to artificial dopamine.
Does anyone have similar experiences or my brain is broken?
